I think having Revan male and Exile female could allow for the option of a possible romance between the two PCs. Now who wouldn't want that?

Kreia's a wounded bat at the end. Sion cut off her left hand and the Exile cut off her right... She's physically defenseless when the three lightsabers attack the Exile

Then you could never use pronouns when talking about Revan. It would always be "Revan stabbed him and then Revan ran" instead of "Revan stabbed him and then he ran"
