  1. I'm still sort of in favor of you gaining DS points (even miniscule amounts) for using DS powers if you are a LSer. Not enough to go from Luke Skywalker to the Emperor if you use Force Lightning once or twice, but enough that it actually portrays the whole "must be able to use powers wisely" motto the Jedi employ.
  2. "Only if it doesn't interfer with the game play and time permits"
  3. I don't agree with this. I thought K2 had more genuine "DS" moments. As for people who say they "can't" play DS because it makes them feel icky, I don't understand this. You're playing a video game. Detach yourself from being a baby and just take on a role of a villain. Do you say "I can't play this" when it comes to games like Grand Theft Auto where you have to shoot people and steal cars?
  4. Pretty much my feelings on the matter. If they want to make a MMORPG based on Star Wars, then I'd hope they either a)improve upon SWG, or b)create a whole new experience. Rather than tamper with the current KOTOR format. IMO, it's like saying "I loved Baldurs Gate. But maybe if they made it an action game instead where you control the swords and arrows!". It would pretty much ruin what Baldurs Gate is all about.
  5. Why July? Is that when you return to your spaceship?
  6. I agree Volourn. On a list of what's important to me, graphics isn't very high. However, it is still ON that list for me to enjoy it unless the rest of the features can absolutely blow me away. A perfect example of this for me is the KOTOR series. The graphics aren't top notch in comparison to other current games, but they're good enough to allow me to overlook the graphics aspect of the game.
  7. I'm still waiting for that autographed poster of you.
  8. Exactly. Even the movies, the main planets that we see action take place on (aside from Coruscant) are mainly Outer Rim, or atleast not necessarily Core worlds. Bespin, Hoth, Endor, Naboo, Geonosis, etc. are not within the Core.
  9. Or Darque ... that is close enough. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ouch.
  10. Was it really necessary to post this in multiple forums (multiple times)?
  11. I still haven't seen it. I wonder when the lines will start dying down and I won't have to deal with packed theatres anymore. Would I be safe by next week?
  12. I finally got around to doing the survey. Hopefully they listen to my comments. "
  13. It's for her next role, I believe. Either that or she's taking fashion advice from Sionade O'Connor.
  14. Hey, you never know how much a signed photo could go for on Ebay.
  15. I don't care about the mod. I just want my personalized autograph from Aurora since she's now a celebrity. :D
  16. This might be better off in the Way Off Topic forum, since it has nothing to do with KOTOR II, and really don't have much to do with the discussion of Star Wars per se, but rather about piracy.
  17. I take it Fallout3, Baldurs Gate 3, and KOTOR 3 weren't announced at E3? "
  18. This is one of the reasons I'm slowly moving towards console gaming (waits for death threats). When it comes to games where even the slightest bit of "twitch" gaming is required, I enjoy it more on console than PC. Games like BG, PST, and even KOTOR are okay and a lot of times better on the PC, but a game like JE is better suited (control wise) to a console, IMHO.
  19. To get us in the mood for the upcoming movie, my buddy decided to rent this game for the X-Box. Suffice to say, it was a waste of his money. The game is incredibly short, the combat is repetitive (mash buttons), and the camera angle is atrocious. More than anything the camera angle annoyed me. You can't manually shift the camera around like you can in games like KOTOR or JE, so half the time I'm being shot at from off screen and I've gotta run blindly towards the enemy until he comes on screen. This would have been a bigger problem if the game wasn't so easy. I'm not sure what Lucasarts was thinking, but they definitely took multiple short cuts in making this game. At the very least, they could have allowed the player to manually adjust the camera angle so you could actually SEE the enemies shooting at you. Gamespot gave it a 6.3, but I think that's being generous. I'd give it a solid 2 or 3 out of 10, but mainly because the graphics are good and some of the lightsaber strikes are kinda cool.
  20. Labirynth of Evil, because it sets the tone for Revenge of the Sith. But otherwise, I'd have voted for Shatterpoint in terms of pure writing and enjoyment.
  21. I was bored and browsing the Lucasarts main page and saw this little tidbit of information. I wonder if Lucasarts will screw up this franchise as it did with some of the shoddy products in the Star Wars franchise.
  22. That's a pretty shallow list of RPG on the horizon.
  23. I scanned that page which was linked a couple of days ago, but most of the titles didn't have a description (I don't think?) so I have no idea what genre they are. Can anyone give me a list of RPG that were shown at E3, and which of these actually look good so far (or show a bit of promise)?
