  1. I only read about it and never tried it myself. Afaik after your hit + autopause + switch a recovery "bar" appears but instantly goes away taking no time. You still would have the casting time, which on a cipher with dumped dex is pretty bad on average already and awful on a long spell. Idk about wiz they seem to have faster casts. I think the cheese only works one way, but if you had 3 weapon slots you probably won't need more than that.
  2. This has been noted many times before. It's op, but kinda ok in my book.
  3. Maybe my reply sounded unhelpful to you, but I adressed why your spellcasting is so slow, because you dumped dex. Ofc you can still play with dumped dex and beat the game with it, b ut that was not your question, was it? As to quick switch: As soon as you quick switch you used to be able to instantly cast another spell, idk if thats still the case in 1.06.
  4. I didn't say you're never gonna use it, I used it when soloing, too, before the LoH buff, though, mind you.
  5. With Cat form, 18+ DEX and dual wield talent it's just a hurricane. With 19+ INT spiritshift lasts 20+sec. It's 1\3 of fight even on PotD. And don't forget about spells. Really, druid now is a little OP i think. What's with all you people saying fights last only seconds? The fights which really matter last a few minutes and who cares how good an ability is if you only fight some random human foes?
  6. Who cares about a 1 per REST heal in the first place? Also it can miss, lol.
  7. I mostly ignore those, lol. For 1 per Rest abilities they're plain horrible.
  8. If it was overpowered compared to other talents & this was a multiplayer game i could understand. But nerfing a defensive talent this badly when the talent isnt over powered and we are on a single player game is just beyond me. Thank people who DID call fighter op, for a long time, even though it was nonsense.
  9. It was before the retaliation nerf and focus build was insane. Even now it should be plenty. Mage is challenging for sure, but so cheap, once you are leveled fully. ^^
  10. I think if you place that many restrictions on yourself, you might be better off soloing. I personally don't use healing other than paladins LoH, I try to do even the tougher fights without figurines (currently party of 3, soloed two times before that). I try to avoid scrolls, most of them are cheesy. I try not to use the kind of spells, people say help you most in a fight, for example paralyze or worse petrify. But I am a damage BITCH, so I never could get over the restrictions you place on yourself, I love seeing foes in pain, lol.
  11. Pretty much all known facts. My cipher always had weapon and shield solo. As to having more accuracy than the +10, sure you don't have something liek distant advantage?
  12. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/80015-all-poe-random-item-day-checklist/ You can get like 5.^^
  13. See my comment on YT. :D Yeah, duoing would be awesome. Any chance you play BG?
  14. I absolutely hate, when a game requires YOU to weaken yourself, so it doesn't get boring. I have high hopes for 2.0, but the same time I'm afraid to be disappointed. Oh well, I can always solo for more challenge...
  15. I had the health problem with low level paladin (1). Believe it or not it is caused by too low accuracy and fights taking too long. As soon as 2.00. is out you won't be having that problem anymore but thats probably too late for you. I can only advise not to kill all monsters if its not absolutely necessary for quest or loot. Or come back later and stronger.
  16. Or only use him ranged. You will still hate him because he does almost rogue damage without afflicted enemies, but at least you won't have to watch Echo melt everything on screen. :D
  17. Have been absent, because ... summer. Now I have to hurry to finish this before 25th. I have better upload speed now, so I might upload more often. Nalrend the wise: https://youtu.be/K5bi27xoYMs
  18. lol that's why I said a PoTD veteran could probably pull it off, but remember this game does have a learning curve and everyone started as a baby. Won't argue with the part, that you have to learn first. But you don't need to be a veteran to beat the game with any full party.
  19. Come on, hes got more than one character or even a full party, wheres the challenge?
  20. Of course it should. Something that is always 100% invincible against all enemies that are slower/equally fast and melee, regardless of relative power, is not good gameplay. Sez You. Me, I couldn't be bothered with kiting.
