  1. Use GetRight or a download manager.
  2. There are more Ultima mods completed, and more mods in production than Fallout. I would say that makes Ultima quite relevant. Ultima Online stlll has over a million players, and is still selling expansions despite it's outdated graphics and gameplay.
  3. Bethesda doesn't openly saw their previous games have flaws. But here they seem to address them as if they knew they were flaws. This gives me hope both for Oblivion and Fallout. So much for people thinking Fallout would be exactly like Morrowind. Their next TES game isn't even going to be like Morrowind.
  4. I'm curious to see the influence system with a bit more polish in NWN:2.
  5. Is he fully-functional?
  6. I'll give Firefly a chance, but I am not a Whedon fan-boy. His resume before Firefly is one bad movie, and two decent TV shows that were overrated.
  7. Kumkwat is fired. Back up your box and go home. No, Angelina Jole got a HUGE tattoo on her stomach of a black cross and the latin words saying "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger".
  8. I maintain that it is an improvement over the DS-bully path in KOTOR:1.

  10. Same here. I honestly don't think Angelina Jolie cares enough to go out of her way to augment herself in such fashion. This is the same girl who got a huge tattoo that has to be covered up in almost every movie she does. It pisses directors off.
  11. One can argue that KOTOR:2 allowed us to do that via influence.
  12. Spellmar says, "Two episodes were enough for me." Subject verb agreement is kind of important. You are docked 10 T.O.M.B.S. experience points.
  13. When Boone called on the radio before he died, the people on the other end said "We're the survivors of Oceaning Flight XXX".
  14. There is nothing wrong with being a geek. But I accept that crappy TV will usually prevail, and good TV shows will be rare. Fox never advertised or marketed Firefly. No one said much about the show when it was on the air. So why be shocked that it was canceled? And as much as I've heard about Firefly, everyone raves that Buffy and Angel were the greatest TV shows in the universe and I liked neither of them.
  15. I'm still confused as this thread states that unless people voted otherwise we were reverting to Spring. Then we got no notification otherwise. I know people did vote to revert to Spring. What happened?
  16. I haven't heard good things about it personally. Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2, Hunter: Redeemer, and X-Men Legends are the same type of game, yet better.
  17. Considering that the Splinter Cell games are some of the most balanced, complete, polished games on the market, I don't that that is a fair assessment.
  18. I want to visit Asia and come home with a mail-order bride.
  19. *The blind man says "I see now" as he trips over the three-eyed goat, hammer and saw. (ACT) Even better, check the first post! I have posted session logs, including two prologue scenes!
  20. I think those are all good ideas.
  21. The game is far from over, but Russia will bask none the less, until the Vodka hangover kicks in.
  22. What about Shinto?
  23. The episode was really good. These in-bred kicks were really good at setting traps around their house that managed to kill a few FBI agents. They looked all kinds of creepy, much like the fools who attempt to oppose the might of the Russian Hegemony.
  24. Well, I suspected the monster was a mechanical part of the security system of the island. But that floating smoke thing appears flat out supernatural.
  25. There is no carryover in a phase-based system with no rounds. Without rounds, your agility or dex might lower the action point cost for certain things. Say swinging a sword takes 10 APs. Your Dex or Agi might give as much as a 1 through 5 modifier to APs, negative or positive. So with a super high Agility, you can swing a sword in half the time. For initiative, you roll a D10, and that says how far in the phase you start at. A good init roll allows you to get a quick jump. You have a Agi modifier of 3, so it takes a 7 for you to swing a sword. You roll a 5 on initiative, so that's where you start. You effectively start combat with 5 free action points removed from your first action. You won't actually get to swing your sword into 2 phases or action points into battle. And then you swing again 7 more phases in. You're effectively swinging on 2, 9, 16, 23, so on and so forth. But if you choose another action down the round, your next action could be sooner or later based on the number of action points for said action.
