  1. Except Darcozzi in my humble opinion. A +20 accuracy buff to your mage or Cipher who is CCing the Master can mean the difference between starting your Trial of Iron run all over again. True, but his tankiness is the same.,
  2. A chanter isn't required. You can solo it with a fair amount of classes (if not all) including the much shunned ranger and paladin. If you have too much trouble use Adragan traps, they are cheesy and not at all required but very satisfying.
  3. I think I made up my mind and will stay GoG for PoE, even though I use Steam for other games.
  4. Wasn't this thread originally about a cipher? Res is only good for a tank in 2.0. because you lack additional def from Per, not that a non tank would max both amyway.
  5. Wut? It even works with figurines. Yet another reason rangers suck.
  6. Oh. Why don't I feel like buying game 1 on steam...
  7. What doesn't matter exactly? What you take. Because hard is not hard at all so it 'doesn't matter'. All fights can be done with 3-man party as well. Sure, but the question is what build would be fun. You can solo with any build, but that doesn't make them enjoyable. What doesn't matter exactly? What you take. Because hard is not hard at all so it 'doesn't matter'. All fights can be done with 3-man party as well. What I specifically meant was the weakness of the barbarian, too little accuracy. On hard all the monsters can be hit way easier because they have 15 points less deflection. The nerf to deflection and and the accuracy buff from Perception could change that. makes it easier again for the barbarian who never was a deflection heavy build.
  8. Even though I usually prefer GOG I'm fighting with myself to buy White March on Steam. There are always early betas on steam and in this game I don't mind testing new content. So idk, anything against steam, other than it's less cool than GOG?
  9. Nah, a cipher still needs Dex, because casting time. I personally will only max Per in 2.0 and go for something like 12 MI, 15+/- IN, 12+ DEX.

  11. Ok on hard it doesn't matter. You basically have 15 accuracy more, because the monsters have 15 def less. In comparison even the 9 accuracy we'll get in 2.0 look bad.
  12. Thats true, though no purely martial class will ever outdamage spellcasters. Don't know about the barbarian, is he better in 2.0, because in 1.06. He kinda sucks.
  13. I can only share about my tank fighter, but I don't think the difference is huge. Fighters have armored grace after all which enables them to attack faster in heavy armour. In 1.06 the fighter is not quite there, yet. But in 2.0 with maxed Per you should do massive damage with dual wield sabres. The up to 9 extra accuracy will let him be beastly.
  14. I always take all three, but never use Mind Plague, lol. It's a good power, but doing famage is more fun. :D
  15. I personally like Goldpact because you can not only get Gift from the machine, but sacrifice Eder (or another companion) to the blood pool and gain 2 Might +2 Deflection. Also in the songbird quest, there is a cruel dialogue, which if you don't want even 1 point in, might be too much already for a pala that despises cruelty.
  16. It's a shame you only use it against dragons, though, the aoes are way more fun in the standard fights.
  17. Oh, yeah the defender nerf sucks. Bye defensive fighter. What you mean 10 Resolve, resolve still gives deflection?
