  1. Was it actually stated that Silver and white were different colors? I figured when he said he confirmed two not one he was talking about Silver/White and orange.
  2. the sith won the war, whats hard to get. They made the game as if u played as a dark character Not exactly, you can choose to have Revan have been a Jedi not a Sith. But even with that the war wasn't over yet. That was one victory in one battle.
  3. Look at the movies. In ANH even with the Death Star blown to bits the Empire was still in control. The SF had been creating ships, the Republic/Jedi had just gone through 2 wars rather close together in which they got hit very hard. One victory in a battle is not the same as winning the war,no matter how bit the victory. The republic was in bad shape after the war with Malak. Revan leaves a year after the events of Knights, and there's 4 more years between then and when this game starts. It's not too hard to see how the Republic and the Jedi could have been beat in that amount of time against a force with the ships and manpower to go at them. Which the Sith had with or without the SF.
  4. How can silver and white be diffrent colors? They are almost exactly the same. That would be really dumb to make it 2 diffrent colors. They could make the silver one look like a mid/dark gray. I always assumed some were calling it silver and others white but they were the same one.
  5. i heard something about a black saber, is this just rumour? *Goes to say something, stops* I'm not even bringing that can of worms in here... Unconfirmed and something like that,if it's in,we pry won't find out about till much later.
  6. I was hoping for a real radical change, like it taking place 4,000 years after episode 4. I figured another SW game along the lines of Knights would be made and the I thought they might do something like that.*Points Up* I never really thought they'd do a sequal to Knights. That being said... Sith Lords looks like it's going to be a hell of a game IMO so I can't say I'm anywhere close to disappointed. Time will tell, but it looks good to me.
  7. he means white and silver, for those curious Silver and white? Interesting,I figured the silver/white saber were the same one and everyone was just calling it something different.
  8. do you know what lightsaber colours will be in KOTOR II? if so can you give us a list of them please Don't see them letting the info out of the bag...but it would be useful in another debate I'm in. ...
  9. I tried looking at the tables to figure the answer out to this question, but I can't really make heads or tails of them right now. Feats and Skills weren't really my department. I could figure them out with more time, but I have tons of work to do too. Sorry. -Akari Just have to wait and see when it comes out, thanks for looking though.
  10. er...well if the Jedi Council was around...it would kind of ruin the mood would it not? : But again, not what you were talking about I don't think. Sorry I have a "dirty" mind.
  11. you CAN love, but you should expect lots of trouble in that case (if the Jedi Council is around, that's it ). Oh no wait you pry didn't mean it like that...
  12. No wooing or anything like that. I am saying they should stick to how the Jedi view love: forbidden. The option should be there to do either one. Let the individual decide if they want to follow that rule or not.
  13. I don't know how finalized the table is that handles that, but currently the Sentinel starting class is still going to have substantially more skill points than the other two. It's something that is probably being looked at in the QA process. There's a lot more parameters that go into determining skill points per level than I have time to do the math on right now though. Is the Sen still going to end up with the same amount of feats as a Consular and the same number of force powers as a Guardian? Or has that been changed/fixed so the class is actually between the two? I.E. More feats then a Con but less then a Guardian? More force then a Guardian but less then a Con? It's probably going to be the latter case. I doubt it will be something that gets unlocked after your first pass through the game, though that is an interesting idea and something I'll pass along. There are plans for at least one thing that will be unlockable by completing the game though. Thanks. One unlockable? Is it the Atton swim suit calander?
  14. Asked this a tad too late last time around. If you play through the game once can you "unlock" color options the next time around? I doubt you'll have access to every color as soon as you get your saber. But if you play through it once and collect this color or that will there be a save option after you've beat the game that will allow you access to any/all you've found? Or will it be a case you just have to remember where you found what crystal if you want a certain one?
  15. Whats the point of playing a game where you are either the saviour or conqueror of the galaxy, and not want to get involved, in real life maybe its better to just sit on the fence but come on this is a game! i want to go to the extremes, somthing i cant do normally, it may be the path of choice for some people but i cant understand it myself, it wouldnt reward me in a gaming sense. Yes the ds was a little bit sh*t in the first game but TSL is promising to be loads better and i myself cant wait to see what chaos i can unleash I don't the question is to or to not get involved but rather how, when, and for what reason does one get involved. That's where the "gray" comes in. Obsviously in the game you're going to have to get involved to advance to story that's a given. But what I think of myself and what I think others mean by "gray" has more to do with the reason behind doing it and exactly how. Does one play everything by the book?(light) Does one do anything needed to get what they want? No matter who gets hurt or dies? For their own needs?(Dark) Or does one play in between the two?
  16. Agreed. But my point is, no is, or can be, truly and completely neutral. Would agree that the term neutral doesn't fit well. Gray fits better IMO. Gray falls between dark and light, you can have a light gray or dark gray, but it's still not the extreme.(Dark or Light.) Was Jolee neutral? No,he obviously wanted the Republic/Jedi to win over the sith. Could it be argued he wanted that while awile at the same time not himself being light in the extreme since of the word? I think it could.
  17. Agreed. Ultimately, people like Jolee were not definitely grey as he claims to be. When one says "Light Side" or "Dark Side" it's always taken as an extreme. There are thoes that may follow the light or dark side but simply not to the extreme that is usually thought of when it the names come up. Jolee wasn't as extreme as others in the Order. Did he fit in the light? More so then the dark yes,but he wasn't your typical Jedi. Which is what I think when someone says "gray" or neutral. He walked a path that he thought was correct without the leash the typical Jedi placed onto themselves. It's not exactly gray but it's not exactly light either. I think it'd be a little easier to walk that path leaning towards the light then the dark.
  18. The conversations at the start sound rather interesting too me. One of the parts I'm looking forward to playing around with in the game.
  19. how the f*ck is rainbow winnning i want the new colors but thats way too many I'm going to guess that most people, like myself, want to have a lot of options. The key word being there is options. If they're an options then those that want to can use them and those that don't will not have too. I don't think you're going to see a lot ,if any,Jedi/Sith in the game running around with Silver/white and orange or any other of the new colors. They'll pry be there for the player to use to allow those who want the option to have them on their character to do so without ruining the feel of things for the people who don't want to use the new colors. If you don't want a rainbow selections look at it this way,you can always sell the crystals you don't want to use.
  20. It's been said that you'll be able to choose to be male or female. Was pry just being used in as a general term.
  21. Ahhh....I see. Always possible I guess,I kind of got the feeling that it's rare but going to be considered a basic crystal. But who knows.
  22. Silver/white pry could be explained a little easier with real science to be fair. But either way, real science and the laws of the natural world have very little to do with those of the SW universe.
  23. Black light in this world? No. In the SW world?*Shrugs*Who's to say. Again, the lightsaber wouldn't exactly work in real life but I doubt there are that many people who'll be upset to see them in the game. Speaking just for the graphics alone I've seen it done very well with JK mods and what not. With either a lightish middle that gets darker as it goes out or a dark middle that gets lighter on the edges. And they were done by people who don't do this sort of thing for a living. So it could be placed into the game and still be seen. As for one buying it or not? That's all individual. I've never seen anyone blast lighting out of their hands irl but in the SW world it can be done. So when I see it I just go with it. But again that all depends on how far the Devs wish to push things in the game. Also let's not forget that it would be an option,so if you didn't like it just sell it. That is unless they gave them out to every average joe Jedi/Sith. Though I don't see that happening. Something like that would pry end up being a special one of kind item if it's in.
  24. If you play through the game once can you "unlock" color options the next time around? I doubt you'll have access to every color as soon as you get your saber. But if you play through it once and collect this color or that will there be a save option after you've beat the game that will allow you access to any/all you've found?
  25. On the question of saber colors, since there's confusion there... The original had 5 basic ones + 2 special ones (The orange and turquoise). Right now in KotOR2 there's at least 10 basic ones and an X number of special ones. Heh,you've just made my day. Thanks.
