Malkaivian is probably the funniest... they have some different lines (all the you talking to the npc lines are the same except for the Malk's)

Histories wern't actually put into the game, but if you crack open the console you can put one into play... I don't remember exactly how but you can. What they do is add stats and change things based on what history you chose.

One thing I've noticed (well not me but a roomie from college before I got booted) was that the Systems were set up usually so that menial tasks took as much XP/whatever to lvl up as the most complex task. Thus if you were the king Knitter of the world you couldn't fight worth crap. Then there are systems based on popular books/graphic novels. Marvel, for example, made a RPG with stats for all their characters. Problem was that if you took Daredevil for a spin you couldn't do the backflip, slide down a rail, hit a guy while flipping, and land perfectly. We tried it and DD fell during the first backflip couldn't get up and promply got turned into somthing like cottage cheese.

Do they explain the origin of Hamidon's massive lag field ? Simple, It requres a massive number of people to kill hamidon... and the lag is like what COV is right now. COV is going to be patched to tone down the lag and stability. Metzen is the one who wrote all the stories and did all the inital art for them. If you look in the back of the player manuals it'll say origional concept by Chris Metzen... Diablo was him and two other guys writing the story and script.. though he did do some of the art work. I think I remeber correctly that Warcraft and Starcraft are origionally his Ideas.

It's hamidon... and actually things can be pretty fun as you learn more about the world that this is set in... And with COV we actually have viable PvP stuff. Vivendi bought Blizzard over years ago. They are not 'taking' over, it's been done already. Didn't seem to affect them all that much (aside for Blizzard North wanting out). Vivendi would have to be out of their minds to screw up such a gold mine. It's not like Blizzard have ever been 'groundbraking' at anything to begin with... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Blizzard North was the lords of the gaming industry. With them gone the creative stuff is gone... along with Chris Metzen (the guy who created Warcraft Starcraft and Diablo.)

don't like WoW for a few reason most of which have to do with the fact that it's a son of a gun trying to organize 60 people for a Raid. I'm a COH geek and thus We have a max team size of 8 and our developers are much more active in game, they actually use their own "avatars" ingame as the icons of the universe. With Vivendi taking over blizzard I dont' think we will be seeing any more "groundbreaking" stuff. I'm willing to bet that they will try to move away from the cartoony War3 and get back to either 2d or somthing akin to Total Annihilation for Starcraft2. And Darque. don't worry. for some reason I'm able to remeber warcraft starcraft diablo and about a dozen other games histories.
