  1. Oh no, some nobody on the internet is dissapointed in me, im going to go away and reevaluate my life... Good answer.
  2. That's one of the few situations in which the downloading of a no-CD fix is legal, isn't it?
  3. Disturbed - The Night, from Disturbed's new album, "Indestructable". Dependable hard-rock that's very good at fist-pumping. They've come a long way since their nu-metal days.
  4. Most of my favourites have already been named (Sam and Fuzzy, Looking For Group, Gunnerkrigg Court, Goblins) but my absolute favourite is Instant Classic: Prologue. It's a pretty short read, numbering only a 100 pages. There are more stories by the creator, but this is the only one he's finished and I suspect the only one he will finish, although he has recently started a "return to form" comic which is much like this.
  5. I think Kreia was just Kreia. However, in the end game she seems to have taken on the guise of a Sith Lord so she could test you against her waves and waves of Sith, not to mention Sion.
  6. Thanks, I nearly flipped out when I read this topic title. I mean, not that this is any better, but that just strikes closer to home, y'know?
  7. Wait, wasn't the whole Jedi Split caused by Revan NOT having the Jedi Order's support in the first place? Also, the Sith Triumverate were remnants that banded together after the Sith fell apart without Revan or Malak's leadership, right? Doesn't that imply that Revan and Malak were more powerful than these Sith?
  8. Judging by how much stronger the Exile's Force Bond is with Kreia and her lying nature, I just assumed she created this Force Bond herself as a means to make the Exile feel the force through her. However, as far as I can tell Kreia didn't know why or how the Exile was cut off. As I can remember that was her whole motivation for her "game of dejarik" in the first place ("Now I know why... you were afraid..." after you confront the Jedi Masters). Of course, I bet others with much better memory than myself will probably know the truth of this all.
  9. I'm pretty sure that's someone interpreting the game in a way it wasn't meant to be. If I remember correctly it was Kreia and Kreia alone. At final convo, she says something like this (not the exact words) "perhaps it was a mistake to make you feel the Force again", basically admitting to reconnecting you forcefully.
  10. What really bakes my noodle in this case is whether or not the Exile would be able to draw strength FROM Revan.
  11. Revan and Exile are seemingly opposites, aren't they? Like staring into the Force and staring into the Death of the Force. I can't wait to see what happens when they meet, but I don't know what would win.
  12. So their stuff is good? I better check it out then. I really like their single A-Punk, but they had the air of a one-hit-wonder about them. EDIT: Wow, I must be really tired, otherwise I wouldn't have replied to a post that is on a completely different page without using a quote. For clarification: I am talking about Vampire Weekend.

  14. Oh, it gets better. It's written by the guys who wrote CATWOMAN and directed by the guy who did CHARLIE'S ANGELS.
  15. This is trufax. Christian Bale can be a good anything, really. I think Christian Bale would make a pretty good Carth. Or a pretty good Atton. Possibly even a pretty good Canderous. Or a pretty good Malak. A pretty good Bao-Dur, maybe. Oh! Or he could voice T-3!
  16. I believe you have to talk to Bao-Dur on the Ebon Hawk rather than in your party, but I might be wrong.
  17. True enough, I suppose. I personally only like Last Crusade marginally better than Temple of Doom, mostly because it goes out of its way and attempts to recreate some of the magic from the first, mostly by playing it too safe.
  18. How odd that it's the lack of balance between comedy and darkness that makes me think of it as worse than the other two. It felt like two movies smushed together, one dark and scary, the other lighthearted and funny. Also, the three leads had okay chemistry I guess, but two of those leads were very annoying. They were nothing compared to the joyous giant Sallah and ESPECIALLY Karen Allen's can't-bring-me-down Marion Ravenwood (as opposed to Willie Scott the shrieking drama queen). And how does Mola Ram compare to Tot and Belloque? To each his own, I guess. But the biggest reason as to why all other Jones movies are leagues behind the original Raiders is the amount of successes Indy has in them. Oddly enough, THE strength of Raiders is how inconsequential Jones is to whatever happens. Right at the beginning it's established that Indy is a failure - he loses the Idol to his mortal enemy! It's basically a series of cliffhangers which leave the hero worse off than he was before. What movie hero is bad enough to let that happen to him? Yet, because he tries so hard, you can't help but root for him. In the other movies I'm never rooting for Indy, which is a shame because he's the main character. In Temple of Doom I wasn't rooting for anyone because nobody was interesting enough. In Last Crusade I was rooting for Sean Connery. And in the new one I was actually rooting for the villainess! It's quite a feat to have an audience rooting for an action hero, and only Raiders manages this. (For the record, I never got to see any Indy movie in theaters until the new one came out). EDIT: Also, I think Raiders freshness might have had quite a bit to do with ad-libbing, whereas the others are obviously scripted. The famous scene where Indy just shoots the guy who does fancy sword moves was ad-libbed, for example.
  19. CGI in Temple of Doom? I see a lot of superimposing, stunt doubles, fast cuts, stop-motion and all kinds of other special effects, but definately not Computer Generated Imagery.
  20. No it wasn't. It was parts of two good movies that should never be mixed smushed into one whole.
  21. Out of these I like Telos the least, mostly for Citadel Station. That place bores me. I don't hate it though. My favourite out of these is definately Nar Shaddaa, which feels so Star Wars for me. I also like Peragus II very much, very survival horror-ish.
  22. Oddly enough, I answered four things. Yes, Ill probably get it No, my PC isnt good enough No, I cant afford it No, I will download a pirated copy for free Right now, my PC isn't good enough and I can't afford to just buy games I haven't played myself. So I will probably upgrade my PC (which will happen anyway), get a pirated copy to try it out (unless they bring out a demo) and if I like it, I'll buy it. This approach has worked out so far.
  23. Well, I know it's Spielberg's style, but he's done it so often and he's done just as well without them.
