wolverine is like the school sl*t in terms of teaming.
  3. age of concent varies from state to state... but in terms of youth love theres a four year difference that needs to appear before it's considered statuatory. (ie 12 and 16 is fine but 20 and fifteen is not.

just read the House of M. It's really really wierd. Wolverine current team membership (ie which series he's a part of), Uncanny X-men the new age. Astonishing Xmen, Wolverine (ie solo/his own comic), and the new Avengers with Spiderman, Power Man (luke cage), Sentry, Cap, Iron Man, and Spider Woman.
  5. he was married to get readership back... this was during the period where things are dead. Also, this was when he lost his powers and went blue for a year or so.
  6. Empire at war... well there goes the next three days of life.
  7. there was a hugely publicized case in the 90's where a teacher slept with a student for most of his adolecent life... she had 2 kids with him and I think she got out and married him recently.
  8. just tossing a few cents in here... The reason nobody has been able to pull together a good game for Lovecraft and LOTR is because they have Limited abilities to what they can do. Also the main characters cannot be used because everyone knows exactly what's going to happen with them because the books explain it all removing the puzzle aspect. thus the devlopers usually try to just cram more "challenge" to the game by tossing more opponents at you. As to why Halo2 and Zelda outsell PS:T. Planetscape came out during a dead time for computer gaming. (you remember when it was considered wierd to be playing a computer game.) While halo and zelda are a simple FPS for a Xbox and a beloved franchise on a console respectivly. So one has all the semi wanna be geek jocks that play it while the other has the momentum of 20 years of fans behind it.
  9. it is... In the comics Superman has had some recent trouble marrige wise because he got the crap beaten out of him and Lana nursed him back to health and ended up leaving a pair of panties at clarks house.

ohhh House of M is good... kinda wierd but good... It ties up the fact that there are skillions of mutants... and reduces it to a small number... again.
  11. I am utterly appauled that I missed this thread... Greetings I am Calax, aka Comic Geek Dude (when paired with Oerwende we become CAPTAIN COMIC!) anyway... I bring the knowlege of... geekdom and the average comics to the table (like the Great Lakes AVENGERS! AWAY!) Spiderman: "awww my bootie has a hole in it" Powerman: "your what?" Spiderman: "my bootie... what do you call it?" Powerman: "a boot..."
  12. isn't alpha testing handled by the qa staff on hand for the company rather than the general public as it requires much more... delicate handling of the game and coding and it requires a much easier access to developers to fix the build? THe beta test isn't as wide spread as you might think. Personally if I was really interested in the game I'd not try to beta test (except as part of a stress test) because I'd be to obsessed with the good to say "this is broken this is broken and that makes my graphics card squeal like a pig when it 'splodes". For the average game Beta testers don't get above the 1000's if it's a single player game. If it's a MMO... then you get the stress test where any number of people are pushed to join the game to see if it works right with a skillion people in each zone. So to say the game was ruined by beta testing is wrong as generally unless your somthing of a pro you won't see the beta.
  13. from what I can tell the biggest of the mmo's always have the largest portion of "bnet kiddies" who basically say "stfu" to anyone asking for help then when finially bothered enough go and solo it for the other guy just to shut em up
  14. I never think "OMG Preodering!!!11". The only game that I have ever pre-ordered was Civ4. On the other hand I like the demo enough that I knew I was going to purchase this game. Probably not immediatly though as I have 10GB of C&C games to go through. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kane & Tanya Tiberian Silo Joseph D. Kucan (Kane) Good old Westwood <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that the origional tiberian silo from the origional game with updated graphics?
  15. ummm you scare me... very very much so... COH heroes have never beaten up kids, and in FF7 nobody rubbed themselves in the dead bodies of their opponents.
  16. oh dear... looks like good Capitan Amerika is going to get his own movie (won't be out until 2009 or so, don't go buying yourself a spot in the que line just yet)
  17. That doesn't make sense, or is incorrect. Please clarify. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I was saying that the graphics was better overhere because most of the devlopment is here...
  18. Diablo is a tired boring game... it's got little variety for my tastes (other than Phat Lewt!)
  19. "Be the board ... BE TOMBS! ..." I am one with the TOMBS ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Soon you will be one with the Force. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no... be one with the Chroma!

Nice. I wonder if they'll have any major PCs in cameo roles. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> depends... who's a major pc? Friggin' Taser would be one (he's my sg leader and he's one of the most recognized posters on the board) but who else?
  21. then they wouldn't even be a factor in the game because they wouldn't be able to use majik

one of the ladies from tsr who now runs Critical Hits is going to be producer of a Dragonlance movie and more importantly (to me) a COH animated series!
  23. In terms of graphics and hardware... I'm gonna say that america is the best in the industry because of the fact that most of the hardware developed is made in this country. In terms of free form gameplay... it's very hard to do because we as rpg players are more interested in the story BEHIND the game as compared to the way the game works... there are exceptions but those are few and far between. with free form gameplay you cannot have much of a story line because if the person really wanted too they could probably go to the very end and beat the entire game in under 2 hours. the closest thing to a free form game I've seen is Fallout and there you don't really have a full storyline. rather you have a goal and everything else is pointed to that goal (well... at least the part that I've seen). Other than that is Fable which has very little in the way of free form, you still do everything in sequence like normal the "free form" part of it is the so called ability to choose your direction. and even that doesn't do much because, if your bad, you drop a heap of cash and get good points. If your good you simply start beating the tar out of the town watch and maybe kill an innocent or two. or just sacrifice a guy to the evil god.

the seventies Xmen fans will be happy... Chris Claremont has returned to writing them. Uncanny Xmen is the one he's currently working on.
