  1. Oh! OMG Really? *makes sure he watches Episode III* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry about that. I really should have put a spoiler tag for those who didn't want Episode III ruined for them about Revan's appearance. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed you ruined it, but at least we all know that GL wants to make us happy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm pretty gullible, but I just can't believe that......but if turned out to be true, maybe I'll see Episode III for that, and to see Vader's cameo.
  2. I just want a sequel on the next wave of consoles, rebuilt and delayed to perfection (if necessary) -- I just want it to be everything it can! This one was worth the wait, but I would have waited longer if I had to.....
  3. I absolutely agree -- it's allzabout being manipulative.
  4. there are multiple endings though, so you should replay it if yer dissatisifed with the ending received -- I know I will! Like I've said before, I didn't think the LS ending for KOTOR1 was too good, and the DS ending barely better, but it was the journey, both times, that made KOTOR so memorable and replayable to me. I see the same happening with this one.
  5. seriously, as soon as I experience a game-breaking glitch, I'll report ASAP. But as is, from the sounds of things, this board is almost in hysterics with bug/glitch talk.....sure, this game lacks the polish of other high-profile games, but it's as playable/replayable as the last game, imho. I already have ideas for my replay(s)!
  6. I'm in Nar Shadda now -- I'll keep an eye out on this game-breaker, but to let you know, I haven't gotten any bugs, black screens or freezes. The only thing I've noticed is lack of polish here and there (NPCs running in cirlces, party-members "warping" to position on the world map, etc. -- not big deals at all, imho).....
  7. I'm just under 30 hours into the game now, and haven't encountered freezes or game-breaking bugs (I only had a single freeze in the last game as well) -- the only things I see are aimlessly wandering NPCs (runnin in circles at times), somewhat awkward transitions, and a few other rough edges (like framerate), but yeah, the last game also hade it's framerate drops, glitches, etc. -- none of that has hindered my enjoyment of this game. I dislike the loading screens, but still, I can't play this game enough.
  8. Alot of people like the game...myself included...I bet if this was the first KOTOR game out people would dismiss most of the complaints and hail it as the king of games..unfortuanetly, following up KOTOR, people expected a step up..not more bugs than the first..which is where most of the complaints come from. The storytime seems to be more intricate than I had thought after beating it a second time..so I am actually beginning to like the ending..weird. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> whew! There's hope I won't committ suicide upon seeing the games ending(s) afterall!
  9. Xenon is the codename I believe for the next iteration of Xbox....I'm hoping with the next generation of consoles that they utilize my HDTV moreso than they are now!
  10. KOTOR was out of nowhere for me -- I didn't expect it to be good, since it was a licensed RPG, especially SW, to be honest. But then I read-up on the gameplay, and put aside my feelings for Episode I, and definitely am glad I did! The game made me a fan again.
  11. dunno yet -- I'll have to play and replay KOTOR 2 before I can make a final judgment, but lemme tell ya that KOTOR1 is my favorite RPG to-date, thanks to the great gameplay (love the combat system), the story and characters (Jolee was the man, and Revan, well, she was vicious!), superb voice-acting (it adds so much if done right, imho), replay value (twice, and started a 3rd and 4th -- I buy too many games), and a decent challenge on Difficult. I'm finding that KOTOR2 is harder (started on Difficult) and there seems to be much more action. Also, I am enjoying the dialogue options more, as they're more varied and not so obvious in their morality......I'm really enjoying getting to know the new characters as well.
  12. i've heard about this one several times, but didn't experience it -- sorry i can't help
  13. seriously, they're much better and hey, some of the new armor is really sweet too! I got some last night that were Light Armor, but still allowed for upgrades, and most importantly, Force Powers
  14. they should definitely take their time to make an epic 3rd installment -- I'd follow it to any next next-gen console (PS3 or Xenon, preferrably!)
  15. sweet -- I thought so! I'll be replaying this for awhile.
  16. Sounds like a review comin from someone who doesn't enjoy talking to NPCs or character development, imho
  17. lol, I didn't dig that ending! It was ok, anyway.....I was more disappointed in the Sin fight though, as he died in almost 2 rounds of combat.
  18. I don't think that should really make a difference. It terms of RPG, one game or the other is better. The better game should get the better score. I guess I just don't understand <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't try to understand, just play the games you like and be happy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> indeed.
  19. I don't think that should really make a difference. It terms of RPG, one game or the other is better. The better game should get the better score. I guess I just don't understand <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well, FABLE is an action-RPG, and KOTOR II obviously isn't -- that alone would divide RPGers into which method of combat they preferred, and thus what RPG they'd rather play. So ya see, the "better" game is purely subjective. That's why I always read reviews for content instead of shooting a glance at the score and sh**tin' bricks.
  20. well, they docked KOTOR2 for last year's graphics (gave it a 6 ferchrissakes), and having the same issues as well (loading screens, framerate drops, etc.). Perhaps they underrated KOTOR2 and overrated FABLE, but either way reading their reviews says much much more than the numeric scoring. that said, I hope this or SMT: Nocturne wins it! Both are absolute gems. I couldn't care less about an RPG with Mario.
  21. I'm playing on Difficult, and I've run into some tough battles (we're talkin die and retry!)....
  22. I thought KOTOR1's LS ending sucked, but the JOURNEY was worth replaying alone. I thought the DS ending was a bit better, but ultimately, I didn't mind either endings (but preferred the DS, and that is why it was selected as the background info for KOTOR2) I didn't mind HALO 2's either. I guess I'll have to see for myself, but I doubt I'll be PO'd by and ending sequence when the ride there kicks this much ass.
