  1. Gaeriel Captison, I also was a little sad to see her go. Ah yes that's her. I remember when I first read that book I read that part three times just to make sure I was reading it right and not misundestanding it. I was rather shocked. ***More Spoilers From the Books.**** : : : : : : : : : Let's not forget the death of Biggs who if you've read the SW novel was a very good friends with Luke. The female Pilot from Truce at Bakrua who was killed in the last section of the book as the Empire called an end to the truce. Chewie in the NJO,that's a huge part of my not picking up the NJO's. I mean for a character like that to die is bad enough but to do it in such a ...dumb way...bah. Ani from the NJO series, not as bothered by that one as much as Chewie. Ani was a EU creation so where I don't like it I can deal with it. Dash from SOTE. The SW EU has killed off it's share of characters that people liked.
  2. ***Spoilers**** : : : : : : : : : True, don't exactly disagree with you. That however is not enough for me to dislike the book and/or the series. They've done that a couple of times. I can't remember her name off the top of my head but the woman Luke met in Truce at Bakrua and then again in the books with Han's crazy cuz. They killed her off which annoyed me a little but not enough to dislike the series.
  3. I liked that whole little 'series'. Children of the Jedi,Darksaber, and Plant of Twilight. Wasn't the best but it was entertaining.
  4. Yeah that's what I figured he was talking about. Or close enough anyway.
  5. *LOL* If she comes back great. If she doesn't oh well. I think there's a good chance she will in some way be back. But I'm not going to worry about it if she doesn't either.
  6. Guys, bastila isn't coming back. Why obsess about it? Hasn't really been said if she is or is not. Little hard for either side of the debate to state something like that as a 100% fact.
  7. I don't agree with this though, has it been confirmed anywhere? If the same faces were available, who would want to play through the next game with the Revan face again? I also think the devs wouldn't just arbitrarily place a Revan face in those screenshots as if it were the 'commonplace' face of a Kadir or a Hendar! Revan did not have the same face for everyone, and I'm not 100% sure but check the FAQ's up here. It's been said that there will be the same faces from Knights plus more faces are being added.
  8. Question on screenshots of the LucasArts gallery: Does anybody know, if the planet on pictures 10 to11 is Coruscant? Would truly look like it... Hasn't been said what planet that is that I know of. Could be Courscant, might not be. Might be something like Nar Shadda or some brand new City planet made just for Sith Lords. Could be a rebuilt sections of Telos or something as well. Lot of places that could be.
  9. You can talk to her on Dantooine as long as you finish Korriban before the Leviathan. She's in the courtyard (where Jon, Nemo, etc.) by the far back end standing by herself. Bah. *Kicks himself* I didn't go out into that area,I checked the inside. Thanks.
  10. I truly hope so. Yuthara has been the most interesting npc in Kotor1, and having her as a LS Jedi in my team is one of my most wanted for Kotor2 (besides having a true sequel with the old team but as we know this won
  11. if she is not a party member she will probably make a cameo appearance My guess she just has a pretty big role in the game as such they're not saying much so as to not give too much away.
  12. And she won't be a joinable NPC of course I think depending on how they work the conversations at the start it's possible she might be an option,if you choose the light path for Revan.
  13. I would like to see Mission five years later. Heh,where it's pry not for the same reasons you seem to be thinking I would agree. I liked the character, and if set up right and kept in the back she could be useful in a fight as well as for her skills. I usually started out as a Soldier so my character always lacked in the skills department. When I played as a Scan she wasn't as useful. But I still liked the character.
  14. and have a conversation with her on Dantooine, shortly before it's blown up You can? Interesting,I've set her back onto the light path and even went to Dat looking for her and never found her. Shortly before is't blown up? Could you give a little more detail? I wouldn't mind trying that out.
  15. That's why the only characters that can be critical are HK, T3, and Canderous. You cannot have anyone else be critical to the role because if you choose darkside dialogues they would be dead or gone. I guess I'm thinking something different for the term 'critical' then how it's being used. I don't see HK,t3,or Can being 'critical' to the story of Sith Lords. Not saying I don't want to see them or would be upset if they did show up either.
  16. What we really need though is a Jawa with a lightsaber. That would pwn. Personal Bias Coming I second that.
  17.  er... yeah... 'kay.
  18. I don't think so,those screens are from GI,that's one of the new face styles I believe. Pry gone dark with the black make up job.
  19. There are bigger bullies than Canderous out there. I'm not saying he's the kind of guy that you'd want as a role model, just that he is solid and a lot of fun to talk to. Bigger in power perhaps, his whole life was build around killing because he could. You can't get much more bully like then that. It just didn't seem to fit his character very well, that's all. I can understand how the experience would change him, but for a moment I thought he was about to burst into tears. After 40 some years he was starting to see that the life he'd lived wasn't everything he'd made it out to be. That's enough to bring damn near anyone close to tears I would think.
  20. I agree with you that Canderous, HK-47, and T-3 should be the only characters besides Revan making an apperance in KOTOR 2 since all can't be killed in the first game. The only problem though is Obisidian would have to deal with the Bastila and Carth fanboy/fangirl death squads and that probably wouldn't be a pretty sight to say the least. I wouldn't mind it personally even though I am a Bastila fan because it makes the most sense in the end for me and IMHO would result in the best possible story for both lightside and darkside players from the first game. Because you want to see a character return in the game you're a fanboy/girl? And isn't who appears in the game based around the conversation(s) at the start of the game? So for the most part won't the player be able to decide how things went down in Knights? I could be off but everything I've seen about the conversations and the set up of the game was so they didn't step on the any of the choices that could be made in Knights. Now Mission,Zal,Jolee, and Juhani all died if the character went dark correct? No matter what? I never played the DS. So going light would take care of them. Now in the case of Carth/Bas the player had the choice to kill them or not. So wouldn't it fit then,if they're trying not to step on anyone's choices,to allow some kind conversation option that has to do with that? To allow the player to decide if they died or not?
  21. Canderous is instantly likeable because everything is cut and dry with him. It's hard to call him downright evil, but he's pretty unsympathetic and very gruff. Welcome to your POV,as I said I'm curious. Have to disagree with that idea though, he killed because he had the power to do it. Sounds like an extreme bully to me. I'm bigger so you die? That's a tad more then unsympathetic. Just listening to his war stories was a lot of fun, mainly because of the way he tells them. The only time I got sick of him was when he got all emotional about killing Jagi. So when he showed he was more then a robot you disliked him?
  22. It's been said he/she are the last known Jedi, not the last jedi. As for how can he/she save the Jedi? A few good friends, the force, and just a tad bit of luck. (Even though most Jedi don't believe in luck.) And you could always go DS. In which case you'd need. A few subjects that could fight but be thrown away at a moments notice, the force, and the will to kill with it. Either way, should be fun.
  23. The Sith think they've killed off all the Jedi. Here comes the MC from the edge of the galaxy and they go after him/her. Now obviously they did not kill them all, that'd be pretty damn hard to do unless you could get everyone all together, but they think they have. Now what,if any, exactly your characters relationship to one/any of the Sith Lords might play a role in things. Maybe your character was betrayed and exiled for something he/she didn't do and the one who was responsible is one of the Sith. There's a lot of ways they could take this story.
  24. Thought to be last Jedi. Why is unknown, pry for the same reason Vader was thought to be the last.
  25. im not a big fan of him either, but i think people like how brutal he is \ He ran around with a rather screwed idea of "honor" by killing and destroying almost anything in his way just becaus he could. Slap on stealth and a mask and you have a Predator that speaks basic. Was hoping there's more to why people like him then that.
