The last two bounties were a lot harder afair. You have to get all those guys into a tight space to pull off the instakilling Heart of Fury + Combusting Wounds combo (see Kaylon's vid). And while doing so things can get horribly wrong. So I had to test those fights with a similar build in a separate non-ultimate savegame and the console - until I knew what to do. Everybody can charm dragons (except one of the Bog Dragons) with Munacra Arret or Spirit Spiral (they both do 3 Whisper of Treason with +10 ACC per rest) - which means that the charmed dragon leaves you alone and kills his/her ads first. Makes a big difference for me.

Maybe you didn't play far enough and/or used the wrong powers? I think @Raven Darkholme did an ultimate run with a Cipher. Or at least a solo run on PotD. The biggest advantage of the Cipher in ultimate runs is Psychic (+Brutal) Backlash. It has no limits per encounter anymore and this means that dragon auras trigger it every 3 secs. All dragons are killing themselves while getting stunlocked (if not immune)... Biggest disadvantage is that the CIpher cannot use a lot of good powers without party members. A Cipher with a shield can become pretty tanky due to Psychovampiric Shield and Borrowed Instincts. With Time Parasite the focus generation isn't that tedious anymore. You can get to 0 recovery with it pretty easily, even with a weapon & shield setup + plate armor. At the start of battle a couple of gunshots can fill you up with focus to get things rolling.

I think @grausch and somebody else did complete Wizard ultimate runs (without any mods). Getting camping supplies isn't that difficult and there are enough of them on the way if you know where to look. If you use summoned weapons a lot until you get spell mastery (which turns some spells up to tier 4 into per-encounter abilities) you can do without too much resting. Especially Concelhaut's Parasitic Staff is extremely good in the early game since it has enormous base damage and comes exceptional which helps a lot with the Wizard's poor starting ACC but also deals a whole lot of damage per hit. It helps a lot if your go-to buffs can be cast per encounter instead of per-rest. --- I tried an ultimate run with a Fire Godlike Barbarian (focused on maxed out Retaliation & Heart of Fury damage + Combusting Wounds) and failed like 1 meter before the finishing line: I got killed in Noonfrost on the way to Sun in Shadow from a bug. Second Wind triggers Battle Forged burn damage and applies it to yourelf, killing you at high levels because the retaliation damage is so high). I knew about this - but in the heat of battle simply forgot.

It is perfectly in line with all the other Huana gear. I just guess players completely miss that the Reckless Brigandine is of Huana origin. As is Kapana Taga (and some other stuff as well). Basically all hide armors are of Huana style and therefore have this very "special" look that absolutely doesn't look like the usual european medieval stuff. The "gay bar" remark was pretty uncalled for. Obviously this armor looks more like something you'd wear when going to the Loveparade or Burning Man... I like to build an Unbroken/Trickster Mataru as main tank - basically like this build but with Cadhu Scalth instead of Stalker's Patience. The shield fits very well (stylisticly) with Kapana Taga and the Brigandine. Unfortunately there's only one good unique helmet that also looks fine with this: White Witch Mask. Fortunately its enchantments fit the Trickster part quite well, so it's ok. For all other helmets there's the "hide headgear" option on the char sheet. If you roll with the Huana style it's nice. Of course Edér isn't the best fit - I mean visually - for such a setup. I use an Aumaua of course. Best if skin color and pattern harmonize with the outfit.

If you have a Rogue you can get Reckless Briganine very early with a bit of "hit and run": use Gouging Strike (or the Lover's Embrace Dagger from stealth if you don't wnt/don't have Gouging Strike) and hit the Ancient Huana Deathguard who's wearing it. Then use Smoke Veil (this is kind of mandatory) and retrat to the entrance of the dungeon. Move the combat speed slider to "fast" and wait until the death guard is killed. I would pick Smoke Veil anyway since it's an awesome ability and the only invisibility effect (besides Vanishing Strikes) that doesn't break from ticks of DoTs (damage over time effects like Gouging Strike etc.). Even if you don't use Backstab or are an Assassin it's nice to have it as emergency button in order to let enemies lose interest completely.

Contender Armor or the Reckless Brigandine. The latter even gives you more engagement. Since you wanted less of a tankish character (who are usually the ones having lots of engagement slots) and light armor I personally would recommend something else. But it also depends on what you have in mind - I mean visually or which general look and feel you are after. Reckless Brigandine and Contender's are in Huana style. C's Armor comes late (DLC), R's Brigandine is hard to rush because it's guarded rather heavily.

If you take Swift Flurry (for those sweet crit-chains which lead to Stalker's Patience omitting recovery) you also want high Percerption (because high PER = more Accuracy = more crits). High Perceptionon the main character is good anyways because the official companions don't have too high PER - and you need at least one in your party with high PER in order to find all traps and secrets.

There is an awesome spear called "Stalker's Patience" which would be the spear I would be aiming for if I wanted to do a spear & shield build. Does it have to be a single class rogue or are multiclasses (like Rogue/Ranger, Rogue/Monk and so on) also ok? Or even multiclasses that seem roguish bit actually contain no rogue class (like a Ranger/Monk and so on)? Because Stalker's Patience has an enchantment that gives the spear che chance to omit recovery on crit. Combined with Monk's Swift Flurry and Heartbeat Drumming (which can lead to a cascading flurry of crits) this enchantment can trigger quite often especially on lower difficulties then Path of the Damned. It can be a ton of fun. I would advise to use small shields then to avoid any ACC malus. Another good direction - but on the tanky side - is an Unbroken/Trickster with spear and shield. Spears have a fitting modal that helps with the engagement. Trickster delivers damage but also a deflection boot.

As a side note: if you charm/dominate an enemy and then cast Disintegrate on them they won't flip back. It avoids that the enemies still attack you while they are dying from the DoT. Also works with Soul Ignition. Whisper of Treason almost costs nothing for a Beguiler. The only thing is that I don't know how charmed/dominated enemies interact with Brilliant Tactician. It may well be that they screw it up.

I tried it on a solo Berserker/Debonaire with Squid's Grasp. In theory it all works out: the character gains several inspirations from Rapier and Roguish Charm as planned, but the downside is you can't steer the charmed char anymore (so no switching to Modwyr like I also planned to do). You can't reselect as solo char because there's nobody else to select. Maybe there's some key to unselect all? And besides not being able to steer him he also doesn't do anything - because he lacks the AI I guess (didn't try to make a custom AI and switch it on). Maybe max RES and -x% hostile effects stuff could make this usable, but I don't think so. So I suspect it's best to not put the Rapier and the Roguish Charm on the same character...? Should try if a good AI setting takes over once I charm myself. If so this could be a way out and make this "one man selfcharming army" useful - for a party setup at least. If I can get the AI to switch to Modwyr that would be super good. The inspirations last quite a long time.

Nope. Hostiles can't be party members. Not even allies. Ally and party member are not the same by the way. The first can include summons (I think all friendly summons are considered allies), the second one only actual party members (those five guys you steer around). So it shouldn't even work if a summon gets charmed. But it may be that the description isn't accurate. Worth testing I think...

ROFL - nice one. I never tried to dominate myself. I never eve suspected that one might be able to cast a mind control on oneself at all (even when confused). Berseker/Debonaire charming themselves sounds like a hilarious dissociative-identity-disorder-character-concept. So if the wielder of Squid's Grasp and the Berserker/Debonaire would be the same person - would you get up to three Body Inspirations from Roguish Charm AND Swift + Intuitive from the rapier (Swift will override one of the charm bonuses at some point but stil...)?

I don't understand. You can never have 0% recovery (only when having Blade Cascade or similar effects). Maybe you mean you'll have 0% recovery penalty from armor? That only means that you have no penalty from armor. That penalty prolongs your normal recovery time. But Mob Stance will not reduce that armor penalty (only Armored Grace and some pets do that) - it directly shortens your recovery time no matter the armor. Even if you are butt-naked a Great Sword still has 4 secs of recovery (at 10 DEX). Mob Stance would directly shorten that recovery time. Contender Armor does the same: it lowers recovery time directly, it does NOT lower the penalty. So even if you reach a recovery bonus that balances out the pentalty you can still stack more bonus because then you are actually faster than naked. Same is true for Miscrean't Leather and Devil of Caroc Breastplate. They reduce recovery time directly, NOT the recovery penalty. It may still be the case that you don't need Mob Stance - but maybe not for the reasons you thought. It's effect is quite limited if you are not fighting a lot of enemies at once. It is noticable if you are surrounded though. Generally speaking you can't have too many recovery time reducers or action speed buffs. THey have linear returns so more is always better. What you mean might happen if you take Armored Grace and an armor-penalty-reducing pet while wearing a very light armor or robes: once you are at 0% recovery penalty it makes no sense to stack more. But that's not the case with Mob Stance, Contender's Armor and so on. Everything that says -x% recovery time or +x% action speed is good to have and will benefit you. You just have to decide if it's worth the cost.
