  1. Oh yeah that is classic (and source for Zoma's comment) http://rpgcodex.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=...ghlight=#348044
  2. We're not talking about those inferior pieces of work - we're talking about THE Baldur's Gate games
  3. Happy birthday Just keep your eyes off of my sig for today
  4. Neither do you when you start to talk out of your ass wihtout any kind of idea what I tried to do, namely comparing two movies as example of stupidity, conversation ending strawman nature of "whaa but i liek it more and that sucks " without backing your statement with any kind of observance (bigger response to whole ****e coming soon enough)
  5. Nah, I'd rather do this
  6. And you're idiot savant as always but that doesn't have anything to do with matter at hand That was my response to walkerguy's nonsensical post by the way
  7. I had shut my eyes and ears for the twist since the very beginning. Plots in Star Wars games or in EU general ain't exactly Shakespeare or Milton so to speak and in general plot twists are...uhh, what plot twists? So I approached the game I'd approach another Star Wars game. I also sorta assumed this would be like ANH - which didn't have a plot twist - but next Kotor would as it would be equilavent to ESB. I played the game with two of my friends and one of them had been playing jrpg's such as Final Fantasies with their ridiculously many and stupid twists He saw first cutscene with Revan and that was all he needed. Same happened when I played Jade Empire. I early figured out there was something off with my master. But then I thought it was way too obvious plot twist and forgot about it Stupid twists
  8. Yeah, it's scary to think 6ft Invisible Rabbit has had something to do with nuclear missiles back in the day
  9. Daniel Craig Have you watched Syriana?
  10. Juice Leskinen - Skitsofrenia
  11. yay, The Doors. Hmm, that makes me to listen this: The Doors - The End
  12. Yet they are mature enough to be constantly influenced by violence and gore of the video games? Sex is natural and positive part of human beings. You know there's a lot of studies about children's sexuality around too. And kids should be receiving sexual education since late years of elementary school, not to mention books, films and tv-shows are full with sexuality - hell, even merchandising has been very sexist for god knows how long And nakedness =/= sex It's not like seeing some bare skin forever corrups you or something. It is absolutely ridiculous showing a nipple can bring game's age rank higher. In Europe (and in many other parts of the world) attitude toward nakedness is a lot more natural ad uderstandable. As for America, well, I blame puritans
  13. Syriana showed a world in which superhero secret agent skills are unable to resolve anything. The secret agent in Syriana was a fat middle aged man who ultimately failed to achieve anything except perhaps a small amount of personal salvation. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy James Bond films a lot, but to put the two film's world views together is just a really strange juxtapostion. It has a lot just to do with gaming mechanics I think. Obviously our McSneakers is going to be able to cap some headshots day after day like a true pro and all the crap like that. Very bondish, not very syrianaish edit: this just occured to me, have you played KotOR 2?
  14. Visas had hottest voice, Handmaiden/Brianna was teh... of forget it
  15. Well hello there Miss Negative, remember there are many kinds of Bonds. I hope you also noticed they said game was Bondy above all combatwise (understandable enough with all the superhero style agent skills), not much as been said about story, location and their themes, moods etc. before this Only anti-Syrianaish non-combat thing so far has been the chicks bagging but that's just one optional part of the game. Therefore I conclude it's not impossible for them to coexist What was wrong with the ending?
  16. Of course, better ending demanded
  17. Pink Floyd - Two Suns in the Sunset Might be only song ever to make me depressed, largerly because it is about nuclear holocaust like the moment when your brakes lock and you slide toward the big truck and stretch the frozen moments with your fear and you'll never hear their voices and you'll never see their faces you have no recourse to the law anymore and as the windshield melts my tears evaporate leaving only charcoal to defend finally i understand the feelings of the few ashes and diamonds foe and friend we were all equal in the end
  18. Yeah, what I feared the most that this would end up as some silly, typical average run-off-the-mill agent story with better than average dialogues but that gave me new faith Syriana is fantastic film and if Obsidian really decided to carry its theme over to games... Greatness. This might be same thing to Bond etc. games as KotOR 2 was to your general Star Wars ****e "depthwise"
  19. Pink Floyd - Southampton Dock she stands upon southampton dock with her handkerchief and her summer frock clings to her wet body in the rain in quiet desperation knuckles white upon the slippery reins she bravely waves the boys goodbye again
  20. funcroc: That is all
