  1. I used the potion once, found it lacking and never used it again.
  2. I didn't use it, since I soloed I was quite packed with abilities, but I think in a party it can be quite useful.
  3. As long as you occasionally remain silent :D That is my favourite part about Goldpacts. Reminds me of the Dark Brotherhood assassinations in Skyrim.
  4. My last solo paladin was Goldpact, it is in itself a very strong order, because you are allowed to play cruel (Heritage Hill + Blood pool any1?) but you are not forced to play evil, you are basically allowed to do whatever the eff you want.
  5. Yeah it's funny how Skyrim still was super enjoyable even tho the skill system was utter garbage. That's why I don't mind it too much in Tyranny. Also I love how the game is restricting you to a party of 4, less micro.
  6. Even for a ranged cipher having 10 survival is not a bad thing because of accuraccy bonus 2, but if you want to use scrolls lore is fine, too. Didn't encounter the problem with the quicksave yet, does quicksave work for you if you press the icon?
  7. Boroer already does countless char builds, now he will also give us real life tutorials!
  8. I like that quite a few people see it similar to me, that it shouldn't be a micromanage fest, but also manageable and low maintenance. I also despise resting that's why I love ciphers as pellcasters. Awesome, that you also roll double ciphers I imagine it's fun times.
  9. Slightly ot I never take that talent, even tho it is probably quite good vs deathguards and Dragons, but other than that it's pretty useless.
  10. I can't wait for tyranny. Slightly sad leveling will have a Skyrimish feel, but the custom spells make up for that, oh boy they will.
  11. What is the most op party for your personal playstyle? For me 5 chars would be fixed, the 6th I'd probably not go with the strongest option there is. I'd go with my trio as a base, invincible paladin, Kana + GM. Then I would add a girlfriend for Kana a lady chanter, so he doesn't get lonely, just kidding I want to be able to cast both dragon slashed and damage shield at the same time, but I would still build him a gf. GM would get a boyfriend, so I a) can cast ally powers on each other and b) have two chances at building 90 focus at combat start for mindweb. (Also Echo muahahaha) As 6th char the strongest option would be priest but I hate priests. Druid would be awesome, because relentless facerollstorm, but then again my brain can't cope with 3 micro intensive chars. So I probably would take a barbarian for dat juicy damage.
  12. Hm, if you put it that way. Cast Disintegration first, then charm, then destroy the ads with your invincible dragon friend, build endless focus, cast Disintegrate, recharm. That is pretty cheap.
  13. If your tanks defenses are that crappy, yes. Also keep in mind, that you need to be close to the dragon for it to stick, even tho that might be not too hard.
  14. Thing is because of scrolls will is quite unimportant since you can just immune everything even without a priest. You can't immune stun and I don't think prone (not quite sure on prone). Also if you run a paladin you don't even need charm immune as long as his will is decent (For me it's the lowest attribute and still at 143 in combat) because you just knock your allies out of charm with SA + Aegis combo.
  15. Look at Kaylon's video where he does that bounty with a barb. No pulling and no spilitting. Just a good "splat". Yeah I saw that way back but I guess I remembered wrong. I don't summon too often, last time I did it was because GM died, so I'm not sure, but it should since it even works on enemies when charmed.
  16. So I just found Twin Sting, since this is my first time seeing this weapon I was quite awed at it. Unlocking doesn't seem to be too hard, haven't tried it yet tho. (Just went out of the game to see what the upgrades are) Being able to shoot two times without reload seems already op for my mindweb build, but also +3 focus on hit? Sign me up. :D
  17. Will is useless. I always stack Bear's and Body control and don't even bother with the rest, since you can raise reflex with Llengrath's potion.
  18. Well, any party with a cipher and tank is gonna stomp them by the power of mindweb alone, no cheese needed. Even if the party just consists of 2, tank + cipher, it's not gonna be that much harder than with my 3 chars. As long as the defenses of the pala are good enough to tank them the whole pary will get those.
  19. Oh ok I remembered there was at least some pulling involved with barb, but I might remember wrong and pulling doesn't equal splitting ofc.
  20. Athletics isn't that useful I always have it at 3, some scripted interactions need it higher but I get along without it. Survival is very important and I always aim for a 12 at least on my tank.
  21. Did this on the first try and my first time ever. GM got knocked out very quickly since she only build 77 focus, 3 too little for mindweb. Second Chance on Gwisk Glass allowed me to build my lacking focus and from than on it was a pretty standard fight, even tho I used Llengrath's potion on my paladin and Kana used Moonwell. I'd say a paladin can solo this without any splitting. (Didn't split with my trio either.)
  22. I always feel super cheap if I step slightly out of range from enemies and rest.
