  1. Nobody loves me! Everybody hates me! I'm going out to the garden eatin worms...eatin worms...eatin worms. Big fat juicy ones!! Little bitty skinny ones!! I'm going out the garden eatin worms...ohh...my bad. Being understood is considerably overrated IMHO.
  2. That isn't because you get "sucked in". It's because you finally wise up to the reality of the world. The reality is that sticking with the Jedi makes no sense. Joining the Sith is the only logical choice.
  3. Sith as they are 'explained' by the game text and 'prominent examples' are chaotic evil. A power structure based on this would be rather unstable. But, on the other hand, the general line of events and behavior of your regular Sith trooper shows that the system is more of lawful evil type (which corresponds to my understanding of the 'true' Sith society as the heavily rank-based one). So if you skip that dumbed-down/teenager/maniac interpretation of a Sith as brutality show-offs/dominance junkies, the recruiting for lower rank will be quite easy. The same one that had worked for Wehrmacht/Red Army. Improve current status, become respected by your peers, be feared by your enemies, get privileges @home, get loot from annexed properties, etc. Young one you have shown a thorough understanding of The Sith Code. You have most certainly gained a significant amount of prestige. Go now. You have done well but not enough to impress me. You must gain more prestige in order to prove worthy of being my apprentice.
  4. Depends on the species. I'm sure there are some sentient races that can become Jedi that might very well be considered delicacies by humans. Yes, Yesssss, YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!! That's it. Feed the dark taint that is within your heart young one. Succumb to my demands. Feel the power of the dark side coarsing through your body. Become one with The Sith. -Darth Renegade *merrily munches something on a stick* :D
  5. This is when I finished reading this crappy post... Hades is cool, but like alanschu said, he regurgitates his opinions on a game he says he doesn't want to play, sometimes contradicts himself, and argues with other chaps nonetheless...some people hate him because of it, but I find it's bloody good entertainment...go Hades... It wasn't crappy it was true. People are entitled to their own opinions whether they be negative or positive. Does he do a lot of it? Yeah he does and it can be annoying. But honestly who cares? Just let it go.
  6. It woudn't work if you were a lightside Jedi though. That would probably look pretty gay.
  7. Randomized? That would be great. It would be really cool if when you choose the dark side and finish the game you were the one standing by the logo. That would be so awesome it'd be worth the price of admission alone.
  8. Come with me into the Sith. I will allow you to indulge in your deepest desires and fantasies. You want money and power? Sign up. You want to be a part of the greatest organization in the entire galaxy that never dies? Look no further. For thousands of years the puny Jedi have attempted to destroy us and failed. They can't accomplish it because it's difficult to destroy what you don't understand. They can't understand letting the feelings that are naturally a part of you feed your ability to kill. All they know about is holding Padawans down. Telling them that they're less competent and intelligent than their masters for some untold reason. Knowning all the while that if those same Padawans turned against their masters they would kill them. To join the Jedi is to submit to a life of needless self-restraint, slavery, stupidity, and a flat out pitiful existence as a sucker. In the Republic you will fight for a cause that doesn't serve you. What good is saving the entire world if you're still poor and unknown? Why would you settle for such an existence? Think of Carth Onasi. World reknowned and respected Republic soldier. What did he have to show for it? No money. No family. No honor. Just an empty life of revenge that was brutally ended. And who killed him? Who killed his family? Who destroyed his world? Who proved to be the more dominant group once again? Revan and The Sith on all counts. All that fighting and loyalty didn't serve him in the least. The choice is simple. Join us or perish. Death to the Jedi. Long live the Sith. -Darth Renegade MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  9. The original is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cooler. But it's the game that counts not the logo. I can deal with an inferior logo if the game is dope.
  10. Mission: Out of all the characters she can is the one that requires the smallest amount of usage. You pretty much have to use her when you're in the sewers during the beginning anyway. Talk to her until she says talking about her brother would be a distraction. Right after you finish in the ruins and settling the family feud bring her out and talk to her. She'll tell you more about her brother. Then just walk around in front of the ship a little bit. I know it sounds weird but it works. Lena(Griff's former girlfriend) will come out and inform you he's on the planet with the sand people. From there when you enter the sand people's enclave(doesn't matter whether you do it a dark side or light side way) Griff will be in the cage directly opposite of the Jawa's. Juhani: By farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr the hardest side mission to finish. No matter how much you try you will never be able to get it except at the very end of the game. To get her quest you truly have to work for it. First you must talk to her constantly always checking to see whether or not she has something new to say. You probably want to stick with saying good things towards her. You need to have her in your group nearly at all times which because of her good fighting skills isn't hard at all. Regardless the quest is triggered when you've finally gotten enough about her past for the quest to make sense. You know you're close when she begins to talk about her parents and the murder of her father. Most of the time I faced the guy he was on Korriban. You probably want to make that the last planet you go to. Also doing the Geoharradan quests helps ALOT because it stretches the amount of time you have to talk to her. A couple of times I didn't get her quest not because I didn't try but because I simply ran out of available things to do and ways to talk to her. It truly is that difficult. Carth: Carth isn't too tough. Once again make sure you check with him. Whatever is the first planet you travel to use him in the quest. Usually when i have him he's talked to on Mannan. I always do the planets in the order of Tattoine, Mannan and Korriban for strategic reasons. Like I said usually at Manann Carth is talked to by a guy and finds out his son has joined the Sith. How to complete the quests is pretty straightfoward from there. If you have any other questions or need me to be a bit clearer about some of this then please feel free to ask.
  11. Are you freaking kiddin me?!!!!! The cap and baggy clothing doesn't even come CLOSE to the atrocities in KOTOR. Those friggin jumps suits made it look like I was going mountain climbing. -Samori
  12. Finally. Those robes will most CERTAINLY do. -Samori
  13. I wanted to free him. I wouldn't mind him returning at all. -Samori
  14. New clothes?!!! Way too much work?!!! Bulls***!! Last time I was joking but now I'm serious. There's no reason to have those same old tired threads. It's not too much effort. If it's too much effort to not recycle threads from a previous game and create new ones then hell what's the point of creating a new game in the first place? Exactly! There is none! If I don't at the very least see new clothes within the first twent minutes I'll....I'll....I'll...*sigh*...continue playing. But it still would be nice to have some new threads. -Samori
  15. I'm not sure how much I can agree with you. Number one I think the developers purposely made Malak weak and dependent upon the Star Forge. It's a shift in position. At first you're the weak Jedi and he's supposed to be the Sith Lord commanding his great ship to blow up planets from afar. And then you're the truly great master of the force and he is reduced to a soul sucking wimp. I think it builds up to you claiming your place as leader of the Jedi's. The music however could've been better I agree. As far as spanning several places I'm not so sure about that. Not just because of the engine but hell because of the load times as well. Just make him really powerful and make the ending good so that I can truly feel like I've accomplished something. -Samori
  16. So what are good points of references when it comes to Star Wars materials outside of the movies and KOTOR games? -Samori
  17. I think you quoted the wrong person....I was agreeing with your point that it's very realistic to think Bastila can be killed off. I just accidentally quoted the whole thing as supposed to just his part. Sorry about that. -Samori
  18. I believe that they are a race... Boba Fett has Mandalorian Armor... He's the Dark Lord of the Sith, before Revan and Malak, but that's all I know about him... I don't know much about EU, but maybe Mandalore is a title you take when you become the leader of the planet Mandalore... I'm not sure about all of these mainly because my knowledge of EU is limited, so correct me if I'm wrong and elaborate if I'm right... What does EU stand for? -Samori
