  1. Did save-scumming like this definitely work for you? I've definitely just had 5+ consecutive wins through save scumming and yet no talent. Maybe it is bugged. Yes, it worked.
  2. Ah, didn't even think about that. Will have to make note of that, see if I can scrounge up 6 for the whole team. Sanguine Plate x2 and that Padded armor in the lighthouse are two easy ones at the start of act off the top of my head. You can find multiple Rugged Wilderness Hats as random loot, no need to duplicate...
  3. Respec and increase your dex/per... You can also reload each time you lose and save after each win...
  4. Defensive Combo Cipher with Defensive Mindweb and Silent Scream + low int defensive Paladin equiped with Ilfan Byrngar's Solace/Little Savior and another item with the Preservation enchantment (Ring of Thorns, He Carries Many Scars Helm, Rebel's Call, Malina's Boots,...). After casting Defensive Mindweb the cipher can keep the paladin stunned using Silent Scream. Because of the Preservation items all the party will get +70def/ref and +100for/will.
  5. You can equip your team with +2 survival items just when you rest, no need to have it equiped all the time.
  6. It lowers their resolve by 5 if I remember well.
  7. You hit with it a few times one of the members of your team. You compare the damage fom the logs with the health lost and you'll see everything adds perfectly.
  8. Yes that's how it works, wounds damage is only affected by might... You do 25% of your damage dealt over 5s (for 10int) or over 7.5s (for 20int).
  9. Int increases the length but not the damage of the wound.
  10. Personally I will try to get my hands on legendary enchantments as soon as possible in ch.2 and enjoy my power for the rest of the game...
  11. It's because Tall Grass has 10% Hit to Crit chance and with durgan enchantment it becomes 25%.
  12. When you steal the spells they can't be casted anymore by the enemy?
  13. The differences aren't never huge of course - they vary depending on buffs/enemies. You can always use the console to dupe them and try them first. Yes, the weapons I listed are the best just from a dps point of view. In the case of the cypher that dps doesn't mean also the best focus generator because of the wounds. That was the purpose of this thread, to share your point of view, because the best dps doesn't mean always the best weapon.
  14. Yes, Wounding stacks with itself. Persistence is the best dps ranged weapon for all classes, including rogues. Rogues however can sacrifice some dps for more utility (ie on crit effects). And personally I wouldn't bother with weapons with on crit effects on other class than rogue...
  15. Speaking of which, the description on this item is a bit convoluted. What does 25% of damage range mean exactly? It does nothing at all for the moment - it's on the bug list. But it's suposed to give you an aura which gives allies in range 25% dmg bonus, immunity to paralyze, etc... However it's not clear if it affects also the user of the gloves...
  16. The reason is the wounding enchantment. Let's take a simplistic example: Sabre does 16dmg (base) + 4dmg (lash) = 20dmg every 3s (2s if DW) Dagger does 11dmg (base) + 2.8dmg (lash) + 3.4dmg (wound) = 17.2dmg every 2s (1.4s if DW) The dagger does nearly the same damage as the sabre while swinging faster and being less affected by DR. Same with Persistence...
  17. Since the game is out for some time now and all items have been found, I think it would be interesting to discuss what items do you think are worth enchanting to legendary... Here are my choices: 1. shield - Little Savior - really no brainer here (if your main is a paladin the Worn Buckler works too and Eder keeps the superb Little Savior) 2. 1h weapon - Drawn in Spring - might not look like one, but it's another no brainer (if you look for pure dps forget sabres/axes and duplicate Drawn in Spring once it is legendary/durgan enchanted) 3. ranged weapon - Persistence - no brainer again... 4. 2h weapon - Tidefall wins even if we have more worthy candidates here - wounding and drain benefit the most from higher damage 5. armor - here I think it's hard to pick one - most unique armors have their slots wasted on useless enchantments and it really depends on the class you play; the most obvious are plate for tanks and robes for ranged dps; for melee dps it really depends on your play style...
  18. I don't understand either why they have to cheat their stats instead of making them 10lvls higher... The toughest bosses/enemies have stats like a legit lv25-30...
  19. Before WM2 I found at least one lv15 trap (in Galvino's house in the secret room with the carpet). For chest/door opening I don't know what the max is (considering that some have keys), but for them you can have up to +9 bonus (gloves, rest, lockpicks, scrolls).
  20. Not anymore, with the latest nerf it will be +12 deflection +23 other defenses (with Deep Faith) once Faith and Conviction will work again correctly...
  21. The speed works. With 2x durgan enchanted Rimecutters (and no armor recovery penalty) you have a very short recovery; with the buff the recovery disappears completely...
  22. You could also use the Lavender Wreath for that.
  23. Either you wear clothes, either some leather armor. You can always make a rogue and pick the talent that allows using your fists...
