From what I've heard, if you like ALOT of PvE focused stuff and a good community and social contact try COH. WoW's community is a little less in the way of friendly and the game's map that it's on is BIG. It's also based around loot. GW is entirly instanced so it's good for those with slow net connections, not sure about the social stuff, haven't played it myself. But the guys in the COH community that I talk to said it gets lonly running around in your instances. Oh and if you only want to be a hero you get COH, only a villian COV if you want both you get both games and only play the same 15 dollers.

Freudian slip Calax , or just wishful thinking ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No just meaning I'd get into her backstory later... short version of that one is she's a genetic template that's "zero" point is Lana Langs body. All of her powers are telekenetic in nature. so she can change herself to anyone or anything and she can kick the crap out of you with the power of her mind.... then she melded her body with that of a real girl and became an angel... She's now got flaming wings and can shoot fire from her eyes

Terrans have two strategies. Turtle, or go all out with marines (I've done this... usually a group of 150 marines can wipe out a base pretty quick they loose most of their number but still... it's even faster if they have medics in their number)

yep... except it's got a 24 hr time limit, is limited by willpower, and you can't touch yellow. The first time Hal Jordan used it he was Iroically hit by a yellow table lamp when the bad guys tried to get away.

No... Nightwing has always been nightwing... he didn't need the help of the Animated series to change rolls. Harley was the convert from the animated series though. The Eradicator is my favorite entity in Superman anyway.

A good, but not as good as the orignial (No yaks, No greatness), Red Alert helped restore the good name of "Command & Conquer". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> only to have the name ruined by Generals

It had sephrioth as a boss... I was happy.

God Of War on Uber Extreme diff... TNMT 2 the arcade game (god I still can't get past the sewers) Dawn of War on the highest diff setting is psycotic to fight and of course the cheating civs in Civ3... I've never been one for patience. Oh and Gabs? the way to figure out which is the real Bhaal is by which one has the capitalized name in the target doodad.

Just picked this up in history class.... Jesus was a guy who was born to a family of middling means, he wan't born as Jesus, he was a jew, he was baptized by john with the name Jesus. He actually had some claim to royal lineage, and he was born in 3 BCE (or BC as those of you christians call it)

eh... before the 80's we gotta discount continuity. Yes he did appear there first but so did the Lex Luthor with the Purple Jumpsuit and Pink Rocket boots. That General Zod was stuck in the Phantom Zone anyway. Thus the Incarnation that appeared during the 80's was considered brand new (I think I haven't read that story line... it came out before I was born)

Kinda... he's got the "special" ring. His personal ring is encoded with his dna so only he can use it and it automatically comes back to him. It'll always have at least a reserve charge and otherwise it's normal. Jade's power is inherent in her body. She used to be a Lantern but Kyle used his powers as Ion to reignite her own internal power. Kyles' ring is operating at the same power as everyone elses (now). For a while he could tap the entirety of the powers of all gls... that's when he was Ion... Anyway here's a rundown of Kyle by costume. Origionally Kyle wore the normal Costume we saw in the Hal Jordan series. But His girlfriend at the time convinced him to make it more personal. He made up the one below. Almost immediatly after making this Major Force appeared killed Kyle's GF and stuffed her in the fridge. He went bezerk and nearly killed major force (this was in GL New Dawn) I can't find a good shot of Ion but it's not that big of a deal. Quick Rundown of the "power of Ion" arc. After an encounter with a subconcious construct built by the ring called oblivion Kyle began to tap massive amounts of power. He eventually learned that in the sun there was a titanic amount of power (pretty much all the power that had been commanded by the Guardians and all it's Lanterns). This power was the power that his ring had used in making his subconcious enemy real and those that had been in Parallax before Parallax had died lighting the sun up again. Kyle took those energies and became the right hand of god (proverbially). He was able to be anywhere at any time. He was able to travel through time... all sorts of insane stuff. He finially found his real dad and sorted things out. In the end he tosses his power and recreated the guardians and makes his costume and Ring again. (he also cut his hair). Thus we get this guy after the Power of Ion is over.

Brainiac is a Mechanical Entity... I don't quite know it's origin but it seems to have come from Krypton. General Zod is from the 80's, the supergirl that we know in the "main" DC universe is from here as well. They are both from a pocket universe where Superman is dead, Lex Luthor is a beneficial man who bestowed great power on that universes Lana Lang. Lana becomes supergirl. I'll get into her later... Back to Zod. Zod is one of three Kryptonian criminals that were ruining Supergirls pocket universe. The "real" Superman from the 80's shows up and promptly beats the crap out of all three over a long story arc. He also rescues the Supergirl and gives her to his parents. Anyway, Superman didn't know how to deal with Zod and his two cronies. He had removed their powers with a odd colored kryptonite, and thus they were as powerful as simple humans. From here superman thought he had only three choices... imprison them and worry about them getting their powers back on his earth which probably would kill him. Kill them. (I forget the third one.) He chose to kill them, the deaths he caused slowly started to unbalance him which was only exacerbated by an alien who cut out peoples brains and joined them in a psychic bond. I won't go into that right now. let's just say it looked like he killed a 237 of them. This caused him to go a little over the edge of sanity and he created a version of gangbuster (the real one was in the hospital) that was ruthless and very very painful... Imagine a batman with no problem killing/hurting people.. you got it? that's the gangbuster personality. So in '88/'89 or so Superman went into exile where he picked up the eradicator and he first met Mongul who destroyed Coast City which caused Hal Jordan to go insane and kill the Green Lantern Corp. Do you really want to hear about super girl now... I'm such a geek

I just made lvl 40 on my main Hero... I officially Pwnzored j0 Oerwende! Kidding Anyway my funnest thing was on my poor scrapper (19) I tanked against Dr. Vhalzok. Back when I played CS I was horrible because I didn't play it that much. usually I'd die about 5x as many times as I killed people. I was happy when I managed to kill five guys in one round by myself (I was the last one alive) and win the match... I was a total newb. Then there is always launching a 4 man carrier fleet in Brood Wars and making everyone drop because of the lag... that's always fun. 4 man being four players each maxed out in carriers and they all launch their interceptors :D

Well Hal Jordan has just made the return to human life. So now the Green Lantern Corp is Hal, John, Kyle and of course Guy

I also like 2 sets of manga... King of Hell (it's done by the guy who did "warcraft: sunwell trilogy") and Battle Angel Alita (yes I have the entire origional series and now have the 6 books of Lost Order) Alita messes with your brain more than Ghost in the shell but still manages to make it clear what's up. Ghost in the Shell I just get completly lost for the last 1/4 of the book. I like the new take on the Titans. They made Impulse less of an idiot and brought Raven back as a human. JLA has gotten to be an "eh" comic for me. Avengers is fun tho. And it has a heck of a lot of little laughs in it. And I also read the COH comic that you can get online. the first three issues were done by Mark Waid of "JLA year One" and "Kingdom Come" fame. the next three were by Troy Hickman from "Common Grounds". He's never won an Eisner (only because he lost to Gaiman the year he was put up for it), but he does quite good. Of course you should ALWAYS OBEY TROY HICKMANS PANTS!

Need to go out and get the PC version of Call of Duty 2...

Child you hate christmas... but you plan to be a priest.... I see a logical fallacy in that. You're supposed to revere Christmas because it's when Christ your savior was born...
