What are you Playing Now? Games = Life
ShadySands replied to Amentep's topic in Computer and Console
Nurmanurma was a good book but the combat and most of the gameplay was terribad. You'll be glad it's mostly skippable. -

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Part 2

I really like OP endgame mages but I'd be lying if I said I didn't also enjoy PoE's more useful at lower levels ones even if I thought they were lacking at the top end. It's not a trade off I'd like to keep though and I had a few arguments discussions about it with some posters in the PoE section who wanted magic to be essentially mundane. I didn't think a fireball should just be a grenade or a missile spell just be different VFX arrows, make them a little more magical. -

Did you play them in Co-op? Most people I know that generally have otherwise good taste and like those games played them in co-op -

I've enjoyed the PF games more than the PoE games while hating the D:OS games. I'd rank them like this and this is purely in order of enjoyment that I got out of them WOTR KM Yoga Fire PoE D:OS D:OS2 Though I guess my favorite games of the KS era are the Shadowrun ones -

My fire kineticist just got out of the shield maze. I'm considering just kicking out or refusing all the companions I don't like or use during this run since the only companion that actually grew on me last time was Regill. -

I dunno how the power levels and titles go but that's what the game called it. -

I got there on my own, it was a no spoilers run even though I'd played all the way through chapter 4 in the beta. I did save and reload a lot to see different outcomes of stuff that wasn't in the beta so there was a little trial an error but I didn't know that was a possible outcome until I got it. I'm kind of a completionist in games though not an achievement hunter. Skipping Nenio's quest hurt me almost as bad as trying to do it. -

Sorry Nenio, your final quest isn't happening this run. That place is a slog. Anyways, I'm approaching the end of the game unless it pulls a Kingmaker and has a hidden half act. -
Are backer tags showing as text for anyone else?

Hilariously, the new patch on GOG opens the game's Steam store page when you launch the game -

It looks like I'm stuck in chapter 4 until the next patch -
I dunno, I got a new 32 metric inch monitor and I wanted to see the game on it but I just couldn't get into it.

@GromnirI just checked my completed quests and that one completed fine for me. I think I did it yesterday or the day before but I've been sick and the days are running together. And below is where I'm at currently in the game -

Found out that my uncle (only one left on my mom's side) isn't doing so great and is likely heading to a hospice. He fell or something and went to the hospital last week and they're saying he had a stroke some time ago but nobody noticed because he's perma-drunk and always slurring. Still curious as to what else happened since he was talking and feeding himself just a couple of days ago and now he's in a vegetative state. -
She had to order holo-Geordie to his death to get her bridge officer thing but it was kinda dumb because really all it let her do was take a shift in the captain's chair. She already had rank in the chain of command and had been in charge before... not to mention a seat on the bridge next to the captain since the first episode. Anyway, I was more referring to when the writers have to make her either absent or dumb because story.

They probably didn't think anyone would care but I guess it's like pronouns changing in different descriptions. They probably could implement a system that automagically inserts the right class or whatever but didn't feel it was worth the investment and that's if it occurred to them at all. -
Troi is the first person that popped into my mind too as she is almost always out of commission or just stupidly silent when her abilities would be most helpful.

Packers good, Cowboys bad.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Part 2

Depends how quickly you play these types of games. If you go slow and take your time or play turn based then you may be fine picking it up now because I'm most of the way through Act 3 and haven't had any real issues but otherwise I'd hold off for at least a month or so. The new patch fixed my auto-cast issue so I'm back at it
