Hmm I wonder why a lot of people want a master to be killed off. If your master does get killed off, I don't want an emotionless death (like Kreia getting her hand cut off). I want a death that evokes emotion like Obi-wan's death.

I assume the timeline will be progressed. During the same year as k2 the jedi council is being rebuilt and there are other jedi around. You know this as the Disciple said someone has been going throughout the galaxy taking holocrons that belong to jedi or tell the reader where the jedi are. Atris didn't want the exile to find anyone but the 3 masters in k2. Atris had the ambitions to be a goddess pretty much of her own jedi order. But there are still jedi masters out there. Like Jolee Bindo might still be around and we might even see him in Kotor 3 as a jedi master (man it will be cool if the geezer was our master).

Head Salvager. Just don't talk to her if you plan on using the infinite exp glitch or you want to find specific items. For example I had to go through 6 saves just so the salavager merchant carried Jedi knight robes.

Once again we can't educate the children the difference between Racisim and specisim.

Yeah the second one wasn't far behind as some of the features they implemented really made it more starwars. Like turning allies into jedi, wearing *real* jedi robes really made the game cool for me. I just wish now that some kind of Kotor download content will replace all the robes with Kotor 2 style ones lol

The person who voted equal probably didn't play K1 in years. After recently finishing Kotor 1 I find it WAY better than k2. The only thing that k2 really beats K1 (that is fun) is simply the fact that K2 had real robes while K1 didn't. K2 had some stupid features like random loot (more like rushing). -Influence system that made you play the game for 10 times to get ALL of the story (which was still incomplete) -Enemies didn't really even pose a threat -Why are there more than 2 sith lords??!???!?? -What happen to the infinite fleet? K1 was overall sucessful as the game was action packed. Lets compare the first chapter in k1 to K2. K1 you awake on board a Republic crusier which is being attacked and you're contacted by your bunk mate whom the both of you repel the borders and you get a holomessage from carth telling everyone to abandon ship you fight through the ship and crash land onto a planet into the next chapter k2 lets see, you awake naked, you stay naked. you going around an empty mining base for 4 hours doing nothing but fixing a deserted station so a friggin door will open to the Ebon hawk.. Seriously anyone with a brain can see that K1 has a better beginning and end when compared to K2. I don't even consider the story of k2. If K2 had no added features or content (like the robes) the reveiwers would of rated medicore simply because the story is dirt

I would think Courascant will make it in. Considering K3 timeline will take place after K2 during the Jedi order rebuilding (unless they aim at a huge timeline leaps). I also want to see Tatioone, Tatioone is just a cool city. I guess Kotor 3 could feature Mos Espa as when Czerka leaves, many of the residents of Anchorhead will be stuck on the planet as they can't afford to get off the planet (like that woman who was begging for money in Kotor). Other planets I would like to see -Aldaraan -Tatioone -Coreilla (with Talus and Centerpoint station?) -Ossus (possibly to undercover force knowledge) -Korriban -Kashyyk (Wookiees won the war)

The whole idea is replayability. Believe it or not Kotor 2 didn't have nearly as much replayability as the original. Well unless you consider the fact that the devs forced you to play the game over 9 times to hear all of the main story because of the dumb influence system.

new heads for Exile on kotor 2
MTJ replied to Darth_Onivega's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah I keep on wondering why they presented us with some bad heads. In General all the females had HORRIBLE hair. Very horrible. The same goes for the guys, a lot of the faces were dumb. The only head I really liked was the Chinese guy with hair -
I think a senital with a lightsaber can pull it off. Though I wouldn't advise soloing till you get a lgithsaber

Stop the whole Exile + Raven fighting the Sith.

My character had a high intelligence so I found out Kreia was sith like in first 5 minutes of Telos -

If they set the identity (the whole 9 yards...voice acting, etc) then K3 is really easy to write and in a satisfying way. But that is the problem...alot of people will presumably be upset with that. That's why I recommend a split approach. I think it works. Let Revan continue to be the shadowy Charlie figure in the series even after this trilogy is wrapped up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They shouldn't give player the option. We know for a fact that Raven is truely a male (in varius Encylopedias). But I don't want to see who is truely making the next KOTOR 3 unfinished because they spent half of their time (like Obsidian) making 4 different verisons of the game. Also there shouldn't be any influence system, that is what totally screw up K2. It isn't fun to play a game 10 times to get enouch influence from every character to understand the story. -
Stuff like that is cool, and I'd love it. The only "problem" with it is that it becomes a design mess. In order for it to be good, the options need to be fully fleshed out, which means you'd be programming the equivalent of many games in one. If the bulk of the truly unique stuff was in sidequests, then it'd be more plausible, as long as the main storyline still in someway acknowledges the choices that you have made in the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I am pretty sure the main story line will be the same for all starting classes, though you get different side quests. Like to get to the main ending, you as an officer of the Republic must inflitrate the Sith base (with the bad guy) with a squad of commandos and capture the sith lord. Or if you're a bounty hunter your last mission will be to capture that sith lord Or if you're a jedi your mission is to destroy the sith lord.. I just don't want K3 to be a complete jedi game give us some roleplaying options
-
I think players should get a real choice for their starting class. I want the choice of starting as a soldier and having my prestigse class being an officer, I want to be a scout with my prestigse class being a bounty hunter. Or if I am a jedi fan I want to be able to start a guardian and become a weaponmasters ( I think you get a point). I think being able to choose your starting class for whatever you want would allow a lot of replayability. What Kotor 2 did really bad in is that every new game you started the game play was entirely the same. Maybe in k3 if you go the soldier route you can end up commanding a squad of NPC soldiers to assit you (on specific missions) or if you're a bounty hunter you can go on a quest tree to hunt jedi masters or prey.

The thing is that mods will never come out. There is simply no modders who are going to risk the time to create a mod for this game. Plus Kotor is FULLY voiced acted, sure programming isn't hard to some people but they don't have the time to find good voice actors. You see most modders modding FPS games like battlefield and half-life. Expecting mods for KOTOR 2 is like expecting a million dollars showing up on your lawn

I never liked Visas. I always thought that she was the Handmaiden's darkside apperance (really) but instead of keeping it that way they quickly rushed a character all together and made it a Sith Lord. Which is most possibly the gayest thing. There are 3 Sith lords (who teh heck is the leader) and they have a 4th sithlord/padawan.

Stop the whole Exile + Raven fighting the Sith.
MTJ replied to MTJ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Aye thank god all your Reven and Exile fanbois are not developers otherwise we will end up with another KOTOR 2. Whom everyone goes "WTF, WTH" when the game ends after your main character, Reven and Exile go out and buy donuts at the donut ship right next to the jedi temple on Cournsant -
Bored so who did you hate the most from both KotOR
MTJ replied to Kalfear's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Mical is pretty bad. You pump him up as a big soldier and he ends up sucking a lot simply because he becomes a consular. When it comes to KOTOR, I always found that converting Handmaiden and Mical were pretty bad choices. Both have very low force points and lose a feat every turn. You can turn them both into Tera Kasi badasses, or pimp them with melee or range weapons. They just suck period as a jedi as you have to share jedi resources with them like robes and upgrades -
Yellow lightsaber for myself. Unless I am darkside than it's a red lightsaber

Stop the whole Exile + Raven fighting the Sith.
MTJ replied to MTJ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Ok who said the game can't be KOTOR without Raven. The person who said that was a retard KOTOR= Knights of the old republic. The game could in theory take place 20,000 years ago before Raven, or 5-20 years after Ep3. The Imperial senate (ie. the Republic) didn't die till a New Hope -
The time it will take to get to level 35 using a lightsaber would take ages when compared to spamming force lighting

Obsidian why was the game generally too easy?
MTJ replied to MTJ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why does everyone blame Lucasarts. Obsidian had the choice to NOT release it. -
When I was playing my Lightside game I couldn't even recover my force powers at all. I was able to gain like 2000 exp from using force storm but I found out that my force regen was so slow. Like it took 2 hours to fully recover <_< How can I increase my force regan in the cave?

Some of the dark side faces were pretty bad. I choose that blad chinese with the goatee and I never EVEN develop one vein. I just got very very pale. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> whew thanks man maybe I'll give it another run than (but Atton still looks disturbing) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess if you're a person who enjoys not getting all the ugly veins. Go with the bald chinese head with the goatee. Though having the veins is what makes you look scary hehe. But I agree.. Atton is the most distrubing darkside face. ever.

Also I made a DS game eariler this week though I stopped playing as I hadn't even found one padawan robe on Datoonie.. grr. Aside from Datoonie, it's pretty hard to find jedi stuff. Maybe it had to do with me choosing that Raven saved the jedi order.
