  1. Hm interesting, I didn't even get to see it undr active effects and I only received the healing I should receive from Recovery.
  2. So Ancient Memory and Veteran's recovery doesn't seem to stack, can anyone confirm that?
  3. `No idea about the imprint but if the reflection works like the shield it doesn't reflect Aoes and beam spells.
  4. The new survival mode looks more like a chore than a challenge to me, having to eat/drink like every 14 real life mins to stay healthy or some crap, and no fast travel in a game with such a huge map, sure there are vertibirds later but that's way later, but it's really just a waste of time, the designers expected people to have insane amount of free time and patience to pour into this mode or some ****. I don't really see challenge in this, which requires people to think about how to overcome, but more like a pain in the ass. Skill design is really lame in fallout 4 also, the no level cap design, again encouraging people to pour time into the game, gauss rifles won't even appear in the game unless the player spend like 50 hours leveling up, and makes it annoying for people like me to theorycraft builds because there isn't a level restriction, and weapon mods, one can spend many skill points and many int sacrificing build paths to unlock certain weapon mods only to find that a lot of them can be dropped and bought, and it's pure rng, idk what to even say about this system. DA:I looks more like a dating sim to me, the first map is huge, then the rest of the maps were just dullaf, a lot of useless features like those points you get with nowhere to spend on, and again, no level cap, idk why people even like this feature. I'm more looking forward to elder scrolls 6, although skyrim's combat wasn't exactly great either, my favourite game in this genre, or around this genre is probably kingdom of amalur: reckoning, the combat in that game is pretty amazing, and it has a pretty good skill tree system, open for theorycraft, too bad the art and story fall short. Well the challenge comes from you not being able to manually save. If you really play that game mode the other additions like no fast travel will make sense all of a sudden, goes very well with having to sleep to save. I never got around playing more than the tutorial in DA2 but I probably should have tried DA:O before which I never even touched, sadly.
  5. I love Fallout 4. Whover isn't challenged enough by it needs to try out new survival mode. :D
  6. Now that you guys mention it Lurkers do it too. Weird but I guess disengagement will only happen if you try to attack the engaging character idk.
  7. Engagement is supposed to work on reach? Doesn't feel like it should... On the other hand ogres always get disengagement. Bug maybe?
  8. I noticed the same in upscaled Sun in Shadow not all enemies were upscaled and often enemies that are supposedly tougher were easier than their upscaled "weak" counterparts. I'll try the ogre bounty< as soon as I'm in Elmsshore, might be level 11 or 12 depending on whether I finish WM first.
  9. Some of the upscaled enemies are ridiculous. Baelsyr went from 91 Def to 126 and also hits like a truck with over 100 Acc. I didn't play upscaled WM1 till now but since I played upscaled WM2 I thought I was ready for this. Mind you with a level 9-10 party of 3 I managed to beat everything till now but I had too many reloads and I haven't even faced broodmothers or Alpine yet, let alone Magrans Faithful.
  10. And at some point Mindweb makes your whole party a tank ofc. :D
  11. Or Echo. But the most important part of Boroers post is that you should pick your targets wisely if there is enemies with low deflection and/or DR the3y are preferred. Having Quick Switch and maybe even 3 slots is also very good advice given here but you could also open with a gun and then just switch to a bow and stay with it.
  12. I remember the times when the most vocal members in this forum thougt fighters are the best class ingame, whatever happened to those guys? 5x Echo sounds fun and so do the other options. Somebody really should try and find out what the strongest party at level 9 is, maybe never level the party after 9 and beat the game and all optional challenges with it. My money would still be on the chanters just because of their simplicity.
  13. If you're talking about cast speed exclusively and not recovery only Dex and Alacrity (and maybe likewise buffs) should apply no durganization should. Gauntlets of SA should work.
  14. Yeah pretty much my intention for my chanter, too to not use invocations. Awesome discoveries you made, about Sanguine I wonder tho don't you need to get crit for it to proc?
  15. The fighter is pretty good for the type of build you are looking for. Just keep in mind that Dragon chant from the chanter and Sacred Immolation from the paladin do a lot more damage than a fighter will ever do and they are as sturdy as fighters and they don't really deal a lot less damage with the greatsword. If you are looking for maximum weapon damage and are not interested in passive Aoes I can recommend a barbarian.
  16. Afaik it doesn't work vs. Aoes. So no Dragon breath reflect but it works vs Cleansing Flame I think it is what Thaos uses. So if your reflex defense is high enough to only get grazed by him it will reflect.
  17. For some attacks like the phantoms somehow the +20 is also added to your deflection roll. I took coastal aumaua in my trio party and at the end of the day I don't think it's much worse than Orlan but Orlan is the better choice for solo.
