I liked the way heroes were done in war 2. They weren't special with increasing stats or anything they were just copies of the current units but with better stats. Look at Starcraft. It had heroes and it didn't suck. Problem with war 3 is that if you don't focus on your hero early on your army gets smashed no matter what so the game benefits the very aggressive commanders. (I'm a turtle king)

you forget the second time that palpatine went up against Luke in DE he had Leia helping him. Also like I said before... palpatine was distracted in ROTJ.

nope... in DE Luke got demolished by Palpy. and the Crystal your thinking of is actually the holocron. but the holocron doesn't increase your power. It just teaches you good things.

and palpatine could creat storms that would eat entire fleets... He also beat Luke in a strait up saber fight. and Palpy killed three of the better jedi when they came to arrest him. Also you could say that the only reason palpatine was defeated was becasue he was distracted while controling EVERY SINGLE ONE of his troopers during Endor. (first two were from Dark Empire #'s 1 and 2 then ROTS then from the Thrawn Trilogy)

I made up catagory six because they haven't encountered those people yet and dispite what they want us to believe Jean in the movies isn't on the same level as phoenix and Apocolypse. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apocalypse's mutant power isn't really all that cool. He's just immortal. He absorbed all sorts of alien technology which is why he can rearrange his body and all that. I think he's still considered an Omega level mutant, since his powers are the same as Mr Immortal, and he's considered one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> from what i could tell his mutation is that he can forcefully mutate his own body (ie growing gills). But then i've not been around for the major arcs featuring him. And Surr was right. I was referring to the comic mythos rather than the wierd schizo version. Edit: and Proteus was able to go one on one with Phoenix and would have won without the rest of the Xmen. I'd rank him an omega level.

one of his versions does... he's got the ability to create another version of himself that he used to scout... it got blown up. I'm not entirly sure but I think it destroyed his psyche... but he's still around in the titans so...

yeah... theres' a bit of a power jump between levels 4 and 5. and I'm just going off the movies. because jean was the only level 5 that they had ever met.

Just picked up "our worlds at war" it's an ok story that leads into obsidian age. But it's got two young justice issues in it. and DANG are those funny! Wonder girl "Robin! Secret said DEATH is coming!" Arrowette "Yeah... On Skis!" Superboy "On skis? why not a surfboard while we're at it?" Robin" Lobo! Impulse! Plot an evasive course and execute! Wondergirl, on weapons! Superboy, take sensors! Secret, prepare to head outside for deep-space recon! Emperess, Monitor Energy levels! Cissie, Nice hairdo!" Then they have a cover that's impulse saying "They'll win this war my dead body!" then the other half of the cover is impulses gravestone with "That's Not FUNNY!" engraved on it.

In the comics, the overpowered mutants are classified as Omega-Level, these include Franklin Richards, Jean Grey, Bobby Drake(Yes, Iceman is in the same league as Jean Grey. Apparently if he felt like it he could freeze the entire world), etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's been shown that bobby can probably manipulate WATER rather than just ice. At one point Emma Frost gets put in his head and she takes bobbies ice form and melts herself into a puddle and uses an underground waterway to get outside the property.

I think psylocke was supposed to be the girl with arclight who went into the facility... as for the class of mutants? think of it this way class 1, you've got an extra toe Class 2, WHeeee you can fly/breath underwater. class 3, you've got a primary mutation that sucks more out of the person but has more of a bang. class 4. Magneto and Charles and prettymuch the entire cast of primary characters fit in here. Class 5 Oh sweet jesus run like heck because we ain't gonna survive to see the next dawn. Class 6, Phoenix (comics version (eats stars for breakfast)) and Externals, apocolypse... you get the idea

CORRECT! In every form of media Pyro wears a flamethrower to allow him to produce flames. Usually he's knocked from a fight by the flamethrower either being damaged or destroyed. I would have liked ANY Kitty/Colossus scenes. In this it was all about iceman and rogue. If they have another movie they BETTER have havok!

Xmen 3, "We slapped the Dark Phoenix saga onto the "Cure" story. GO US!" yes in the comics there actually was a cure story that used a mutant to figure it out. Only problem was that the mutant was Colossus... and it was by Joss Wheaton.
