Hold on, we're getting kind of strung out here. I'm not afraid we'll get ambushed by Indians, but unless we get some coherence then what's the point of all this? My summary so far, which I suggest someone improves on: 1) If a task, like a leap, has a high probability of failure, then re-attempting it should not take a long time to set up* 2) Changing the things that make the game enjoyable into something else for no apparent reason. e.g. force swapping party members, mini-games** 3) er... Solutions: *Prince of Persia. Walshmatic: random possibility of the reload making that particular leap into a different puzzle. ** If the forced change has to happen (I can't imagine why, but I'm not a dev), then give at least a choice of two. Even a little choice is better than none.

I randomly came across this article in the Telegraph, dealing with a similar situation. Anyway, I was about toe berate Archie for being bitter, until I remembered that I've been off relationships for nearly a year because I essentially got sick of having to spend so much energy just understanding women. I literally got tired of it. I don't know if it's women naturally, but I do think a lot of it is down to how many competing demands society makes of them. Having said that I've been taking delivery all day of new nest-building materiel, like tumble-dryers, mirrors, and fridges. I have my new cooker coming soon, and I'm getting quotes to revamp the rear of the house. So something must be up.

As if attractiveness is linear. You don't rate bloody meals 1-10 if you're serious about them. It's what fires your taste buds at the time. It could be a michelin starred sliver of salmon on bulgar wheat. It could be a street trolley hotdog with fried onions and mustard. It could be a single ice-cube. I have to agree. Put me in a room with a beautiful woman - I mean really properly beautiful, not some model - and you might just as well give me a swift kick to the head. I was so startled once by two gorgeous twins in Thailand that I actually forgot to breath and nearly passed out!

Anyway, we hear him say in a surprised voice "What am I _wearing_?" I told him straight: "Mate, I'm the one who doesn't break any rules and I'm telling you right now to get dressed, climb the wall and go to her. We'll cover for you." But naturally enough when you're young you think young girls will always be making lewd advances on you.

I had my first crush age six. I didn't even know what the hell it was. I thought I was ill! You know, can't stop thinking about a girl, heart goes nuts when you see her. Blast. I REALLY don't know anyone in California. _However_ I'm always amazed at who one can turn up. But it'll be a long shot. Locally, and in many English boroughs, there's a public volunteer centre where you can go to offer up your time, and they send you out. Failing that, local churches would know some people. I don't know who else you'd ask, really. When I was a teenager I did voluntary community service. My brother thought you could only do community service if you'd been in trouble with the police, and he was going to give me a kicking until he found out I was helping CP kids. It really was a bizarre experience "No, seriously, I'm helping these kids because they need help. I've not hurt anyone!"

It's just fair to say that he benefited from an hilariously uncreditable opposition. Hell, even the LibDems made progress.

Well, large parst of it are more operational. It's a little unfair to blame you for this. I know I am in some ways very similar. There's a big difference in romance between what you should do and what you will do. I liken it to skiing. It's patently insane to slide down a snowy hillside on sticks, but we do it anyway. That's really good advice, GD. I completely agree. Doing stuff for other people is also a really good way to feel good.

I just find it sad that race is an issue. Racism won't be dead just because you ahve a black President. Racism will be dead when a President can be any colour, and people take it as no more significant than what breakfast cereal he prefers.

I mean you talk about this from an operational - as in 'what I might do' - perspective very differently to your 'how do I feel' perspective.
