Awesome Calax! You really need to get on Xbox Live so you can join the gang. You'd be better off swapping your m1911 with the m9. It uses the same 9mm rounds as the mp5, which combined with bandolier will give you an obscene number of rounds. I've got it for this *pats computer*, but the only time I yank out the 1911 is when I get taken down and last stand pops. it's really funny to watch a guy kill me and start to run off only to find himself dead because of last stand.

I think it'd designed so that you have a probable reason at the end of act one to go either way in your decision.

COD 4 Multiplayer, I've gotten onto hardcore servers and do really well when i've got a building to clear and an mp5 to do it with. Double tap is godly on hardcore as it only takes a quick pull of the trigger to take somebody down. My standard load is an mp5 silenced with a m1911 sidarm with bandolier double tap and last stand perks.

that might also be localization. I didn't notice those discrepancies in my enhanced edition. of course the thugs in the first act might be referring to shani rather than the other chick.

Ultramarines Omnibus by Graham McNeill interesting to say the least, it really grips you but the author likes to detach the stories so no real reoccuring characters are possible.

witcher contracts are always on a notice board. or given by the royal huntsman/vincent (for the giant monster hunts) I just got pissed because one of the missions you have to do later on in order to save the monster/person and break their curse you LITERALLY run around in a circle for 10 minutes so that the monster doesn't kill you while waiting for candles to go out.... GRRRAAAAAHHH!

FSW is certainly a different experiance than most other games. I beat it once along time ago and don't see the benefit of doing it again.

Reached act four in the witcher and can't seem to get the friendly priest to show up after I kill the guys who run him off.

I think the DRM is the crashing or its the disk because I would crash alot until I got a no cd crack for it. it's sad that we have to resort to having that but it's true.

my game did that several times and then refused to acknowledge that I had the cd in the drive so finially I threw up my hands and cracked it. Now it works perfectly go figure. Oh I just finished up playing a round of the witcher. Got all the way to act two romancing 3 ladies I think.... the barmaid the witch and triss. just started act two and am WISHING the ESRB wasn't so evil about nudity... this game is certainly more adult than others of it's ilk. I'm just trying to figure out how to forge a weapon assuming I have the mats.

My mom is a Junior College teacher and hates the union and I remember in highschool we had a union that was literally counting the minutes that they had to teach and if they taught over that they started fighting with the administration of the school. I had some really bad teachers in my highschool, and liked two teachers (because they were flexible and taught more my style than the others) who were forced to either retire or move schools. nix that actually one of the teachers got forced to move because she was politically a left in a EXTREMLY right school her club that she was the advisor for (the gay-strait alliance) almost caused a riot with the other students for having an anti war protest on campus grounds. anyway I don't have the semi union job and I'm ambivalent to it but I think doing it would be best for me.

well I tried to join the electricians union... they didn't ever call me back despite getting an 80 on the interview/test that they gave me. :shrugzies: where I'm at now is working for a guy doing commercial lighting to get certified after 2000 hours and a test, you get certified and you get bumped to about 14$ an hour (I think) and you get benefits from the company (dental sucks but medical is Kaiser so it's ok) The biggest worry I have is that I won't be able to stay up for the shifts (it'd be a night job starting at around six PM and running till 4:30 am with a half hour lunch break) and the job sites are all over the place, you only work 4 days a week though but sometimes those four days will be living out of a hotel room up in Yreka (20 miles from the Oregon state line... I'm in sac). So ultimately there's a part of me that will be relieved if i don't' get this job.

That just gave me an idea, have you considered joining a Union? Regardless of which profession you chose (plumber, electrician, welder, etc...) you would enter the program as a "journeyman" or apprentice and they would provide for you all the training you will need to fulfill the job of your selection. I think it only takes 1-2 years before your a full blown (x) and making good money. I dont even think there are any prerequisites. that's pretty much what i'm doing, the job is you run around to various comercial facilities and change out all the lights for new ones, it's "boring and monotonous and alot of heavy lifting" according to the guy who might become my bossI might even have jobs up near Fengs haunting grounds.

I am probably horribly unqualified to give advice on the subject, which makes it sound fairly cheap when I say "chin up!". No matter how bleak it looks, it won't last. I know the feeling of having to dodge the guy with the eviction notice because you haven't paid rent, but eventually when things swing the other (your) way, it will just be a memory, even if a painful one But not knowing what living and market conditions is like in your area, I am afraid that truly useful suggestions are in short supply. I hope some of our fellow forumites may have more valuable input than me. well theres a posibility (slim I think) that I can get a job as a "non residential Lighting technician" and get certified by the end of next year. pays about 11 bucks an hour so thats good I just don't know if I'll be able to handle the job.

:sigh: I'm never going to get a job in this climate.

long time no see. Playing City of heroes and ace combat six... was thinking about running through mass effect again for a paragon infiltrator (right now she's a Renegade)

I have a problem. If I ever try to load it without it being a fresh boot, my computer gives me a bluescreen of death. I'm very confuzzled by this. and now it doesn't recognize the disk as being in the drive... AARGH!

I finished watching the first season of heroes again. and we picked up season two on dvd and started recordings of season three... we missed the first ep but eh we' can survive. Oh and I earned forty bucks painting my parents bathroom doors.
