Which party member do you LOVE the most?
SilverSun replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Actually Jolee was, game play wise, not lightside. He can't use the SF robes or the Qel robes. When I tried I got a massage about the items only able to be used by Lightside characters. -

I've gotta go with Jolee. If used right he was great in a fight, loved the character's personality and back story and that the character wasn't as extreme as a lot of the other Force crowd in the game. -
Which party member do you hate the most?
SilverSun replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Can was a thug with a big gun and strange idea of honor. Carth was jumped at his shadow and had trust issues because of things in his past. Some will like one, others will the other. All depends on your POV. And I voted for T3,not that I really hate the character, just wasn't a lot for me personally to like about the droid. Anything he could do skill wise Mission could do just as well and she was better in a fight if set up right. -
Nine Party members, where's the tenth?
SilverSun replied to Craigboy2's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Maybe,in a few articles though they've made comments about T3 getting struck down on P. Station. Curious if that means he's done then of if you can repair him. -

Are we sure that T3 counts as one for the whole game? He might be a Trask type of character. -
The release date says 12/04 on the lucasarts site... so why is everyone saying it's 12/06? I believe that means Dec 2004,not the 4th of Dec. I was told the 7th as well when I pre-ordered it.

Also in the OT as well the DVD's in the Cantina when Obi-wan slices the guy's arm off there's blood on the floor. I might be wrong but wasn't it edited out of the SE? Anyway, sometimes it seems it does and others it doesn't. I'm not sure what the official stance is.

Hmm,seen different things said on the Sabers and blood but I'm thinking it's pretty much been made official that there wouldn't be blood from that. Endless choices here though...
-
Blood is listed as one of the reason which is why i was curious. They either added blood in when people are hit, possible but I doubt it. There might be some sort of scene or scenes in which blood is seen. I don't know,it's not like it's a serious matter I was just rather curious.

Wow two things in a row...now I'm really getting scared.

but those few that dont need a rating. Rating won't help those,E or M if they don't understand the difference between what's real and what is not then it isn't going to matter. And none of this has helped us figure where in Sith Lords there will be enough blood that it needed to placed into the rating. Heh,maybe it's Sion's body...

For some reason when grapichs or animations are used to show a certain scene it's held to a different standard then if actors are used to show the same scene or one close to it. Rather flawed way of doing things IMO but it's usually how it works. Hell anything other then actors will make the rating board spaz. That new movie by the people who make South Park was going to be rated NC-17 for a "love" scene with wooden puppets. They had to edit it 17 times or something like that.

btw I have never seen her with a Lightsaber in any pics! She used them in early screens,in most of the new screens with her she's using a sword or staff of some kind.

They should make KOTOR III with a mature rating IMHO and go for things like real dismemberment by lightsabers, have a decent kissing animation where required and don't fade to black during things like the massage in Davik's estate. SW has always been PG to PG-13 in style,I doubt you'll ever see anything besides a T on any SW game. However I don't see why you couldn't have everything you said and still keep the T rating. Maybe the exception being the massage room in Daviks but even that's rather tame. Jedi Outcast had their little kiss and kept the T, I don't think that had anything to do with the rating and more with just the style Bio choose to go with. Empire showed Luke's hand being cut off,ROTJ showed Vader's. Don't see why,if done right,it could be added and and not up the rating. kumquatq3,nice info. I hope that the blood is more story driven then in the regular fighting. Be rather strange to have a MK style fight in SW game. I mean if placed in a scene it could really add to the story and game. If just thrown in their for "kool" effect I think it'll take way from it. But that's just me. As for the ratings,I don't think they need to be rated as in,E,T,M,etc. Simply place on the game what is in it and let the parents decide if they want their kid to play it. Most "M" games would be PG-13 if they were a movie anyway.

Could do that without blood, not that I care, just seems odd to have blood come into play for a SW game rating.

ESRB: Teen - Blood, Violence http://lucasarts.com/games/swkotor_sithlords/#50 Okay Teen was figured, the Violence I understand but blood? Is there actually enough in the game that it needs to be placed in the reasons for the rating??

not many can, but the inability to communicate didnt stop t3 from hanging around not really contributing. True enough, but still possible for someone to understand a Wookiee when the speak, even if most do not.

As always,Nice Job Craft.

Wouldn't have to be a romance option. Might take away from playing the option out if you knew the character would always die in the end. Maybe have a set up where at the end you have to split the party up and each group has a goal. Who dies could be based off how you split the group up,or who you send to do what.
-
If a party member dies I hope it's not a set person, that it's based off a choice or choices you make near the time of the character's death.

I just had an interesting yet twisted idea......
SilverSun replied to Topaz Quasar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
An Albedo type could work, long as he didn't have the laugh. Would be strange to hear a Sith Lord laugh like that guy. -
*chuckles* You're making far too much out of the terms Lord and Master. The title is Sith Lords because in the game the top Sith is a Dark Lord of Sith. In this case there happen to be more then one Lord, meaning very powerful Sith. Just because there's a more then one Lord doesn't mean that one isn't calling the shots. And if you want to get official the little rule of two isn't even in play in this time frame so there does not have to be a Master for one to be calling the shots. Not to mention that the Class is a RPG game mechanic, one that doesn't have to fit with the story exactly. As you so kindly pointed out the name is Sith Lords, meaning more then one. So no matter what RPG class they have they're still considered from a story line stand point,Sith Lords. I've made nothing up and you should lay off the Red Bulls. You're a little hyped up. I never said Ni's class wasn't Lord nor did I state that he wasn't the one in charge. What I said was it was not confirmed that he was and as such it is possible he is not. The character being on the Cover simply shows that the character has a big role in the game. It does not make him the one calling the shots. You got hung up on the words Lord and Master and missed the point of my example with the OT. There was a plot device used that showed Vader on the Covers and it gave the impression that Vader was more in charge then he was. Pal was in the background the whole time however pulling the strings. In that case it was Master/Lord set up. But just because that's not the case in the game does not mean the same kind of plot device can not be used to give off the impression to the player that the Masked Sith is the one in charge. And again as I've said,he very well may be.

Jad'en....pretty sure it was a joke.
