  1. Warner Brothers for B5.
  2. A Star Trek RPG similar to Mass Effect could easily be made. There's enough races that could be used as antagonists threatening the known galaxy -- the Borg, Tholian Assembly, Breen but most interesting would be Species 8472. The player character could be some 'veteran' or 'newbie' Starfleet officer sent off in a ship travelling around several planets looking for allies & clues on how to fight the 'evil'. I can see this... kind of, but you'd have to have a one heck of a work around for the main character not having money. 1) You could make a Federation citizen who isn't part of Starfleet. 2) There is currancy in Star Trek and the replicator can't make everything. 3) No, the state does not just hand out ship and weapon parts to anyone who wants one. 4) 'The Federation' is actually a collection of different governments who often disagree with one another. As of the end of DS9, it's also in a state of economic, diplomatic, and military turmoil. The question isn't if someone could make a good Star Trek RPG. The first time I had any interest in Star War was Kotor I and II because a good developer can take any popular setting and create a good RPG out of it.
  3. He said it was how he pictured me. You'd just trying to steal some of that awesome Maria mojo. You DID know that turning V-Sync off makes it pretty ok, right? (The game was still a borefest, though...) I loved the game. I just haven't been able to finish it because it's too scary. (Yes, I know ) I didn't know about v-sync until I did know. That makes my experience no less maddening or funny.
  4. How can a science fiction fan not watch the Twilight Zone? It even had Captain Kirk when he was good looking. DS9 is a very popular series. Thought I prefered Babylon 5, which aired at the same time.
  5. That avatar looks familiar.
  6. I am sure a niche of gamers will adore AoD, some will dislike it, and the majority will never hear of it.
  7. Purkake, Is that from an episode of the Twilight Zone? Original IPs? In a RPG video game? The only developers who do that are BioWare, and people constantly complain about how unoriginal they are.
  8. Everyone is due respect.
  9. My bosses have abandoned me again! I've finished all the work I have. There's still a large amount of work to be done, but my boss has it all at home. Frustrating. Outside my office window, two birds appear to be engaged in courtship of some sort. The colorful one is dancing around the lawn with his wings spread out. He occationally plucks a worm from the ground and wiggles it in front of the drab looking one's face. She's keeping her distence, but I can tell she's impressed.
  10. Somewhere on the board is a post about the horrors I experienced with the mouse control on Dead Space. It was maddening at the time, but thinking back, it's damn funny.
  11. And leave poor Liara to raise ShepBaby all alone?
  12. To be more accurate, the city is in ruins. Hasn't Luskan experienced a similar fate in 4e? Yes and no. Neverwinter was Neverwinter because the river that flowed through it created a magical, permanently warm climate, but that river is now gone. It went from a sophisticated metropolitan city to ruins with lots of dead bodies and rubble. Lusken was always a hive of scum and villainy, and it still is. The Arcane tower is in ruins, the three bridges have collapsed, and there
  13. To be more accurate, the city is in ruins.
  14. Would be kinda hard to 'splain that in-game. is the sword coast gone as well? if so then there's a BGIII issue, too! taks edit: whatever will ramza do?! Baldur's Gate is now the largest and most prosperous city on the Sword Coast. Of course, BG II had nothing to do with that city and it did well, so I
  15. Gorth, you managed to get me to pick up the Dark Heresy core book. It's good stuff so far. I'd prefer to play a female Space Marine though.
  16. I've had several indoor cats, and they were all healthy and happy.
  17. I don't recall that he sacrified anything. In fact, as he started out the son of a bandit and ended up a powerful warlord and noble, I'd say he gained a great deal. They weren't bandits, they were part of the resistance. And whatever he gained, he didn't seek, his motives were entirely selfless. None of those were Loghian sacrificing anything.
  18. For a single player RPG, sure. But I can't see that system working for an MMO, especially when it comes to spells. Can you imagine being a level 1 mage? * Log on * Cast three spells * Log off for 24 hours.
  19. Looks photoshopped.
  20. 4e is the devil! Maybe they could call it the Never Neverwinter Nights? 4e is great. 'Neverwinter Naughts'
  21. Not feeling it, but the feather physics are nice.
  22. I don't recall that he sacrified anything. In fact, as he started out the son of a bandit and ended up a powerful warlord and noble, I'd say he gained a great deal.
  23. I'm not a gentleman.
  24. Loghain wasn't a good guy in the novel. What makes you think he's one in the game?
