Chanter, Priest, Cipher + Paladin is quite decent. Especially once you get defensive mindweb.

Just get your fortitude close to 200 (deflection doesn't really matter here) and you won't get stunned anymore. Works well with paladins.

Yeah paladin is one of the best at solo. Personally I'd rate the Chanter higher. And ofc wizard comes very close. Priest needs a bit longer for the buffs to cast but is no doubt capable of soloing all content.

That list looks very good. Chanter maybe higher than paldin idk.

Yeah I respect that decision I shy away from doing it too. Envenomed Strike seems really good thought about taking it a few times.

For Alpine you should take bears fort and just for that one fight forget about Int (respec) it's abswolutely useless in the firght rather more Mig and Con. Int is awesome for most encounters just not for the dragons.^^

It does work so I never thought about it before either.

Going tanky is best for cipher even without retaliation focus. I never beat the adra dragon back when I played cipher but it was my first solo and I was completely clueless and Thaos gave me a run for my money alreadey.^^

I always used the other door before Kaylons and another guys vid, it worksd too it's just slightly more rng based .

Oh it's the secondary effect. Yeah defiant resolve only works on attacks that primarily target will.

I always thought that targets deflection? Haven't really noticed it not working, but I mainly focus on stuff like drasgon fights or spells, works fine there.

OhCiphers and wiz's are a lot of fun.^^ I watched your short wiz playthrough and it starts really rough. I guess later on it should rock with so many spells. There aren't many info around about solo casters as well Well Casters take more damage but they also deal more. I had a lot of fun with wiz compared to cipher it's definitely an easier start and cipher was my first solo before paladins.^^

I would either go Cipher Chanter or Cipher Pally. You obviously can go pretty much any route and make it viable, but having a tank combined with massive dps and CC is super nice. Also cipher deals with aggro very well in using Ectopsychic Echo. And ofc once you are level 15 you will have two tanks because of Mindweb.

I like Tidefall. Used it even on solo Pally for a lot of encounters, but it was more of a fun thing to do not the ncessarily best. But that's the good thing about PoE for new players you don't need the very best to get through, RPs are very viable.

I learned soooooo much from your solo paladin playthrough. I think I wouldn't even bother to start a solo game if I hadn't find those videos. Should do something similar to other classes! Thank you I really want to continue my wiz and do an ultimate chanter run. maybe I'll find the time soon.

This thread gives me all kinds of ideas. Shame this game is still so full of bugs.
