  1. They unlock more dialogue options and interrupts. If you stay neutral you basically haave 0 charisma and will definitely lose a few party member's trust.
  2. ... really? Nobody else thought the fact that there were zombies ruined any drama in the trailer? Dead Rising, Dead Space, Walking Dead, Dead Island, Left 4 Dead, can we stop making zombie franchises please? They're not getting any less silly.

  7. What he said. I couldn't agree more. KotOR 2 might have been unfinished but even then it's miles ahead any Bioware game in terms of story and character.
  8. HK-47 in KotOR 1 was one big joke that wasn't all that funny. In KotOR 2 he actually has some interesting discussions about the story/characters and other themes that get talked about a lot in this game. As for Kreia... ugh, I'm not starting this argument. She's more complex and interesting than the entire cast of KotOR 1 IMO. EDIT: Visas was cringe-worthy, I agree.
  9. such a tease! Bio is good at writing dialogue but sometimes they have a brain fart and write some seriously retarded things. TBH anything uttered by Shepherd in ME2 is pretty much an example of bad Bio dialogue while Mordin and Legion had some good lines.
  10. The tactics thing was a wonderful inclusion. In fact, assuming the tactics actually work, then the game devs DID handle it. Unless you're implying that the characters should always behave in some other predefined way with no influence over how it works is somehow a positive :S I'm just saying the basic AI was awful, unlike say, ME2 where Squad Power Usage was actually okay. I liked that tactics too, but creating your own AI shouldn't be necessary while playing on difficulties other than the hardest one (difficulty was another problem DA1 had, it was far from constant).
  11. They're talking about dwarf sex, I bet. Well they're wondering if Isabella is into lesbianism and anal. Also there was a wave of "I NEED MORE MORRIGAN PLEASE". Ugh, this combat just looks bad. He runs around with ranged characters while the others just whack at the enemies or perform some basic AI routines. Pausing the game honestly breaks the flow of combat and the whole thing is just one big cluster****. Either stay with classic BG gameplay or go entirely action, Bioware. There is no good middle ground. EDIT: Blood still sprays everywhere and stays in cutscenes. Looks retarded as usual. How can someone possibly have light conversations like this when covered head to toe in blood? EDIT: Tactics are back. Guess we still have to make the AI ourselves instead of, you know, the game dev handling it. Control is nice, but having us finish your game is annoying.
  12. Wow, this live chat... it's disturbing. Bioware fanboys are starting to scare me. Voice acting for FemHawke sounds a bit off. It's like a bad english accent. Combat looks weird. It's not clear what he's controlling and what's automatic. Not to mention 4 guys grouping around an enemy and just autoattacking isn't exactly exciting gameplay. Soundtrack's just plain generic. Nothing noteworthy about it, which means it's about the same quality as DA1's soundtrack. Too bad.

  14. BFBC2 either had 32 player battles or 64, I can't remember. Either way, this isn't all that huge. BFBC2 already does this.
  15. I honestly don't see how BF3 could be any different than Bad Company 2. At this point it feels like they've been remaking the same game in the same engine with the same weapons for years. Not that BFBC2 was bad, I loved it. I just don't see why BF3 sounds so exciting.
  16. The problem is BIO puts a lot of emphasis on romance in their games. It's very hard to avoid.
  17. Looks like Dragon Age except good. Kinda like The Witcher.
  18. It's not that kind of horror, but at least it's well done. Personally, I don't feel Dead Space is scary, just very stressful.
  19. Half my hotkeys were different revolvers. The others were all shotguns.
  20. The mouse wheel should've scrolled between weapons and there should have been a melee shortcut to switch to a melee weapon or at least give a quick knife/whatever strike.
  21. It's not bad, it's just that I don't really go crazy over mod compilations. The cybernetics part looks kinda bad to me, not really interested in that, but I *am* interested in the dynamic crosshair, which I've been unable to fine elsewhere.
