Even the chaotic have a method to their madness. Why be a hammer in a given situation when one can be deadly and precise like a surgical scalpel? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You sound like Kreia  Next you'll be talking about "echos"

It pays well. It's also a profession that dosnt have a "side". Which gives you a lot of freedom of choice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...There is that, but I still don't like it personally. Traditionally, mercs fight for the highest bidder and generally, lack a lot of morals. And loyalty. Except to their purse.

Will someone please explain the appeal of being a mercenary to me? I can't for the life of me work it out. There is no romance and mercenaries have been named "dogs of war" for a reason.

Men will never be equal to women. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And that's one of the reasons why there are so many gender related "issues".

- Bastila vs Mara Jade
That's easy. Bastila would win - and if anyone doubts why, well, she has a bond with Revan. And Revan would easily hold his own against any of the Jedi Masters or Sith Lords. Therefore, using the strenght of the bond, Bastila would win.- Who Kriea actually could be?
Another possiblity is that Disciple's words were not scripted quite right. Perhaps it was overlooked or mistyped or something. *shrug*. Then again, Disciple could be wrong. They all could be.- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions

Mmm.... I want to play as Kreia.- YOUR CHARACTER
Hell hath no furry like a woman's wrath ring a bell? We can be very evil and violent when we want to. It must the all of those soft feminine emotions we have that turn into their polar opposite. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It does, but I've yet to encounter it to that extreme. I've seen several males that are capable of matching females in terms of wrath* (to my knowledge). It's going to vary of course, from individual from individual and different factors, of course. And I don't believe for a second that those "soft feminine emotions" turn females into polar opposites. I think its a conscious choice. They get pissy/pissed when someone or something sets them off. Various triggers and all that. Of course, being male, I'm bias. My point is, if driven far enough I don't think gender matters all that much. They may have different ways of displaying it, but I think that wrath is pretty much the same if said person is truly of that mindset/mentality. I'm not saying for a moment that a woman can't be ruthless; she can be. I'm just saying that I think males have the potential to match it if they truly wish it. *(or are just as cold-blooded when they choose might be a better way of phrasing it)- Who Kriea actually could be?
Who says she's happy with it? I actually think that is precisely the "betrayal of the heart" that she talks about as a condition for becoming Darth Traya. Either that or the "betrayal of the heart" lies with Yusanis leaving her, when she turned to the dark side with their child. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Following that line of thought... is it possible that Kreia had Revan kill Yusanis out of revenge? I mean, if she was his teacher, I would have to wonder if she directed at least some of his actions... and if Revan took out Yusanis for breaking Kreia's heart. I mean, if Revan cared for Kreia as much as she seems to for him/her... ?- YOUR CHARACTER
Females can be just as violent as males, and visa versa. I don't see why gender should make a difference except in terms of personality and whatnot. Not in capablity. (unless we take "intuition" into account...)- No fight in RPG
Games should be fun for all involved, including the DM/GM. Personally, I like having my villains fool the pcs into thinking that he/she is actually *good*. Much fun. Usually turns out though that the none of the factions in the world are "good" and each are out for self interest and are all justified - in their own way. Tends to annoy those who want to play Paladin types.- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
Yes, it's perfectly okay to use force lightning on a captive woman, or to use force choke to crush the life out of someone, but it isn't okay to take their hand or head...- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
Yeah, I agree. It may sound gory, but we've seen sliced off body parts in every film. It's sort of expected. And D20 Star Wars rules do allow for it - just implement the Wounds rules. Who cares if the Sith lord loses the hand or even the head once he's down to negative vitality anyway? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They could tie it into "critical hits". Or misses. <_<- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
It would be nice if "cliffs" and "holes" actually mattered. Thus, I could use force push to knock the next "Kreia" from her 'lofty perch'...- KOTOR2's My Favorite Game, but I hate one thing...
It doesn't matter whether you believe Kreia is right or not - there is no way Obsidian could have allowed the force to die by the player siding with Kreia. Lucas Arts & GL never would have stood for it, even if they deemed such a thing was possible. That said... Personally I like Kreia. She's a tad misguided, but *shrug* so are all the Jedi in the game. The Sith too. That doesn't mean I agree with her. Granted, she has some interesting points and interesting views, but I don't have to agree with them to respect her views.- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
That's not actually a bad idea. I like that one a lot. It should definately be included. Maybe they could include a chapter style progression like Half Life 2 ? Would that work though? Since it'd mean making a new character each time..- A disturbing trend
Its sick regardless of gender.- Star Forge vs. Death Star
If so how can he wear them in the Dantooine Star Map movie, if he hasn't found the SF yet? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's an excellent question...- Star Forge vs. Death Star
sorry, but you remember that bit wrong - HK was never created on the Star Forge, but before Revan found the Rakatan system. Remember how you get to ask him about it after finding out you're Revan in K1, and he responds that he doesn't know, because you never took him there. Revan's robes were created by the Star Forge, though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm.. I always got the impression HK was created on the Star Forge. I'll take your word for it though.- Bloodlines
That would be with the dead. They are undead. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unnecrophilia- KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
