  1. I seriously doubt grazing is a core component of their vision. I don't see a problem with trying something out and then changing or killing it if it doesn't work out. I also doubt the change happened solely based on player feedback.
  2. I was able to select a Bleak Walkers exclusive reply even though I was not a Paladin at all. I was playing a Fighter(Devout)/Thief(Trickster) Pale Elf.
  3. Would really love to see Ydwin as a full companion, even if she would have to switch places with any of the other new characters.
  4. I tried repeating the same steps on a female wood elf wizard companion that I created in the inn in Gilded Vale - stripping her, saving the game and reloading. She stayed visible. I also tried making a new game again and repeated the steps with Calisca and she did turn invisible again. So it could either be specific to that particular character or to characters with her appearance.
  5. Just got WM 1 & 2 today and started up PoE again after not having played it for a long time. I was planning to kill all the caravan people at the start of the game so I stripped Calisca and made a quicksave in case things went south. They did, so I reloaded the save and found that Calisca was nowhere to be seen. She was there, just invisible. She reappeared after a short while though, going into sneak mode also made her reappear but just giving her walk commands did not. Not a huge issue if she's the only character affected but it seems unlikely. I'll update when I've progressed further. I'm using the latest version (3.02). 6. Yeah, wizards were a lot more fun to play in the BG series than PoE. Sure, the PoE wizard is fine and a perfectly viable choice but that's about it. If magic is just as strong or viable as everything else then why bother becoming a wizard? The BG series where not very well balanced between classes at all and that's part of what made it fun and interesting for me, classes felt more unique and organic.
  7. I've only really tried out Aloth and Durance for more than a few minutes, as none of the NPCs really appealed to me. Durance, being a religious fanatic and lunatic, was certainly the most interesting out of those two, even though I despised him. Aloth was a pretty boring character and a wizard which is, for someone coming the BG series, a pretty disappointing class. So my vote goes to Aloth.
  8. I picked up the patient records from the small locked box in Riply's office. This was after all hell had broken loose, so she, herself, was no where to be seen but as soon as I picked up the records she sprung into existence and everyone who had died in the riot, guards and patients, suddenly appeared standing up and fully alive. Well except for not having any idle animations - everyone who had come back, including Riply, looked as if they had been frozen in time, but they where fully interactable, dialog working and all.
  9. I managed to fix it by removing all phrases from prepared chants, except the blank ones that couldn't be removed, and then dismissed the chanter and took her back into the party again. Now the blank entries are gone and everything is back to normal.
  10. Sorry if this has been reported already but I didn't see it anywhere. I have a bunch of blank entries in the B section of the list of prepared chants that I can't seem to get rid of. Also both B and C are titled "Chant 2" for some reason. I've never even added anything to C, myself, the phrases just appeared there suddenly. This happened right after I had dismissed my chanter at the inn, and temporarily taken in a newly created wizard that I made just so could learn a new lvl 1 spell. So I quickly dismissed the wizard again and took in my chanter but forgot to check something on the wizard so I repeated the process of dismissing and bringing back the chanter again. Also it seems like I'm unable to attach the screenshot I took. It's a 185KB jpg file, so I don't see the problem... Uploaded it here instead: http://imgur.com/ZzxdXs2
