Hey M. Rorie, can you give us a little hint as to what the second unannounced title is? Is it Aliens, or something else? If it's Aliens, then further speculation is meaningless.. J.

Does Icewind Dale exist in 4th edition of D&D? I heard only Sword Coast was saved from some big catastrophe. From the 4'ed Campaign Guide: Sword Coast Commerce along the Trade Way and other caravan routes binds the city-states of the Sword Coast. The coast itself is treacherous, featuring undersea reefs, rocky outcroppings, and a soft, mucky bottom that extends for miles in many areas. True ports are few and far between, a fact that makes the sheltered bay at the foot of Mount Waterdeep so precious. Its natural harbor has permitted Waterdeep, the City of Splendors, to grow into one of the shining jewels of the Sword Coast. Port cities north of Waterdeep didn

Well, they just announced FO, and Aliens has been announced for a long time, so the unannounced project has to be something else.. no? iwd3.. ? J.

Not government run booze shops, but a chain-store called Vinmonopolet.. (loosely translated, the wine-monopoly). Silly stuff. And yes, 9,6 dollars for a glass of beer is restaurant-prices. Of course you'll find cheaper pubs, but nothing below 5,5 dollars I think. Average nightclub price is pretty much 7 US-dollars a pint. Anyway, if you wanna live the good life, you'll have to go to Copenhagen.. J.

I can only assume you were trying to say something but your mouth was clogged with undiscovered deposits of oil. maybe it is seal blubber 'stead o' oil. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/1639801.stm oddly enough, it would seem that in 2004/2005 norway went ahead with their dubious plans, and now all o' you aspiring seal clubbers can goes to norway for holiday. huzzah! have always been fascinated by the generalizations 'bout America and Americans we sees bandied 'bout by european and asians. Americans is fat, lazy and stoopid... and America is some kinda evil world tyrant-wannabe out to protect its oil interests. such notions is very simple and convenient, and is resilient beyond all imagining. having spent time teaching and studying in europe, we were surprised to find that the euro college students we met weren't any smarter than their counterparts across the pond. what really amazed us were the fact that our euro students and colleagues, after some considerable time, were able to disabuse themselves of the notion that Gromnir were fat, lazy and stoopid, but they never seemed to be able to take next step and shake off the preconception that Americans in general was fat, lazy and stoopid. our existence somehow became for them the exception that proved the rule. for folks who not know and don't wish to learn, it is far more comfortable to embrace a simplistic pov. perhaps a cultural anthropologist could explain better-- some primitive blames floods and changes of seasons and plagues on God/Gods 'cause such an explanation is convenient and ultimately unassailable. 'course the modern primitive is too sophisticated to believe in God, so he instead blames evils on America and its lust for oil. will be amusing if junai gets offended by our hasty generalizations. HA! Good Fun! Norski nincompoop will always be your loyal whipping boy.. Basically deleted my post because I started to sound like a broken record (go figure). Anyway, I'm not blaming the US alone for the situation in Somalia. Some pretty prominent italian newspapers were pretty wired a few yrs ago when they discovered that the mafia was well paid for dumping hospital- and nuclear waste off the coast of Somalia, rustic barrels of pure poison which washed up on the shores after the tsunami. Pretty fsckig disgusting. People walk around with bleeding mouths and radiation sickness. Last year, 700 freighters were fishing illegaly in Somali waters, cutting the locals' nets, pushing the Somalis away. Pirates?.. heh, Sid Meier should make a new game. It's just sad. Really.. really sad. J.

Men lite lol.. In Norway there are bus-companies specializing in Sweden-shopping-tours. People go to Sweden to buy alcohol because it's insanely cheap. Oslo harbour - 9,6 US dollars for a 0,4 litre glass of beer. That's less than a pint. That's not uncommon at all. So there ya go on that one.. J.

The testimonies of the people I mentioned previously pretty much speak for themselves. Whether I'm sane or not doesn't even enter into it. Oh, and I guess we should stay on topic.. Three times hurrah for the captain. The pirates want revenge. I guess the US marines got a job now. J.

I'm not talking about conspiracy theorists. More and more people with first hand experience of what's going on are coming out and talking about their lives. Especially after 9/11. Check out John Perkins and Aaron Russo to start with. Heck, even the Rothschilds and Rockefellers themselves partially admit that they're into coercive population control (basically; genocide) in Africa through messing with water management etc. They like to think of themselves as humanitarians, regulating the population of the world for the benefit of mankind. Of course, if you wanna stick your head in the sand.. If you move your eyes away from cnn.com for just a second and dare to try something new, you can start by checking out sites like this: Thursday 25 January 2007 by Wanjohi Kabukuru (a Nairobi-based freelance journalist), http://www.alterinter.org/ "Four US oil companies, namely Conoco, Chevron, Amoco and Philips have concessions in nearly two thirds of Somalia. This quartet of oil conglomerates was granted these contracts in the final days of Somalia

Wake up kid. The warships aren't there to save the world. They ain't laying pipes in Afghanistan to help the Afghanis build a new country either. You may of course choose to believe that, if it's too hard for you to face the truth. Start out with this one.. a little something to warm you up. J.

Some World Bank d00d finds oil. Send in a few economic hitmen and a handful of CIA-agenst, and create chaos. Get the local idiots somewhat organized, tell them to hunt freighters for a few weeks to get media attention. Hijack a WFP ship full of food'n supplies. Have the warships stand by quietly while the hostage is killed. People start screaming for US military presence. Move in and a take charge. "Restore peace". Grab the l00t with the support of a distracted and deceived public. A.... B... C.. You're.. being.... duped.. . . . again. J.

Dead or Alive - You spin me round Corey Hart - Sunglasses at Night Duran Duran - Hungry like the Wolf And.. I always wanted to blast someone to pieces while listening to "I know what boys like" by The Waitresses.. It just keeps going and going. Amazingly annoying. It'll go perfect with gunfire. Just let me blast the stereo at the end. J.

Don't worry. You'll get to choose between human mage, dwarven fighter, and elven archer. When you depress the controller X-button, the mobile will shoot and attack continuously. You don't have to think, just point your avatar towards what's coming and depress the button. Every 30 seconds your guy will shout "for ferelden!". Everytime he gains a level he'll do the same. There's 10 levels. After that you'll meet Sauron. It'll be cool dude, just grab a few beers, sit down with some friends and hack away at each other. If they get bored you can always insert the EA-Soccer dvd instead. Cheers d00d.. J.

How about making a storyline where you don't save the Galaxy, but try survive a family feud for instance. They could portray characters from different families and lineages, old grumpy matriarchs, young brash fools, ostracized family members, family black sheeps allying with other organizations etc. Plenty of room for Shakespearian drama, personal tragedies etc. They could draw on old norse or greek sagas. The "blond elf with british dialect stands against the Orc-hoarde"- story is such a cliche. For me it's a complete turn-off, and an insult. And then they hit us with that girly Gaider-novel as well. Sheez. I've seen some excerpts, and it was quite embarrassing stuff imho. With the budgets they have you should think they could procure some talent at least, no? Almost tempted to torrent the entire thing on release day.. lolz. D.

Reviewers? A good reviewer has the nuts to tell the truth, namely that NWN2 was an uninspired slam-dunk high-school project, and that Dragon Age's story about heroic elflings who save the world from evil monsters isn't original, dark or mature at all, just pure.. shizzle. Oh, and IWD1 is the best game ever. Anything else? J.
-
True, it's outdated, but so is the Infinity Engine, and people still play with it. Of course if it's difficult to work with, it's pointless..
-
I guess I shouldn't go OT and turn this into another NWN1 vs. 2 discussion. We've had enough of those already. I wonder if they're ever gonna use the Mystary -engine for anything. If not, maybe they could sell it online for modding purposes. I'm sure lots of people, IE-engine fans, would love to get their hands on it and play with it before it disappears in history. Maybe we could ask the devs what's happening with it. Other than that, cheers to the BG1-remakers. I'm sure they'll have a good time. J.
-
Why are the games I loved (BG) and the ones I waited for (TBH) remade with the crappiest engine ever made (NWN2)? It's like putting BBQ-sauce on my icecream. Fsckers should be beaten with a baseballbat. J.
