  1. I was really suprised to learn that Republicans understand bondage between mother and child. I thought they liked their lovin' vanilla style.
  2. Your response snuck in before mine. I was actually respoding to Mus' comment on pollerating.
  3. I like this one the best.
  4. Just to clarify, we can build units at our home stations. Does that mean only our initial supply centers, or any supply center we control? I may have to go pour over the rules again...
  5. I will agree that there isn't a perfect system, and certain systems are better suited for various purposes. However I maintain that in general, level and class based systems are still inferior.
  6. Actually, I don't really watch TV. I have never seen a full episode of Magnum PI, Acapulco Heat, or any of those. I have only seen Seinfeld once. I have never seen Friends. I have only seen ER once. I didn't watch X-Files until I bought my wife all nine seasons on DVD. I've never seen Farscape or Stargate, despite being a big SciFi buff. The only TV shows I currently really watch are House and Lost.
  7. JADE EMPIRE  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Given the lack of RPGs on the XBox, I like Jade Empire. In the end, combat was still easy, the plot horridly predictable, and the game rather short. Jade Empire's strength was the world they created, and I give them props for that. I just hope Jade Empire 2 is more of a full game.
  8. I hear Ted Kennedy likes to pole his electorate, if you know what I mean.
  9. The mods still haven't closed the spam thread here. Where is ol' Finn? This thread needs a lockdown, but until then...
  10. Or lots of hentai games. I heavily recommend, Meat Wallet 2: Fisting Full of Dollars, as it is a faithful and brilliant remake of a classic.
  11. Beats of Rage pwns Double Dragon 2.
  12. Eru is a smart grasshopper. And Sky is a poor lay anyway.
  13. I have no intention to see the Fantastic Four. I'll pop in my Incredibles DVD instead.
  14. A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls. Dan Quayle I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican. Dan Quayle I have made good judgements in the Past. I have made good judgements in the Future. Dan Quayle I love California, I practically grew up in Phoenix. Dan Quayle If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure. Dan Quayle People that are really very weird can get into sensitive positions and have a tremendous impact on history. Dan Quayle Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child. Dan Quayle The American people would not want to know of any misquotes that Dan Quayle may or may not make. Dan Quayle The future will be better tomorrow. Dan Quayle We don't want to go back to tomorrow, we want to go forward. Dan Quayle We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a *part* of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a *part* of Europe. Dan Quayle We're all capable of mistakes, but I do not care to enlighten you on the mistakes we may or may not have made. Dan Quayle Welcome to President Bush, Mrs. Bush, and my fellow astronauts. Dan Quayle What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is. Dan Quayle When I have been asked during these last weeks who caused the riots and the killing in L.A., my answer has been direct and simple: Who is to blame for the riots? The rioters are to blame. Who is to blame for the killings? The killers are to blame. Dan Quayle [it's] time for the human race to enter the solar system. Dan Quayle Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things. Dan Quayle, 11/30/88 One word sums up probably the responsibility of any vice president, and that one word is 'to be prepared'. Dan Quayle, 12/6/89 Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it. Dan Quayle, 5/20/92 (reported in Esquire, 8/92) I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change. Dan Quayle, 5/22/89 Mars is essentially in the same orbit... Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe. Dan Quayle, 8/11/89 Murphy Brown is doing better than I am. At least she knows she still has a job next year. Dan Quayle, 8/18/92 The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century. Dan Quayle, 9/15/88 Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children. Dan Quayle, 9/18/90 We're going to have the best-educated American people in the world. Dan Quayle, 9/21/88 We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur. Dan Quayle, 9/22/90 For NASA, space is still a high priority. Dan Quayle, 9/5/90 Public speaking is very easy. Dan Quayle, to reporters in 10/88 I stand by all the misstatements that I've made. Dan Quayle, to Sam Donaldson, 8/17/89
  15. If appears the Hoffmeister has truly met his match. Yet... Look at that leather-clad, rough and ready cool pimp daddy, all tassles and chest hair - you can't learn or earn that kind of bad ass, you have to be born with it, and the 'Hoff is one seriously bad mother****er. You can't argue with eagle power. And go make me a sandwich too, bitch.
  16. Yes they did. Omaha, Nebraska (where I live) is one of the few cities bombed in WWII. Before the US was officially involved in WWII, Hitler sent U-Boats to the US to spy on us, and launch a preemptive strike. They also sent a small number of bombs over on balloons. Either way, Japan and Germany were allies, and we were attacked by Japan. The United States attempted to be isolationist, and we were dragged into war by two counties. When you are the king of the hill, people will ALWAYS look to pick a fight with you. Only an idiot would suggest we could ever be truly isolationist. And I suppose you also then condone standing by and ignoring genocide. It's not our problem, right?
  17. When you beat the game, listen to the credits as they are rolling.
  18. War is for civilizations with no culture.
  19. I particularly like Exalted's stunt rule. If you attempt something particularly daring and clever, the Storyteller can assign you bonus dice.
  20. My move is to build death ninja monkeys, and the Spanish Inquisition.
  21. I will use the Touch Of Death on the three people who voted for Tyson.
  22. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?ac...ult_type=topics
  23. You didn't control it in the Fall, which is all that matters.
  24. This is the debate to end all debates, and the center of Obsidian lovin'.
  25. The Bin Laden family does not tolerate nor support terrorism, and when Osama Bin Laden decided to become a terrorist, he was exiled from Saudi and cut off from his family. Just because Bin Laden grew up in Saudi, that does not make many, or most Saudi's terrorists. Saudi condoned, and wanted US bases to protest Saudi from Iraq. I think with Saddam deposed, there will be a push for the US to pull out of Saudi, and I'm fine with that.
