Pretty sure they will have working jet packs. There's a description of the bounty hunter class on the TOR site. Z-axis in a BioWare game. That should be fun.

I tried, but no one pays me for masturbating, eating good food, and role-playing.

There are more exclamation points in this thread then there are in all the other threads in on the front page. Also, half the comments are by Purkake (79) and Morgoth (46).

It appears Google Wave 'documents' are collaberative like wikis. What does that mean? When I send hawt wave porn to my friends, can some yanker come along and change my main character's name to Britney Spears? -
You want to know why Sith guys are so pissy? Other parts of them have fallen off as well. Edit: Very, very nice video. Will Bounty Hunters actually be able to fly though?

The site design fine, but I get the feeling Dragon Age is having identity issues though. It's on its third producer now.

L4D totally gave players their money's worth. Gamers have bizzare ideas on what should be in a sequal. "Batman 2 has the SAME main character in the SAME city with mostly the SAME abilities and the SAME supporting cast. There's two new characters and the story is still about Batman fighting crime. Rip-off. They should have had this in the original movie or released it as a free DVD."

Yesterday, I slept from 6:30 to 9:45 and woke up half-dead. I went to my meeting with the webguy, which was as useless as I thought it would be. Last night, I crawled into bed at 10 pm then woke up at 2:05 am full of energy. What the hell body? At 4:53 a storm started. I live in a desert

Relic developing Warhammer 40k action RPG

The Tau or the modern Eldars are the closest I've seen to good guys. That said, which warrior group shows more single-minded dedication and devotion: Space Marines or Warrior Path Eldar? Since I -

I'm not sure. After you posted the link, I hit the Windows Update button, it downloaded something else first*, and then I hit the update button again and SP2 appeared. I install updates at least once a week so that shouldn't be the problem. Do you have Trend Micro? I tried to install XP SP3 on my boss' computer and it wouldn't let me do it until I disabled that. *The latest Windows Defender and the Compatability View List for Windows Vista. Edit: Do you have the pre-release version of the service pack? If so, delete it first. Do you have Windows Server 2008 running on your computer? If so, update it first. Did you install the May 4th 'Update to Windows Vista'? If not, you might want to do so. Here are some other updates I have (no idea if they apply to you): Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 2 .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 You also might want to look at the System Update Readiness tool. This has a x32 and x64 version.

E3 finally caught a clue. It's a media event and hype machine. You can't do that if you only have 'qualified' industry types. I don

It takes only one sperm and one egg to create a child. The average man makes 85 million sperm per day per testicle. Over an 11 year period, that's 682,550,000,000 sperms. The question isn't 'How can one man have 21 kids?' but 'Why are the rest of you so lazy?'

I certain unnamed thread got me to re-install Oblivion. I'm enjoying myself so I obviously have no taste. How should I end it all? a) Hari kari b) Clutch an asp to my breast c) Self-immolation d) Autoerotic asphyxiation e) Watch Spike TV for a week to induce a vegetative state

As Oner suggested, seeing a trailer to a game one hasn't played can cause the same interest or anticipation as participating in a thread for a game that one hasn't played. That said, if raising anticipation is a worthwhile

1) I never said they had to be for games that were already released. 2) What's the point of a thread talking about games that haven't been released yet? 20 pages of speculation and guessing about BioShock 2, FO: NV, and Dragon Age 2 isn't inherently more 'pointful' than linking to trailers.

We have a tendency to be a tad critical on this board, so I thought it would be interesting to focus on the positive. Video game trailers. There are some interesting, funny, and moving trailers out there. Not to mention those trailers that make you think OMG, I want that game! For instance, the E3 2008 trailer set to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star is scarier than the last two Alien movies. Then there's the 'Breathe Me' trailer for the latest . It shows off the cool moves of the game while showing its lyrical nature. I also like this trailer, though as I understand it, GoW is not a mellow and melancholy game. For something light hearted, how about the Meet the Team movies, Valve created for the launch of Team Fortress 2? I remember how awesome I thought Mirror

There's no offical word on the matter. Warcraft is campy and cartoony on purpose. Warhammer is so ultra badass, grim, and hyperviolent, it’s like , which is campy and cartoony. -
Can someone point me to a mod that gives me 3 x5 to distribute at level up? You'd think this would be the easiest mod in the world to make, but damned if I can find it.

All and all, biotics are the most powerful characters in the game. This is partially because the pistol is the strongest weapon in the game. I wonder if in ME2, you'll have to carry all four weapons even if you character can only use the pistol?

I think Oblivion was a low point in Bethesda's history BUT I still think it was an okay game. On the other hand, IWD 2 is party-based hack and slash, for me, while with NWN, on the expansion packs are good.
-
Bad taste... NWN1 and IWD2 are light-years beyond Oblivion in terms of gameplay and quality (excluding graphics of course, which is normal since those games weren't released at the same time as Oblivion). Oblivion and NWN1 both have horrible main plots. Unfortunately, in NWN, all there is is the plot. Oblivion's journal is easier to navigate and the ability to tag quests is a nice one. The problem is the way the journal was tied into compass. If you liked Morrowind forcing you to find something yourself then Oblivion's method wasn't as fun. If you liked Oblivion helping you then Morrowind method was less fun. The stealth mechanics were the same in both games. What are you referring to?
-
Right. We've talked about Oblivion to death. We posters on a game developer's forum. A game developer whose RPG style is radically different from Bethesda
