I've gotten Esseles drops while running Black Talon before and they are also sold by a vendor outside the spaceport (imp) and in the underground shop area near the Senate building (pub) on the Capital worlds

I'm not sure which group I would fall into The office where I work is full of people who do a completely different job and work for a different company in our group. I mostly work from home but even when I go into the office I'm pretty much there by myself. The nearest person that belongs to the same company as I do is 2 or 3 states away and I only see the rest of my team once or twice a year. I'm also a bit of a workaholic (Mmm... tasty, tasty workahol) and it makes it harder to disengage if work is just down the hall instead of across town or down the street or whatever. Always the temptation of trying to finish just one more thing

If Obsidian kickstarts a space opera RPG, would you back it?
ShadySands replied to Arcoss's topic in Computer and Console
I'd like to say I'd back Obsid on anything but that's not true as I never picked up DS3 or and of the NV DLC. Space Siege 2? No thanks Star Trek RPG? Yes please Something original? Sure that'll work too or WH40K -

I have a similar origin story as Gfted1 and I still think we can and should do more On topic, I'm on call this week and I had 3 calls in the middle of the night and into the wee hours of the morning EDIT: Forgot I also had a weird dream where I was either insane or the gov't was mind controlling me or both and a cousin who I grew up with and is more like a brother to me turned out to be a crackhead. This is what I get for reading the news right before bed

My company already does this in some ways. All of our data loading and data entry and the vast majority of our DBAs are based out of India. Even my team is spread all over the country

Yep, the physical fitness tests are also different in Marines. Male 17-26 year olds Pull ups - 3 min 20 max score Crunches - 50 min 100 max score (2 minute time limit) 3 mile run - 28 min 18 max score Female 17-26 year olds Flex arm hang - 15 sec min 70 sec max score Crunches - 50 min 100 max score (2 minute time limit) 3 mile run - 31 min 21 max score I've heard they are changing it so that women have to do pull ups as well but with 8 being the max score. So even with all the same exercises the requirements are different and there is also a Combat Fitness Test which while having the same tests has different requirements for each gender EDIT:This is just a standard fitness test that everyone has to do and just hitting the minimums will not get you a passing score.

They weren't allowed before but they've been taking volunteers for the past year or so to go through the training from what I understand. Even if they pass and I don't think any have at this point they won't be going on to infantry roles in the "fleet" until 2015 or so as for now this is all research. The woman you met may very well have been a platoon leader/commander as that is the main role for junior officers no matter what their job is
-
All generalizations aside as far as I know none of the women who have tried to pass infantry training have succeeded, at least in the Marine Corps I admit that I haven't been following this closely so this might have changed recently but I don't have a horse in this race so I don't really care
