  1. Oh yey, I meet the minimum requirements. Somehow my GPU is in the recommended specs. Hopefully they're not lies.
  2. Considering it's such an important event and triggers the ending of the game, I doubt you can change it. It's really awful too - There are so many missed opportunities for great C&C that simply get dumbed down to plot-required stupidity. This makes it insanely frustrating when playing through the game a second time, when you know all these points where the game should've let you act. If this game had proper C&C it'd be amazing, and it's a damn shame Bioware got lazy.

  4. Gotta be honest, the combat is a lot more fun - if a bit more silly - than DA:O, and it definitely has a lot more style to it.
  5. Doesn't each item have to respond individual to the physics system already in modern games? I thought that was kind of a requirement. Hell no, games are still very primitive with this. Plenty of things are "nailed down" and don't interact in any way with physics except as an obstacle. Even then it's usually not the objet itself but a hitbox placed there.
  6. Honestly this still looks really goddamn fun, I don't see how you could be disappointed in that trailer.
  7. I don't see the point in bombarding Lybia. If anything it'll just leave another crater-filled country with a massive power vacuum. Isn't this usually what causes terrorist activity? Removing a dictator still supported by a bunch of zealots sounds like a terrible idea.

  9. Although I remember to get through it you have to pass through a small canyon with giant statues to get to the Docks (or Gallows?) and that Darktown is built into those cliffs.
  10. You never got a complete bird's eye view of Kirkwall, and that bothers me - as of now I still have no idea what the entire city really looks like overall. The map hinted at something epic with enormous stairs and the like.
  11. Not a big fan of Foo Fighters, but Glee deserves all the hate it can get.
  12. You never played the first Deus Ex? Of course I did. Why would you assume that? PS: I will admit highlighting ladders is ridiculous.
  13. I don't get it - the highlighting is there so you know what you can pick up and what you can't. Makes perfect sense to me. Maybe if it wasn't as ''fat'' it'd at least look better. The engine obviously can't support every single object having full physics (or being pickup-able either). It was either lots of pretty scenes with highlighting for items you can use, or being able to pick up everything but the environnements being empty. This is a very minor thing, too.

  15. They talk a lot about Meredith pretty early in the game, they just don't show her properly or make her presence felt.
  16. Sooo, I've been seeing all these character models with their retarded giant floating shoulderpads, and they'd all look much better without them. Anybody know of a way to mod them out?
  17. I didn't mind the ending. It was just a bit underwhelming (and some things made very little sense, like Orsino ), otherwise it wasn't nearly as frustrating as KotOR 2's butchered ending.

  19. While I enjoy the combat (and I'm thinking of a few more interesting builds to try out), the encounter design has got to be the worst in any game I've played. Infinite enemies? Waves spawning right on top of you (sometimes just popping into existence)? Actually, ''waves'' are already a terrible idea. The combat starts to rely too much on AoE attacks, and at certain parts of the game I started wishing the game played like Diablo. Cut the enemy count in half (except maybe for Darkspawn encounters) and remove any semblance of waves for most encounters and you have some half-decent combat.

  21. The Qunari are easily the best part of this game, TBH.
  22. I'm pretty sure Virulent Walking bomb doesn't work.
