I think he knows what he was talking about. He was implying that the other Sith (The Sith that persuaded the Mandalorians to attack the Republic) are responsible for hell breaking loose in the galaxy. Regardless of how Kotor ends, these Sith come in and create all kinds of trouble. With a weakened republic or a building Sith Empire, there are a ton of weak spots and they could have been exploited by these Sith. It seems likely to me that this could have happened.

True, but Obsidian could develop a concept for a game and present it to LA. If Obsidian's proposal was good enough, then the game would have a possibility of being made. Unfortunately, you are 100% correct about LA having the final word in what Star Wars games are made.

They had the Rakata on the site before the game was released? That is lame... The whole unknown world is unknown and you find out about it in the game. It shouldn't have been on the site! As for this game, I don't think we need any more info on the characters. We have quite a bit and I would prefer to experience things in the game.

Well, I was kind of hoping for the game to make it random, but it is ok the way they have it. I will be choosing something everytime so it doesn't really matter for me. It is nice to see the lead designer posting topics. Thanks Chris!

Also check out the ign previews, gamespot previews and Akari's Weekend Programmer threads. That is where most of the info is coming from. Oh, and Chris Avellone has been posting some stuff, but that is pretty recent.

Because that is the cool hardcore thing to do. Personally, I like the lightsaber. But your party members aren't all Jedi and it is fun to give them the best gear.
