  1. Would love to see custom locations, henchmen AND villains in Quest Mode! If I remember correctly, the dev's said they have big plans for Quest Mode down the road and maybe this is included? I know they have much more to deal with at the moment, so I know there won't be anything anytime soon, but hopefully it is still a possibility in the future. I have been playing Quest Mode a TON (at least 200 scenarios with various party combinations) and still really enjoying it (have never even gotten a group to level 20 yet ... I like to restart a lot, apparently).
  2. If the card disappears, it is actually still there, just invisible! If you drag from the empty spot where it was, it will reappear.
  3. If I am not mistaken, Crossbow's (Light or Heavy) can only be discarded to help a character at another location (adds a 1d4)?
  4. You might want to check out the first "Pinned" post on this page "Comprehensive video explanation of the rules".
  5. I have three parties in Story Mode. A three character party on Normal difficulty, a four character party on Heroic difficulty and a four character party on Legendary difficulty. Only the Normal difficulty party is through AD3, The other two are in the process of completing AD3. I also have four "Teams" I use in Quest mode and keep track of their stats as they "compete" against one another. All of the Quest Mode parties are on Legendary difficulty. I have had a great time with both modes and am really looking forward to additional content. I am very curious to see what they ultimately do with Quest Mode.
  6. I have seen this power in Legendary Quest Mode pop up many times, but it is never actually implemented during the scenario.
  7. Tap on the locked Weapon/Spell and it will do the Wisdom check. If you pass, you can use the Weapon or Spell.
  8. When I start Quest Mode on Legendary, sometimes I get a "During This Scenario" screen with the "When a Henchman is defeated, each character is dealt 1D4 damage". When this happens, I then get a message when I start the scenario "On Legendary difficulty, wildcard powers can be viewed in the effects panel". When I go to the effects panel, the During This Scenario is not displayed and the 1D4 damage after defeating a Henchman never goes into effect. Ipad4, iOS 8.4.1, PA 1.0.3.
  9. I have seen this, too (also before 1.0.3). It just appears to be a display bug. It doesn't apply the bonus.
  10. iPad 4, iOS 8.4.1, Quest Mode, PA Version 1.0.3 After closing General Store when items are generated and then it gives the character an item, the central display area goes black. Exited and "Continued" a few times but to no avail. Was forced to forfeit game. Hopefully screenshot uploaded.
  11. You are correct in that the Smiths will come up much more often (although the Smiths are an Ally and the Orb is an Item). You can "Salvage" cards from Treasure Chests that you think may be watering down your Vault.
  12. Nice find! Really hope this comes to pass as it would make Quest Mode that much more compelling.
  13. I am totally for number 3! It would be much easier this way.
  14. I would love this as well. It is a bit of a pain to manage Quest Mode parties.
  15. The parties aren't saved, but the individual characters are. Unfortunately you have to manually assemble the party before each restart of Quest Mode. I would much prefer if they did save the parties like they do in Story Mode.
  16. Seoni came across a Shadow which requires the "Magic" trait to defeat. Seoni uses her power "For your combat check, you may discard a card to roll your Arcane die + 1d6 (☐ +1) (☐ +2) with the Attack, Fire, and Magic traits. This counts as playing a spell." and defeats the Shadow (with the help of a Blessing). The Shadow was reshuffled into the deck instead being banished. It doesn't look like the "Magic" trait of the Power was applied.
  17. Story Mode is going along the Adventure Path (basically doing scenarios in progressive order for each Adventure). Quest Mode is doing randomly created scenarios that aren't linked. Quest Mode is currently not working correctly, but should be fixed soon.
  18. For now, the game is made for tablets and phones are not supported. I believe they are working on optimizing for phones.
  19. Pocket Tactics has a little more info and a couple new screenshots at: http://www.pockettactics.com/news/ios-news/blast-from-the-path-update-on-pathfinder-adventure-card-game/
  20. oh, indeed, I didn't expect everything at once. Just hoping they become available eventually. I don't expect them to all be out at once either, but hopefully they will come quick. I have the physical board game and play it solo, but having it on my ipad will be awesome! Really looking forward to the finished project.
  21. Glad to see at least a little info shared here and hoping for more. Still really looking forward to this!
  22. yes, but...the longer we wait, the more interest in this game will wane. especially as the third printed set is about to be released. ROTR is rapidly becoming ancient history. and this coming from one of the people most excited about this project. Do you really think interest in this game will wane, the longer it takes to make it? So, you would prefer that the game comes out now, only half finished with a multitude of bugs? I wonder what would hurt the game more... Yes, I also want to it be out and better now than later, but on the other hand I want it to run properly and that it gives me the game feeling I expect rather than a crappy beta test... (what a lot of other companies do!). I just hope, that RotR will be a success and that the other installments will follow faster than it took to create the core mechanics of the game. At least they don't have to create a new AI for each new setting. A large part of marketing is about timing. Yes, longer it takes to develop, the better the quality should be (though, not always), and time is certainly a factor there; however, the game itself also needs to be relevant at the time or the game WILL sell less, and generate less revenue, which in turn will affect their ability to make more games in this product line. That all said, I really don't want a rushed product, either, I just feel that more marketing would certainly help at least. I don't want a half-finished product pushed out the door, but I do want to know that this is still a priority, where it's at, transparency. The more, and better, marketing there is, the better received the game will be, and the more social buzz will perpetuate the product name. But, even without the ability to throw gobs of money at an app's marketing, they could still post something regularly on Facebook, or even here for that matter, and do 1000% better than they've being doing so far. I don't understand why asking for more information is in any way equated with 'hurting the game'. I agree with this as well. I would love to have more updated information as it adds to the hype about the game and would also draw more attention to it.
