Actually, he needn't have smoked anything. I don't know what "official lists" you checked but... And what two countries are above Australia? That's right, Norway and Iceland Finland and Sweden aren't far back either. Then there's bunch of other things such as how equality fares etc. lists on which esp. Sweden ranks at the top - Finland too from time to time. Not to mention we finns have best (and free) education system in the world according to PISA

Silly thing to say considering Nordic countries are most welfaring and secular countries in the world. Oh, and they're all protestants Australia's not Protestant (well, like 25%), and it beats the majority of Nordic countries at development and welfare. ...what the hell are you smoking, there's reason why Nordic countries are usually called "folkhemmet" (esp. Sweden and Finland) That doesn't translate into GPD's either. Australia is one of the best faring countries in the world but claiming it beats majority of Nordic countries at development and welfare is ridiculous and false (I even went to check official list for this, geez)

It is rare treat for me to have so long time and so vague memories of game it nearly feels like new experience. Normally when I've seen something I remember it forever. But most of my memories concerning Deus Ex are very vague, propably because of my age and much worse english skillz back when I originally played it. I've got even more out of this game now than back then. But damn I hate the feeling of claustrophoby Unreal engine forces on the game even though maps themselves are huge.

Just felt like sharing, songwriting credit controversies of Animals-The Wall era are damn annoying (Waters one godamn egoistical **** at the time). You remember the lovely acoustic piece on Is There Anybody Out There? It was written by Bob Erzin the famed producer of The Wall. I have reasons to suspect Hey You also featured writing by Dave and I've heard there should be other such songs too...

is great musician but at least as good in stealing creds from other people. Most of PF's best songs feature musics (and melody) from Dave or Rick, sometimes from both. And in Animals-The Wall time RW was really bitchy with creds (Dave has writing on all 3 main songs in Animals for example)

From DSotM Money was group composition. Waters made demo and brought it to band. Dave wrote some extra riffs and Wright did keyboard improvisations as did Nick with drums. Dave also came with idea of changing time signature from 7/4 to 4/4 during the instrumental break/bridge/whatever which was basically group jam. Roger -
It is pretty typical for the late RW era that Rog stole all the credits. Both Pigs and Sheep feature writing from Dave. For example crossfade synth (awesome effect) after that line I posted was Dave's idea as well as couple of riffs here and there - particularly the awesome one after each verse. I think Khelgar (although he gets sneered at codex because of his cliches) is actually one of the best written characters of the last years. He is twisted cliche with great character development and interaction. He didn't get that price for best written character for nothing. Not original but too damn well executed to dismiss. Shandra and Ammon Jerro were great ones too, Sand was ok Others... *puke*
