I really need to start getting the news again... I've been blissfully unaware about this because I've been playing COH... Appearently I look like superman... There haven't been any good riots in amerika recently. sombody start one.

Well, for starters, I've played both Fallout and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.. Or Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.. Or Wasteland compared to.. whatever. Or Deus Ex compared to.. uh.. the Deus Ex on Playstation 2. I don't think it's nostalgia talking. Games used to require brains (Bard's Tale 3 comes to mind..) instead of mostly tactics (turn based) or quick fingers (twitch). I really miss the games that tested your wit and problem solving skills too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't forget Invisible war. I could never get past a certain point on Tensai, my little half demon boy kept dying... but the game is a mind screwer. Haven't tried the second one, and in Xenosaga II I'm stuck within the last area (I seem to do that alot in my games.)

Any of you at a Liberal Arts college or know sombody who is in a liberal arts college, be it staff or student, I've got a paper due in english that requires me to have correspondance with two people from the same college and it would be nice if I had somewhere to start.

I fly to NY ever year or so for family (I'm on the other coast so it takes a very long while) I used to play Kirby's Dreamland. I would be able to beat it in about 2hrs then get the special hard mode, and I figured out the button combonation on my old gameboy (the brick type) to get a screen where I could modify my health and the # of lives I had.

people loved it because FPS used to be the domain of the PC only crowd who were utter nerds (admit it we all are!) when halo came out the portion of the population who could scrape together the money for the Box were able to get it and it was a pretty basic FPS so not much to confuse their minds. It does have a certain charm to it's story, but personally I think they should have just left it off at the end of one.
