  1. Not worth it since I've done both -- rent the game, play one side and give'er back. The 'smuggling' operations that Dobo gives quests for on Telos does hardly anything to your alignment if you do Light Side, so its not bad since the only guys you kill don't give Dark Side points. As for 'different missions' -- they're different perspectives. As for 'different NPCs' there's only one switch that can be made concerning alignment. There are different dialogue options -- ya, amazing ones considering the game can't even keep coherence when referring to the previous game. She to he, half way through -- awesome! I liked the first reply where you get 'a lot' of credits for doing Dark Side. I had 60,000 credits by the time I left the first of the four planets and I was playing Light Side (and difficulty if that matters) so you don't have to lie to make the game seem good. Its not. Its stagnant and incredibly easy -- for 'true' gamers, it'll be a disappointment.
  2. Odinson, The Unsuspecting Dark Lord of the Sith Look at him! -- Rolling a blunt; he is evil!
  3. Master Vandar Tokare -- wanting to reveal information but getting chided by those around me to keep it quiet. Usually by accident but occasionally wanting to reveal something secrety. Besides, he's the coolest Jedi Master and thank god he isn't involved in that god-awful expansion pack they call a game (The Sith Lords).
  4. I'd be interested, but keep it away from Obsidian and any other rookie companies, and I'll be fine. Storyline is key, so if they can create a game that is plausible and works then by all means, they should do it. Some good points but you'll have the staunch defenders who don't want "their" Revan defined. I say developing a male and female storyline would be interesting but remember there's not very many options since he (or she) can't be too giving or too devoted to the Dark Side so you'll have Kreia all over. P.S.: I did mean to be snide with the 'their' thing and I think people should just let it go. View Revan the way you want to -- most do that for any character they read about and if it affects them that much, they don't have to buy the game. Setting certain traits would be fine as far as I'm concerned since it is their story, and furthermore, we have an imagination -- we can use it to believe Revan is still a male if it so happens the character was set as a female or something of that much importance to people.
  5. You're the third one going left to right, level one -- it looks like a mentally challenged Ewok so I thought it fit.
  6. Lets get this back on track! Alignment: Dark Side Affiliation: Sith Warrior Caste Species: Sith (33% Human) If I've read correctly, Dark Jedi and Sith people merged or whatnot. Weapon: One-Handed Lightsaber Ranking within Organization: Sith Lord, Level 30
  7. Obi-Wan shouldn't look like he does in ANH, then, really because he is a Force Sensative and it sort of deadens the aging process.
  8. The Luke and Leia scene is to be an interesting piece but its one I dread entirely as I heard Padme is supposed to wear long and outlandish (even moreso) dresses that coverup her pregnancy and such -- plus you have to remember the Leia-rembering-her-mother scene in which she is sad and it just has to be sold perfectly... otherwise, I just dread it entirely. Lord Satasn: No. No, no, and no. You criticise me for posting like a juvenile and then you stooped below my level (which wasn't really even low to begin with and where you were in the first place) by calling me a whore of the forums and all that other crap that is painfully delivered. But I'll give you something concerning my rudeness and other such traits you find worthy of your prepubescent hatred: I have never seen a forum such as this one in which such a big group of idiots exists, and while generally I'm pro-life, never in my years have I seen such a group begging this hard to be aborted.
  9. Malak since KoTOR'2 had no good villians, IMO -- all under-developed. Calo Nord has a nice story to it, and Chundar/Zaalbar as well has a good villianous sort of way to it. KoTOR covers its bases really -- wussy tyrant (Chundar), cold bounty hunter who was mistreated as a child (Calo Nord), and a static villian who's a real bitch to kill with a Consular on Difficulty Mode and playing Light Side (Malak). Hell every planet had its villian save Dantooine that was at least intriguing and had depth to it -- The whole Khoonda affair is just 'be here for no real purpose' and you can really tell with the recruiting of people for the militia; there's no drive to it save the blackmailing of the merchant Ausure (I believe -- sp?). Nar Shadaa was good and the Exchange and its missions were probably the only relief in the game. Korriban was... pathetic. Oh yay, I fight Sion -- doesn't make it a good meeting nor really an intriguing one since I'm supposed to run from someone who I defeated with a LS Consular on Difficulty with one fell swoop of my lightsaber. Dxun and Onderon came in second but left more to be desired on each one -- I wasn't involved, really because it didn't draw me in even when I put the effort to dig through the weak dialogue trees constructed around its mission. It felt so A to B to C to D that it's like HK said -- making me want to put a blaster to my head. At least the original masked that with intriguing dialogue and interesting side-quests. Telos was okay -- not really. Both Peragus and Telos were so damn boring it was hilarious at times. No real villiany to the planet. I say Nar Shadaa and Dxun were the best. Vaklu was stupid -- he was here and gone and I certainly didn't care for him since I was not in the least drawn in with him. The original had its cliches - romanitcally and villian wise but I could bare it because it was well-done nonetheless. KoTOR'2 tries to be different and it is different -- the kind of different that should be looked on as a miserable failure at what it attempt to do. I don't want to mod for the extra dialogue bits and I don't want to waste time finding out what did happen since I will always refer to The Sith Lords as an expansion to the original while I make up what really happens in KoTOR'2.
  10. Does anyone have a link to the first game's songs? I have the second on comp but not the first .
  11. Bull****ting, lying, or stretching the truth, you pick!
  12. Skywalker is important, but the theme of the story is what's usually really important. Obi-Wan does not kick 'ass' as you say, but he wins his battles and only one I can think of off the top of my head in which he gets defeated. As for Anakin losing his head -- that's losing, okay? Do you understand how retarded that sounds when you're discussing a fight and who wins and you use a ****ty excuse like making a mistake or losing your head? That Obi-Wan can inflict that -- that Obi-Wan can cause that is a strength, idiot. Obi-Wan isn't my favourite character but he wins, and his role in the whole entire ****ing series is that despite being less-skilled and out-classed half the time when dealing with fighting, he still wins because he's true to the Light Side of the Force and it doesn't fail him. Anakin. Is. The. Worst. Character. Ever. I don't criticise George Lucas often because I like what he does for kids but Anakin is the epitomy of a two-dimensional character. The wanting, the constant wanting is all we get and when he loses to Obi-Wan, there will be a lot of people who are happy that Anakin loses -- keyword loses. It doesn't matter how you won, its the fact that you won, and let me say it again -- Obi-Wan wins. A lot. To the theme --> its a saga in which the Skywalkers are a dominant influence in what happens in the galaxy but realise this: its through them that we get the theme, the thing we walk away with -- or morals or whatever you want to call them -- that is important. Some things are just story-telling but even Lord of the Rings had a really good theme in which the weak or lesser men can make a difference. Saying its just destiny is lame but do what you will -- Anakin could have been Vader without getting defeated by Obi-Wan; its a title beqeathed unto each Sith Lord -- The Darth Title -- and we can see from the trailer that Anakin is still quite 'himself' when he does the massacre of the Jedi Temple.
  13. You would pay another fifty dollars american to see the game completed -- to pay for a game that wasn't completed in the first place -- a game in which you got jipped the first time around? You're a ****ing idiot.
  14. I play all types of games and I can enjoy what type of game it is but the characters sucked and it not being of Star Wars class is just one additional thing, that if not counted, would still leave a crappy game with crappy characters .
