Yep, a few more hours in and the combat is already getting stale (same combos all the time, nothing particularly interesting about it), the characters and writing haven't gotten any better and I'm starting to get the eerie sensation that the entire game takes place in one city with two level designs (sand and white halls). But that's not possible, right? Surely Bio isn't this lazy?

I have something to admit, and I'm somewhat ashamed. I like the combat. And the game doesn't look half bad when you get used to it. Art style still blows. Also the premise is actually kinda interesting - Mages vs Templars. Sorry.

Watched Rango. Me and my girlfriend were the only ones in the theater so that was pretty fun. It was awesome, especially when showed up.

The Escapist has some of the worst reviews I've ever read, not only because of how overwhelmingly positive they are about everything but how terrible those video segments are. @Bioware: barren landscapes with no trees or foliage is not an art style, it's just ugly.

I definitely do not want to see Garrus naked but he's the only one one who has shown interest so far. Garrus is the most tolerable romance in the game. He also doesn't get naked, but here's what he'd look like if he did.

That BF3 trailer honestly did not look impressive or interesting in any way.

They resize after being downloaded but actually downloading them takes ages. Most LPs I see use a 640x480 or 800x600 resolution, but in those the game is played that resolution and I think the text scales. Widescreen is never really necessary either. I was viewing these on a smaller laptop, though, might've just been the screen size.

There is absolutely no reason your images should be this huge. Small resolutions for LPs work much better.

I really want to know what you're using. I've added a few things (and tried to force ambient occlusion through the nvidia control panel - doesn't work) but it doesn't look anywhere near that good.

How much do you want to bet the it will get golden reviews praising every single aspect of the game no matter how bad it (maybe) is? I'll be happily skipping this one. Looks like it has way too much Bio fanservice.

Isn't VATS pretty much useless in New Vegas? I know I don't use it and just play it like a first person shooter and it's a lot more fun. I could never play it turn-based that's for sure.

The same could be said about "ancient evil/empire" (Kotor/ME/any Sci-fi or fantasy game), "Alien Invasions", "Apocalypse - post and pre" etc etc? Maybe I've just been spoiled with Dead Rising 2 and other much less serious zombie games.

Sad, but some part of me hopes this means the end of overpriced Apple products that don't do anything particularly well. ... it really is a shame, though. The man isn't exactly evil.

I just hate how they try to add drama in a game with freaking zombies.
