Order of the Stick was my introduction to webcomics. Shortly afterwards someone around here showed me Ctr+Alt+Del. I have fallen in love with both.

I'm not going to bother. Anyone who thinks the Sims is evil and responds to serious emails with the word "duh" doesn't deserve my time. I just had an idea! All these lawyers and politicians are starting campaigns of anti-games and anti-violence. Let's start the Anti-Idiot Campaign!

Quiet... this is not a guns thread... you had one of those ages ago... it smelt terribly of testosterone... ick DL P.S. Blame Darkside for my response... she's unleashed the psycho fangirl in me :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aye, but you have to admit it is a pretty gun. What? Surely I'm not the only girl with a love of weapons? But please ignore the fact that I'm spamming my own thread. Carry on with your rambling DL.

Quiet you! No one insults Atlantis in my own thread! *Summons three wraith hive ships to obliterate Mus?*
-
Idiots. All of them. I'd kill them if I wasn't distrated by Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. See? One way games can actually prevent violence.
-
DL, Crimson, welcome! For a while there I thought this thread was doomed to die the slow and painful death of derailment before the fangirls even arrived. Now where is Royal and Silver with those Nicky Katt pictures? *looks at watch impatiently* In the meantime: That should do. ... for now.

He is Joe Flanigan, playing the part of Lt. Colonel John Shepard from Stargate: Atlantis. And he's hot. (It was also decided in the look-alike thread that he was a near perfect match as Atton, before it got locked. A moment of silence please. :'( :'( ) Edit: Darn you Archie! Foiled again!

I've noticed an alarming increase in fangirl (and fanboy) activity around here. For those who will derail any thread in hopes of rambling about their chosen idol *coughSilverRoyalDLShrykeMeandawholelotmorecough*, I thought it might be best to try and contain it to a single thread. So here we are. Talk about your favorite singer, actor (or actress), and characters and remember one thing: it's okay to admit you're a rabid fangirl/boy. I figured I'd get the ball rolling with a few of my favorites: And here's one that I love for a different reason than the others. I have never in my life seen a character that acts so much like yours truly. Canada rocks! There's dozens that I left out just so you guys could take over for me. But if you don't mention one of favorites, I'll have to come back and do all the ranting myself. *Dun Dun Duuuuun* P.S. I know the Hoff will show up around here somewhere, just try not to make the thread all Hoff, will ya?

I find this helps. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gold. Thanks, I feel better already. ^_^

Agreed. I'd rather be killed instantly by a bomb than burned at the stake or crucified. But I suppose we can't let it get to us. We run a risk everytime we get out of bed in the mornings. All you can do is keep living and live each day like there's no tommarrow (except you should always do homework, just in case the apocalypse is late). My prayers go to the families and friends of all the victims and to any surviving victims.

I speak Amerikun. It's a form of English that has been butchered, rearranged, coded, and otherwise altered beyond recognition.

Things you wish a KOTOR2 character would say......
Darkside replied to Topaz Quasar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's supposed to mean that there's an opening in the opponent's guard, giving him a chance to land a hit. But some people think it has another meaning... -

Darkside replied to Hircine's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That's also what I got from it... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Me too, but I'm not getting my hopes up. If they make it, they make it. If they don't, I'll have to take matters into my own hands... " -
I really don't know. I have a bad habit of trying to play hero, but I don't know if I would go that far... It's really impossible to know for sure how you would react until faced with the situation. I pray I never have to find out.

My favorite is black (I'm starting to see a pattern around here), but I'm going to paint my room a stormy gray (the one with just a hint of blue). That's a beautiful color right there.

KOTOR II Character and Voice Talent Appreciation
Darkside replied to Royal_Nonesuch's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I was wondering when you were going to stop in lol. Here's another pic for Nick appreciation. I like this one because some people in "look-a-likes" thought Hilary Swank looked like one of the female Revan models. Royal <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's starting again... I will not give into the temptation!!! ... Too late. -
Well that just broke my heart and allowed me a celebratory smile or two as well - thanks! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :'( Me too. And I've only ever watched four or five episodes. But Ender's right, I'm sure there are plenty of people who have died wishing they had done something more with their lives.

The most exciting/horrible moment in K2
Darkside replied to <SP's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I still say the scene on Dantooine where it switches from the masters to Kreia back and forth was very dramatic. "You were wounded." "You were whole." "You were blinded." "At last you could see." etc., etc., etc. -
Agreed. Psychos.
-
Stop! No more Joe! I'm on the verge of going into fangirl mode! Any more pictures and the damage could be irreversable... Joe Flanigan. Star Gate Atlantis.

Funny, I was thinking Baley.
-
Dern that looks cool. But you're probably right about it being cut, unless it allows him to talk to T3.
-
I've dreamed about convincing my best friend to jump into a pool of quicksand in the middle of an arcade in a swamp, but instead of dying he was transported into some kind of green underworld. Analyze that!

No no, surely you mean: "KATT FIGHT! KATT FIGHT! KATT FIGHT!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
