  1. i wonder if lucas will be more amiable about time constraints this time...
  2. buddy you just gave me a geekasm. Thank you.
  3. normal people just become mean. Darksiders try to kill everyone and everything. their's a difference of magnitude but that's about it... Here's a quick question. How are you able to run through a training academy killing poor diffenceless sith and not get a single darkside point in kotor 1 when anakin did the same thing and got about 200 of the things?????????
  4. this be from one of the other quizzes Count Dooku: The Traitor Luke Skywalker 83% Count Dooku 83% Random Jedi 79% Anakin Skywalker 79% Darth Vader 79% Darth Maul 71% Mace Windu 63% Obi-Wan Kenobi 54% Qui-Gon Jinn 50% Master Yoda 46% Darth Sidious 25% the quiz is what force user are you
  5. I got post Quigon Obi You are most like Obi-Wan Kenobi, after the death of his master. You have a powerful prescence and take the natural role of a leader. You respect the wisdom of those to come before you and are always training for personal growth. You now train the lightsaber form Soresu, a near completely defensive form, after witnessing what you considered a fatal flaw in your master\'s technique when he fell to Darth Maul. Your offense is carefully precise. You devote your life to harmony achieved through The Force and are one of four Jedi to retain identity after death. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Post Death of Qui-Gon Jinn) 89% Darth Revan 82% Anakin Skywalker 79% Obi-Wan Kenobi (Pre Death of Qui-Gon Jinn) 71% Luke Skywalker 71% Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus 68% Mace Windu 68% Exar Kun 68% Bastila Shan 57% Yoda 54% Darth Vader 54% Qui-Gon Jinn 50% Darth Sidious 43% Darth Maul 39%
  6. there were only two different races involved ever. Katarr, and Echani. unless you count humans from attonlove and desple mucus.
  7. well it worked wonders for centuries until the fairer sex decided to make city's for secuity while being layed up having kids. I personally thing that pressing my mucus membrane against another's in a purely meatbag fashion is kinda fun (yay HK)
  8. Uh, why? Revan might have been a great fighter, sure (she/he killed personally Yusanis to destabilize the Echani worlds, for example), but unstoppable? Hardly. If I am to believe what each and every NPC in both games go around and yap about all day, Revan's strength was manipulation, not combat. I'd guess that when it comes to the latter aspect, he/she wasn't all that special as modern-day Sith Lords go. Powerful? Sure. M-M-M-MONSTER KILL? I doubt it.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Revan' was mainly a manipulator in 2 in one he was known as the power behind the Sith war machine. I mean he was the ultimate statigest. His power was such that he wouldn't have been taken by the jedi until Malak pretty much destroyed him while he wan't paying attn. Ultimatly he was removed not eliminated. As he begins to recall his power it allows him to pick up on peoples emotions and do all the other stuff much better than the exile. He's also much more perceptive than mr exile if you believe everything you hear. He decided to wipe out all his least loyal troops in one go on Malachor 5. So i suppose that you would consider Reven to be the better general while Exile is the better Commander. Hand to hand? that's a toss up between the two.
  9. sings Peter parker was pitiful Couldn't get any shyer Nope and i don't think they would do somthing like that
  10. good point. But i just can't understand how sombody can become truly evil just because they feel like it. kinda like Anakin, Hmmmm my girlfriend might die and this dude is telling me a rumor that sombody might have been able to keep anyone alive.... hmmmmmmmmmmm i guess flawed logic works, ok i'm now evil ohhh and i get glowy eyes too sweet (w00t)
  11. Ahem I have now beaten the bejeesus out of you, you my girlfriend, Mate Now, oog
  12. methiks the tv series will fall apart after a few weeks, kinds like Birds of Prey did.
  13. well one would certainly hope so considering everything that we have bitched about on this forums since ive joined
  14. score one for Meta... hmmm i think i sould change my Avatar to Helios just to have fun.
  15. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm baby's give you super strength.
  16. I get that alot on board. specially after i get visas, I walk towards the ****pit and she goes for the cargo bay. Camera keeps backing out until the scene ends
  17. good point weapon. Especially considering you can save Bastilia at the end of #1. With bastilia around it's not like he's going to go dark. It's like having two supports on a bridge rather than one
  18. me thinks revan get's a bad rap compared to Exile, Exile becomes very powerful while revan is recovering his memory of how to become powerful. Once revan remeber's his full power he would be unstoppable.
  19. personally i felt that Nar shadda after a point, you became locked into the level. Also the fact your' not able to choose who helps and who doesn't later on is a major annoyance to me. It just felt too long and you got stuck in a static world. Nothing you did there seemed to make a difference on the world overall. Look at Onderon for example the ripples of what you do there expand throught the galaxy. At Nar Shadda the best thing that happens is you force a crime boss into the back row.
  20. oy reminds me ironicly of Deus Ex. Now that level of complexity in an rpg on the scale of kotor starts to care me. it would be cool but it would require a huge amount of space. Personally i would love to see the writers of deus ex give Kotor a try, we might be delightfully surprised.
  21. meta you are really starting to sound like daedalus. with the hope comment. I've learned that you can't trust Mag's because they are just trying to sell themselves. If Lucas were to tell us then i might actually start to believe it. I would certainly hope they kept it under tight wraps so we don't get a tiberian sun on our hads. (sorry westwood)
  22. well they didn't have many other alien skins built i guess. i mean think about it, there was the two alien(siamese maybe?) rodian mannan and ithorian.
  23. personally i think that they just had to power the thing up, then it imploded, you shut it off and it doesn't instantly explode because it has no reason too. And yeah i didn't like how you have to figure this out (took me 10 minutes but i'm a sw geek) but hey it's nice to know
  24. From what i can tell the Mass Shadow generator is basically a Interdictors Grav generators (from Tie fighter and about a dozen other games/books and anything starwars) hooked to a planet. What this did was cause the mass of the planet to increase geometricly and caused it to implode. (ever seen a marshmellow in a pressure chamber? you get the idea) What the remote did was trigger the mass shadow generator to reverse it's mass shadow so instead of an incredibly heavy object creating lots of gravity, it became immensly light, this is what caused the planet to explode. Upon explosion the planet would become a asteroid ring. Interdictors can use a similar tactic to the one above by reversing their gravity generators so instead of keeping somthing in place it goes flying the other way. Plays hell with onboard gravity though (X wing Wedges gamble) anyway if you have questions i probably have answers. Feel free to ask tho you probably won't get a response until afternoon PST (GMT -
  25. i know this is necroposting but i gotta say it. NAGA SHADOW DIDN'T DIE ON KORRIBON, NOR WAS HE BURIED THERE. He died at Yavin 4 trying to create the ultimate race. This info was used by Exar Kun to modify a race that shadow created into Force masters for the sith war.
