  1. Carth does have a much higher-pitch voice, but he is 38 after all. Crowe can give Carth a truly deep character. Malak must be tall: how about Shaq :D ?
  2. True. The temptation is too much .
  3. Not that again! I am so glad that thing doesn't move when some one used it as an avatar.
  4. Chow yun-fat has style. He's the Marlin Brando and James Dean of China.
  5. Only to the Gnome Scientist and that rifleman, I think. Vall Konnar's pencil sketches have more of a manga feel with all the slim bodies .
  6. Chow is a great actor and a family man, too. /*proud Chow fanboy right here.
  7. He's still alive? How about Uma Thurman for Brianna. She's got the martial arts part down.
  8. Since people have moved onto great actors like Ben Kingsley, who most likely won't play a video game character, I suggest Russell Crowe for Carth. His backstory in Gladiator even has some similarities to Carth's.
  9. No offense taken whatsoever; it's always nice to learn others' opinions.
  10. I was talking about the Communism Revolution, not the regime they founded. As for books portraying the ugly side of Mao after he gained absolute power, there are many of them outside of China, and don't believe everything being said in them. The authors are the very persons prosecuted by Mao. How can they be objective in their books?
  11. I second Kate as Bastila, but Hurley's going to look better in Bas's clothes though.
  12. The most horrible part: playing the remote on Malachor and running into Storm Beasts who can kill me with one hit before I even try to run and throw some grenades.
  13. Walsingham - All governments cover up their dirty laundries, so I wouldn't be surprised if what you suggest escaped my radar. During the Communism Revolution in China, however, Mao and his party defeated an army of tanks, airplanes and battleships, who also happened to outnumber them 3 to 1, with muskets and very little help from the Soviet Union. Mao's strategy was to gain the support of peasants and workers, and obviously he succeeded. The Chinese Civil War was a struggle within one nation. I just can't see the connection to terrorism today.
  14. Mao did attack the infrastructure and police during the Communism Revolution in China, but the Nationalist Party at the time is quite corrupt. Mao never preached attacking civilians to cause chaos, unless landlords who take peasants' wives and daughters are also considered civilians.
  15. There's no shame in that. Purple was the color of royalty once <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Interesting. Purple is also the color of royalty in China during the Tang Dynasty, but the emperors of China only wears gold. Coincidentally, purple and gold are my favorite colors.
  16. Nice new sig, Jodo. I would take the Ravager, just to hang out with Visas. Plus, there is always something on the ship for Bao-dur to fix.
  17. I was thinking about drawing a scene from Brianna and the Exile's 'combat training sessions'. This is what turned out : I don't know if it's just me, but the piccy looks a little weird, maybe a bigger knife?
  18. I don't know if the suffering part still applies today. The Jews live on a land that's surrounded by enemies and so far has only kicked their enemies' a$$. Think about it, the terrorists are fighting Israeli's missiles and tanks with bombs tied to their bodies. I wouldn't call that war, more like a one-sided a$$-whopping.
  19. Glad to see another fellow fanboy! Just one more pic , I can't resist it. Ancient Chinese clothes turn me on.
  20. Way too few pics of pretty girls! Here is a newcomer among Chinese actresses: (Somehow, a part of me still lives in anicent China .)
  21. Meta - My understanding of Chritianity is that there are minor and major sins. While harming another being is considered a major offense, masturbation and homosexuality would be considered minor sins in Chrisianity. Educate me if it's otherwise.
  22. I love the smell of petroleum, that's why I never let my friends or family pump the gas and they all think I am just being nice .
  23. I think what Mothman is trying to say is that he respects homosexuals as creations of God just as he does with everybody else. Homosexuality is a sin in Christianity, but so is adultery, which many Christians commit. Christians are sinners, too, so they cannot claim superiority in their soul over any one else's. They can only claim that they are more enlightened than others, but that's just my understanding of Christianity, and I am not part of it.
  24. Sneakers (Reebok mostly), US 14 (48.5 in Europe), which proves lucky for me since sports stores always have leftover big shoe sales when they drop the price by more than half sometimes. p.s. Steve - Don't worry. Your feet's size is actually normal. I think US 13 is where they cut the line.
  25. Are you planning to kidnap George Lucas? If you are, tell him I want a Twi'lek romance in Kotor III.
