I disagree. The wound in the Force is most definately a hole. However, in general the Dark Side is not a hole per se. Imagine that you are standing submerged waist-deep in what appears to be an an endless ocean. Every living being in the universe is also standing in the same ocean, so that the ocean connects all of you. The water that touches you also touches others, though those farther removed from you are harder to sense because of the distance. Ripples caused by them are all but dissipated at greater distances, unless your sensitivity is high. A LS Force User merely senses the Force, and controls how it flows through them, allowing it to guide their body in tune with the nature of the Force. Since all life adds to the Force, the nature of the Force is to preserve life through a careful balance. The DS notices this great power around them, and harnesses it, without care for the nature of the Force. The DS path is one of power because it is held back my objectivity. You harnass as much of it as you can, and redirect it, causing ripples at your whim. Causing such turbulence in the ocean has its negative repercussions on the DS user, but the Force itself is not DS, nor a hole. The DS user touches and channels the same ocean, though they use it in a different fashion.

Will a movies and music patch really affect the game? I think not.

Turbo Pascal is designed to easily compile the same code to most any OS. Too bad no one really uses Turbo Pascal.

Almost every website I've ever done has had that very problem, namely the Dark Side of Eden chapter webpage, my old personal webpage, my friend's poetry page, the Martin Private Patrol page, my current homepage, projectfanout.com, etc. validator.w3.org validated the code just fine, but colors didn't display correctly. IE read the CSS just fine, but Firefox wouldn't. I had to put redundant code in for the colors. I'm normally a big supporter of Firefox on the whole, but there are issues with Firefox's rendering engine. The geek community however is generally too pro-Firefox and anti-Microsoft to ever admit there is a fault with Firefox.

I think he was trying to say people that one XBoxes are stupid, where as people who own computers aren't. I won't point out the incoherence of his post, and the irony contained therein. (Or even better the irony contained in my post).

I've never played either since I don't care for shooters. I came to really love Half Life despite hating the FPS genre. I should play Deus Ex when I have the time.

The Hutt thing makes a bit more sense. The Hutts (and their cousins the Toydarians) are supposed to be largely immune to the effects of the Force, so it makes sense that they can't use it either.

Mozilla screams that the IE rendering engine doesn't work properly. Microsoft says the Mozilla rendering engine doesn't work properly. All I know is that when I code valid HTML (checked by the W3C's validator) that it often doesn't show properly in Firefox. As much as I like Firefox, I think they need to fix the rendering engine.

If GM ups the avatar limits, I'll let the mod team pick my avatar for a month.

I vote that we all get access to 100x100 or at the very least 80x80 avatars. 64x64 is just ridiculous.

Hades used to use Cthulu-Kitty and I think it worked quite well.
