  2. The entire human race is just a bunch of chemicals. That doesn't invalidate our experiences. Never said it did. I'm just pointing out that its just chemicals, same as all emotions. Aahh, speaking like me when I was 15. Chemical - or should I say biological considering the complexity of living systems - basis for love is very different thing from love itself. Just like consciousness isn't identical to brain nor is our experience or should I say qualia homogenous to chemical processes. Love - like whole existence - is a lot more than what materialism would tell. Love is also a lot more than "mere" feeling with chemical drivel propelling it (how deep one dwells on that qualia is another thing entirely. It shouldn't come as surprise how good we humans are at repressing our natural responses and thus changing nature of whole phenomenon) higher. I recommend Sartre's writing on love and it's "doing" or "deed" nature contrasted with sheer infatuation or other such emotional response.

heard the Bauhaus cover? Nope you should check it out - it's really quite good Ziggy Stardust Yeah, not bad Though I think they had way too much distortion on their guitars to serve the riffs well, especially
  13. Whole "RPG must have choices and consequences or it isn't RPG lol" is nothing but ideology spawned by Vault Dweller and his, erm, "followers". It is ideology which I agree with in sense that proper roleplaying game must feature C&C. HOWEVER IT IS NOT THE DEFINING FACTOR. Oblivion is RPG. Bad one, but RPG nonetheless
  14. Training Georgian troops have been going on for how long already. SUPPORTING Georgia is no brainer in such area. That doesn't mean USA prefers "Saakvillain" to some other democratically elected (pro-west of course) leader. The whole deal with Russia getting peacekeeping responsibilities (back in 90's) is contrived anyway. I'm not defending Georgia, what I'm saying is that both sides are being gigantic **** here.

    SAUCE PLZ
  16. You know that inside Washington (well, based on few articles I read yesterday) Saakashvili is considered to be way too patriotic, obnoxious and hotheaded? You can be sure Georgia's assault didn't have U.S's official or unofficial support

I have really, really hard time believeing Herman Hesse's book can be worst ever Ever heard of articles? That book is quite possible the most boring book ever. Well, considering my sudden loss of belief in literature as artfrom (in comparison to music and movies) nearly all I nowadays read ARE articles. Heck, currently I'm reading exhanges between physicist Henry Stapp (known for solving Bell's Theorem and his work on S-Matrix Theory [who I've quoted in my profile btw]) and philosopher John Searle (your average modern-day compatibilist). And some stuff that clearly shows why Daniel Dennet blows (sorry Dawkins!) As well as rather interesting paper taking very critical, philosophical stance against "Scientiphicalism".
  22. Except one of the main reasons of EU is to reduce importance of USA lol

I have really, really hard time believeing Herman Hesse's book can be worst ever Anyway, I'm reading book called Life After Death that mostly deals with different conceptions of death and afterlife in different cultures. Really insightful and and informing book, polynesians beliefs were some heavy **** back in the day
