First off great work and thanks for the info. Second is GI the full name of the mag or just a short form? and where did you buy it (i.e. country)? I would like to buy it thats why I am asking. No prob, the whole name is Game Informer. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's Gamestop's mag. I could be wrong it wasn't my mag,I..um..borrowed my brother-in-law's while he and his friend were playing something on one of my systems. He mentioned there was something about Sith Lords so I suggested he and his friend play if they want. While they were playing I made off with the mag to read it and post it up.

Sounds like a real interesting family get together... Though being serious, does sound like something a Sith Lord would follow.

It would seem silly if they kept the old faces. Suppose so yeah... Unless you're Revan's twin... 2 Devs now, whats going on? You may have stumbled on something here. Uh-oh...If I don't come back you all know what happened.... :D ... ... ...

Thanks ZSSM, oops I meant Silver Sun. So is HK47 in or out? Agg my alter ego is out of the bag again... Have no clue on HK. Looks like you made the right call on the faces. "Your insight serves you well..."

Heh,was thinking the same thing. There a few bits of info that people may have been off on. Still sounds like it's going to be great though.

Got my hands on the new GI and they have an article on Sith Lords. I don't have a scanner but I'll try and put all the important/new info up here. They have a concept art pic of the Zabrak, looks decent. Another interesting point is a bit on the HK droid at the start. Seems to go against the XBN a little bit. There's a screen shot of a droid that looks like 47 but is dark gray. Here's the little bit of info. He hates all life with a burning passion but he's silver (actually he looks dark gray to me) and he doesn't say "meatbag". The protocol droid you'll encounter on Peragus,HK-50,is most likely not the fan favorite HK-47 from KOTOR. Additionally,it seems that the role of HK-50 plays in the story is done after Peragus, and that wuss T3-M4 isn't going on any killing sprees anytime soon. So,does Sith Lords have a shortage of sadistic homoicidal droids? Absolutely not. Though he wouldn't clarify with any details, Gallo, responded with a single definitive word when asked if HK-50 was the last of HK series we'll encounter. "No." Other interesting points. ...It does not appear that the facial models from the first game will be returning, but there will be a crop of original choices for this adventure. "There are over 30 different heads to choose from and all of them are new." ...Some of the coolest skills can only be gained in another manner(then picking them from a level up)-they are taught. Throughout the game you will encounter certain characters who, depending on your alignment, can pass on their knowledeg of exclusive and powerful techniques. Force crush,is an example. I found that one really interesting. Does that mean no taking a Padawan? Not only will what you look like change as you lean dark or light but the look of the party members you sway will as well. Another interesting note, when talking about Sion and the other Sith Lords it says this. ..though they may not be allied directly with Sion, they are uniformly bent on wiping you out. Does that mean you could join one Sith and fight the others as well as whatever Jedi are left/republic? They a bunch of new screens but nothing really major in them. A new female PC head choice,a few small bits of conversation between a few of the characters. But they all looked smooth.

Was thinking more along the lines of "The Man".

October XBN.. if avoiding spoilers avoid this
SilverSun replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
True, but this station might have simply had the tanks and Kolto for their workers and never used it. Might have been placed there by someone else. Just because you went DS doesn't mean you took the DS option on Manaan as well. Maybe your a Sith with a love of nature. It could happen.... -

Maybe they just keep using it...dirty kolto. Is that healthy? I'm calling the FDA and asking. -

P. Staition or any number of other places could have had Kolto stored. -
The Darth Sion doll would be classic. I want it for the pure shock value of it. B)
-
Exactly! .. and in Kotor that is pretty much your only opition, you cant jsut talk Kath hounds out of attacking you now can you? You could use Force Fetch....
-
... ... ... This could go WAY off topic now.
-
True, but Obi-wan said....*Points down his little group of quotes.* Perhaps choking the guards was...um...defense of his friends who would have been in trouble had he not made it inside.
-
In the ROTJ novel didn't he kill the guards with choke? Bah it's been too long since I've any of the books. As for the movies, they certainly don't act like they're alive. They fall against the wall then slide down it before going limp.
-
Is confusion a light power? Or is that universal? Anyways I always found the right set of Light powers all but made the dark side powers used against my character useless. So where the powers never did any direct damage they keep the character alive so they can do the damage.
-
True but I've also seen it said that having certain skills may open up small side quests that you might not otherwise be able to do. Treat injury was the example given I believe. Having high Repair will allow you more options in a number of areas. I would think the same could be said for Comp and Security and any other skill. Maybe stealth will have a point besides simply having fun. Who knows. The Sens however have a chance,if fixed,to be a really great class in this one. But I don't think it's going to matter if they're not fixed.
-
Depending on exactly what the different skills will allow you to do and how much you're allowed to use other characters and their skills, there might be certain items or quests that you can't as early or at all unless you are a Sen and have enough points in certain skills.

Final villian is it Revan?
SilverSun replied to Master Cypher's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
has Revan still be a Sith Lord the others wouldn't had that title or a chance of getting it from Revan. Revan never really beat anyone for the title,he just kind of took it. What's to say the Sith Lords from this game aren't as if not more powerful then Revan? Even if they weren't on an individual level, the might of the group might be enough to beat him. Or impess him/her enough to let them join and him and use the title. -
Isn't that the Sith way too start with? Use who and what you can to gain as much power for yourself? So if said Sith Lord was able to make it seems as if they could be useful to the PC, and the PC had enough pride in their own power to think they could use the others power for their own sake while staying in control...
-
True enough. Your first comment it made it seem as if they would be dead, least it that's how it came across. On the other hand there are all ready more then one Sith Lord in this one. Smack the person around enough maybe he'll beg for his/her life and ask to join you. Be a Sion like SL.
-
Well,if you go dark side and beat them, they wouldn't hold the title anymore. And stranger things have happened. And even then it doesn't mean they have to die, could still run off to fight another day.
-
There is no rule that says you have to kill someone to beat them. It's possible they could have beat the Sith Lords but any number of them don't actually die. Or if you go dark perhaps join you at the end. All depends on how they want to work things.
-
At the end there can be only one Sith Lord you if you go DS or none if you go LS How do you figure that?
