  1. Took a break from everything and spent most of the day playing friggin' Zoo Tycoon. Why are useless games always so addictive?
  2. There is no credit to give. If you need damn near every player to create your defense, that's not exactly what I would call organized or competent, just bloated. It's basically going out of your way and showing the world what's wrong with football in the first place because they had a chance to win a game they didn't even play.
  3. Spain won on penalties, but they would have won anyway if Italy hadn't closed off it's defense so anally. It wasn't about playing football anymore, it was just about not letting the other party play football.

  6. I liked this movie. It was predictable at times, but unpredictable at enough times to keep you unsure of if what you predicted was right. 1408 was better though.
  7. I'm not sure I would call people like Huntelaar, Vennegoor-of-Hesselink or Affelay small names.
  8. Nope. We won, and pretty convincingly if I may say so. 2-0. It was a good game, the other countries Bondscoaches must be green with envy about the amount of choice and talent Van Basten has for his A-List.
  9. RIP STAN WINSTON, he was a true Hollywood wizard.
  10. Yeah, I've been fearing this for a while now. The standouts are often fated to be taken out by an unremarkable team by simple accident.
  11. Just a little something I made in celebration.
  12. Not sure how to proceed with this since I can't find a "report" button at the PM menu, but I just got this weird PM from a member named blessing... "Hello my dear; how re u?; and how things over there hope all is well with u i am miss blessing eyadema a 23yrs old girl from Republic of Togo resided in dakar Senegal dear i saw ur profile and want know more about u. you can contact me at (blessingeyadema@yahoo.com) so that i will send u my picture and explain myself more to you." Do I report this? If so, how?
  13. I love this movie. It's a hilarious commentary on the glorification of military power. The sequel sucked though. And I won't even touch the apparent third movie with a ten foot pole.
  14. See, that's all well and good, you're saying you hate the music I listen to. That's not what happens on music forums with fanatics. They would have accused me of being a fascist by now or something equally insulting. EElS - Friendly Ghost
  15. Disturbed - The Night You know, I hate music-based forums. I get a lot of flak on them because one moment I'll be listening to a highly regarded cult artist like Mark Lanegan or Sufjan Stevens, only to switch around to an utterly mainstream rockband like Disturbed or Godsmack. People on music forums like to judge you based on your musical tastes. So annoying.
  16. Consolation goal rendered completely useless. 4-1. I feel kinda bad for Russia. They redeem themselves a bit and then BAM, right back into the gutter.
  17. That WAS a surprise. Honestly, faith in our team was at an all-time low. Go Holland! I watched the game in a pub and before the first goal was scored we were singing "we want Huntelaar". (After that it became more ridiculous like "Go back to your Pizza Hut") Hehe. Some dutch people still haven't forgiven the Portugese. I'm sure the same is true on the other side. No one was innocent in that game. Well, except maybe the guy who got ninjakicked in the head. I remember the forums getting just as nasty as the game though. He doesn't get enough recognition anymore because we've come to expect it from him, he's just that good. As far as I'm concerned he's a legendary player. Also, a nice surprise to see Boulahrouz, as I thought he was cut from the team (which I thought was a shame). He's the only dutch defender who comes anywhere close to the now retired Jaap Stam (though he lacks Stam's intimidation factor). EDIT: So apparently Russia's getting it's ass kicked. I was hoping for another miraculous Guus Hiddink team, but I guess one coach can only perform so many miracles.
  18. This has probably been posted dozens of times before, but it is still the best commercial ever:
  19. We are not talking about the entire first disk, only an exe. that has been modified so you no longer require the disc to play. Also, I believe it is legal to download a pirated copy of a game if you have bought a legitimate copy, as it is the equivalent of your "back-up copy." EDIT: Yeah, you might want to spit these messages into another topic. Yeah, downloading if you own the original product is not a crime, however uploading is. And if I remember correctly downloading some things is legal if you remove it after 24 hours or some such. Don't quite remember how that worked though, but I remember that's how many people won RIAA and MPAA lawsuits.
  20. I actually suspect that due to the Exile being what she is, she is the only one who is in fact capable of defeating Revan. I also suspect that the same is true the other way around - Revan being the only one capable of defeating the Exile. However, since Revan has shown himself to be, among other things, incredibly smart and a master tactician, I suspect Revan would win during their first scuffle at least.
  21. I'm definately pro-Holland because... well, this is the only thing worth for me to feel patriotic about anyway. Our country sucks at just about everything, but at least here I can pretend I'm proud of my country. They're going to suck it down, though. In the same pool as Italy and France?
  22. Oh no, some nobody on the internet is dissapointed in me, im going to go away and reevaluate my life... Good answer.
  23. That's one of the few situations in which the downloading of a no-CD fix is legal, isn't it?
  24. Disturbed - The Night, from Disturbed's new album, "Indestructable". Dependable hard-rock that's very good at fist-pumping. They've come a long way since their nu-metal days.
  25. Most of my favourites have already been named (Sam and Fuzzy, Looking For Group, Gunnerkrigg Court, Goblins) but my absolute favourite is Instant Classic: Prologue. It's a pretty short read, numbering only a 100 pages. There are more stories by the creator, but this is the only one he's finished and I suspect the only one he will finish, although he has recently started a "return to form" comic which is much like this.
