  1. I've been trying to work out how chess is a fedex quest. Something to do with the pawns, maybe?
  2. Wait. Familiar cry?
  3. LOL. This would explain Raithe's ancestor's final words. "Avon Calling" I totally stole this from 2000AD's Tyranny Rex
  4. LOL. This would explain Raithe's ancestor's final words. "Avon Calling"
  5. ...Is the basket that will one day kill the Queen.
  6. BANANA? You are wrong and must be stopped. Banana is delicious on a pizza, you must try it I would rather swear allegiance to the Champs Elysee and then urinate on the Queen.
  7. If you lived in a country that was under real military threat you would understand the significance of military service and the fact that women want to be soldiers wouldn't be an unusual thought for you We are all under threat. From Carnivorous hippos. And by 'we' I mean 'you'. And by 'carnivorous hippos' I mean 'me when drunk'.
  8. BANANA? You are wrong and must be stopped.
  9. But, why? It does'nt make any sence. It's not like you have to get a license for a child even, and they're the same thing. Feed them, make sure they poop in the right places, and if they misbehave you drown them. ROFL
  10. London Zoo has wedding services. Seriously.
  11. I'm sorry, but can you clarify? I hate you. I know you do.
  12. And I'd like to be a hippo. A carnivorous hippo. But neither is going to actually happen. The thing about evil is that it necessitates contact with evil to fend it off. But this isn't something to get frantic about. You don't accuse cleaning of being pointless just because you tend to get dirty while carrying it out.
  13. I've given it some very serious thought and I think that voting on this would be a collossal mistake. What you are really advocating - albeit with good intentions - is shifting your user requirements after development has begun. Shifting user requirements after development has been planned and started is a recipe for disaster. You may think saying "Oh, but it has to work in real time." is OK to throw in. But that's what people think about "Oh, but it has to work on mobile devices." or "oh, but it has to have a tutorial component." Or "it has to be available for sale in Australia." They all sound innocuous, but they have multiple inferential links to architectures, coding, quality control, project management... I'm taking the trouble to explain this precisely because I believe you care and want a good delivery. And I'm telling you with the greatest possible kindly emphasis to shut the **** up.
  14. Hang on. This shows on Steam as 15 quid for EACH BG1/2. That's just not tenable, given I own about three copies of the variants over the years. Oh well. Good luck to them, though.
  15. Totally agree. Besides which, WTF is up with the Wile-E-Coyote notion used to negate the Daleks? It presupposes that the little flying bastards are directly lined up facing each other, and that they'll kill each other before realising anything has happened. And that none will escape. It's utterly laughable. I get annoyed by this because Dr Who appeals to smart kids. And we're using that open channel to 'teach' them complete balls.
  16. She's not saying "wink" any more.
  17. This really gave me a good laugh. Have some points or cookies or something. You sound very pious. It's not a desire to kill that's being proven. It's the right to shoulder the burden of doing so.
  18. We watched it, really enjoyed it. My only gripe is that YET AGAIN the writers use a magic deus ex machina solution to a complex goddamn problem. Dr Who's genocidal record is the only thing I thought was worthwhile in his bloody backstory. Children neither like nor want "And they all lived happily ever after." Pathetically weak adults just think they do.
  19. I am utterly convinced that you have different tastes depending on how often you've had to go to sleep hungry. I like hearty rib-sticking food, fat and savoury are my two favourites. A lot of European food is about making you feel full, not enlightening or flirting with you. To me, German cuisine is about that. I like it, when I've tasted it over here.
  20. I could use some help tracking down a relative who effectively disappeared in Burma in WW2. Family legend says he's dead. But I haven't been able to find a grave ANYWHERE for him. I've got the strangest gut feeling that we may have a whole branch of the family elsewhere.
  21. I'm sorry, but can you clarify?
  22. The use of memes and links certainly makes for easier faster trolling. I remember the days when trolling took skills.
  23. That UI looks strange, did you use a mod? No, he uses the EE. Huh. I'm considering getting it now. It certainly looks uncluttered. Is it the same for BG1?
  24. Had that thing, where you don't want to sleep, because sleep is like dying. Up, now. Really just cannot be arsed to go into work. This 'shop floor' time is ****ing ruining me as a manager, long term. I'm never going to be able to honestly discipline anyone ever again. "Simpkins, you're late!" "I know, sir." "I know, too, Simpkins. Here's a fiver. Just go to the pub, will you?"
