  1. Can't expect a serious converstation when people think jedi killing another species if "racisit"
  2. Advance throw ligthsaber is the LS equivanlent of force storm. You must truely be mad
  3. Stupid topic creator didn't include Kreia. She shouldn't of existed in the first place, she sucks.
  4. Same. Peragus is a good 3 hours and Telos is a good 2-3 hours.. btw I am a fast player. Taris only takes me like 3 hours and than you're right at Datoonie and you become a jedi padawan
  5. Yeah seeing all the masters get killed by Kreia was such a twist.. Keep is up Obsidan?
  6. Well there are only two kotor games lmao. If you're talking about all RPGS. heck no. There are dozens of RPGs.. I know you don't consider a game that was released more than 2 years ago a game. But there are plenty of games released more than 3 years ago that easily smite K2
  7. Yeah and threw in a bad twist to get there. I am pretty sure they didn't all agree to such a stupid idea. Developer: "Oh lets get these 3 hardcore jedi masters killed by a fragile old witch" Developer2: OMG BEST IDEA EVAR!
  8. Why would you compare a scienece ficiton Roleplaying game to a middle earth one? YOu are truely mad
  9. You can't have a lightsaber be clear. How can you make plasma that is invisable? You can't!. Also I don't think a guy with a black lightsaber swinging down guards left to right will remained Sealth. You do know that lightsabers make a lot of noise right?
  10. I voted Jedi as the dark side of the game seems rather incomplete. If it wasn't for an exploit that allowed Infinite exp, I wouldn't even touch DS. Someone said something about the sith always being there. Even though the true sith were destroyed (Palpatine) there are still the believers. Heck in Jedi Academy there is a cult of Sith who are trying to raise a dead sith lord.
  11. K2 HAD no story. So I voted k1
  12. well, I think alignment is a misnomer. Force Sight should really be showing the hostility to the PC / party. But how is that possible? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think this topic is about the game. I think all jedi should get the push/pull line and jump. Though I think speed is a force technique that one must learn, along with sense/sight. But if you're talking about real life I would probably want push/pull Push/Pull [ 7 ] ** [31.82%] Jump [ 3 ] ** [13.64%] Speed [ 5 ] ** [22.73%] Sense/Sight [ 7 ] ** [31.82%]
  13. Umm Obi-Wan never went through the trails I think. He was given Knightship after sucessfully defeating Darth Maul and taking Anakain as his apprentice. Remember the scene with Yoda? Obi-wan is a padawan and he's asking that the Council will support him in his training of Anakin. Yoda at first refuses but than agrees. That infact caused Obi-wan to be promoted to Jedi knight as padawans cannot be masters to other jedi padawans. Also I think an masterless padawan would probably either have to wait for a master, if none could be found. He would probably be given the chance to complete the jedi knight trails, if not you end up being a washed out jedi whose lightsaber gets confiscated by the council. I can't remember who but someone (a character) said that force users and jedi padawans (I guess the masterless or ones whose masters are killed) are sent to Telos to be farmers
  14. Oh I edited my post to saying I preferred Jolee. Yeah but remember in the case of Disiciple in Kotor 2? He didn't get transferred to another jedi master simply because of the lack of them. Which will be the case of K3. At best I only expect atleast two dozen jedi masters left. That doesn't leave many transferships right? Considering that they would probably all have their own padawan <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bastila was not a Master and yet she mentored you in the Force early on...Jolee could be a mentor early on, no question. One thing I remember about Mical the Disciple is that he teaches you . Nothing wrong with learning some tricks from those less powerful than you. That was a really good idea, I thought. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> not in the game I was playing she wasn't my mentor. Bastilla accompanies you. Not trains you. Damn. Where you smoking pot while playing. Also bastilla was promoted to Jedi Knight right after she captured Reven. Plus in K2 it tells us who were Reven's master. Bastilla was NOT one of them. Bastilla didn't even mentored Reven once, she accompanied him/her.
  15. I think the guy meant was. If your a padawan and your master dies, you become a jedi knight. Though that doesn't happen in SW as padawans go back into the pool like you said.
  16. I voted Malak as we never actually got to know how Raven was as a sith.
  17. Zeek out master Zhar young Suke Derwalker! (haha I always hated the name s they had in the generators)
  18. Well, the padawan is always with the Master, so if the padawan survives, then instant Masterhood. The only issue would be if the padawan were not with their Master at the time of death (off on a side quest, say) -- then, that would be a good hook for the plot. Maybe have to prove yourself ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah I bet that why Obi-wan was so pissed because anakain joined the sith within months of the jedi knight trial. Offically Obi-wan is a jedi knight who had a padawan (like all Jedi knights at some point) but as Anakain never became a jedi knight, Obi-wan could never become an offical master
  19. Well, the padawan is always with the Master, so if the padawan survives, then instant Masterhood. The only issue would be if the padawan were not with their Master at the time of death (off on a side quest, say) -- then, that would be a good hook for the plot. Maybe have to prove yourself ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What they could do is that your master is being held by <Insert next sith cult/sith wannabe faction> and you have been given an offer to join their ranks by killing your master, or you can save your master and remain on the lightside/neutral path
  20. Oh I edited my post to saying I preferred Jolee. Yeah but remember in the case of Disiciple in Kotor 2? He didn't get transferred to another jedi master simply because of the lack of them. 21. I am in favor of having Jolee for the defualt master at the beginning. The old geezer is just cool and he is probably a member of the new jedi order council
  22. starting off with a mentor and then about halfway through he dies and his Force Ghost guides you through the endgame (and directs you to other mentors). that is some classic Star Wars fare. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah the master has to die. The reason why originally GL killed him off as Obi-Wan faded into the background. Where just having him had no point. That is pretty much going to be the same thing in k3 if they go the padawan/master route. Half way of the game you're starting to find that having a master with you is having less and less of an impact. Though what they could do is making the pc a padawan and your master a jedi knight. Jedi knights get one padawan before becoming a master (in the new, old jedi order.. ep1 one which is the one being created after k2) So maybe half way in the game your pc will pass the trails and become a jedi knight and be given knightship while your jedi knight master becomes an offical master.
  23. Crap game? You're an idoit. Crap story? You must be smoking some pot. Kotor has won the RPG of the year and probably is Lucasart's best selling game ever. I must say that KOTOR's story was implemented perfectly. It had climaxes and much emotion throughout. It also had scenes that made the game felt like you were playing/watching a movie. K2 was a seriously downgrade when compared to k1.
  24. Yeah, and he would have made what I would call an excellent *secondary teacher*. A secondary teacher teaches you a new form or two and maybe a new feat but they only have a little to offer. (Too bad K1 really did not do that). Your *primary teacher* needs to fit like a 2-year-old pair of tennis shoes. That's why we need a decent selection and not get stuck with someone we hate. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I am ok whoever it is. I just don't want to see another K2 universe thing where you choose the univese you're in. It's pointless. I would want to see a strict jedi master, not one who's a neutral douchbag like Kreia.
