Hi Enoch How much money are you looking to spend? I only say this because you want to play Oblivion and that game is harder on graphics then that cursed game FEAR. If you really do plan on getting a new powersupply then your options are much better. The NVidia 7800GS are the fastest AGP cards out there, particularly the Gainward Bliss 7800GS 512mbram which actuallyl has a 7800GT chip in it that comes overclocked by the manufacturer. This is pricey though. For midrange (for AGP) Maybe a 6800GS, good quality card i believe. You can probably find an overclocked one by eVGA. It seems that the 7600GT might come out soon for AGP, if you wait, this would be the better option. If you are planning on playing anymore new games like Oblivion use Windows Vista on this machine you might as well upgrade to 2gigs, there are improvements, and vista requires a reccommended 850mbram for standard use. Also while your opening your computer don't forget to get the dust bunnies out! Many people let them collect and it adds to the heat.

I can handle stress, no doubt. This guy cracks when working under pressure while leading, the coworkers already know this, this is already why im runing the business for the 2 days instead of this incapable guy who makes 25% more then i do. <_<

The boss has asked me to run the business for 2 days while hes gone, and the other guy for 2 days also. there really isn't much more responsibility out there for this kind of job. I've got everything down to a tee already. My boss had a bad run financially for a couple years do to an investment, he suddenly gets out of it and pays this guy more then me. I havent had a raise in 3 years. <_< I'm not gonna show any emotion, trust me.

13 years older, hes been doing it for probably 19 years, he actually owned his own business, but i run my own crew also just like he does. We have the same job, I'm faster then he is at what we do, but honestly there are a few things he can do that I can't, vice versa. Hes a better carpenter then i am, but we are not carpenters although we work inthe trades. We are painters/drywallers.

I just found out the new guy at work makes 25% more then i do, well I've been working there for 6 years and do not find this funny. - I successfully complete more work then him with greater quality consistantly - I do the risky labor - I don't have disriminating tatoos - and damnit, i've worked there for 6 years! Anyone have any tips for asking for higher wages, I am 23 need some advice please...

Sound Card Sound blaster, whatever the new model is for around $130. I would typically go for something uber expensive, but it wouldn't be economical in the long run since i could transfer this into my new machine next winter.

I'm going to have to wait till i build a new machine to feully appreciate this game... This looks like it could tie fear to its bumper and drag it off a cliff when it comes to graphics.

But as they keep overclocking these cards its obvious to see that the AGP8X still has potential that hasn't been used up. It supports 20 pipelines and its been overclocked, then re overclocked and the benchmarks are still improved. Plus why couldn't APG be compatible with Direct X10? AGP is slow, but not in its grave just yet.

The best Grapic card for APG is the Gainward Bliss 7800GS with 512 GDDR3, it actually uses the 7800GT chip so you can over clock the bejebus out of it naturally! :D it has 20 pipes instead of the 16 that the other 7800gs haves and runs cool because its basically underclocked even though its still overclocked to fit in with the GS standards instead of the GT standards. http://www2.computeruniverse.net The Review

I might pick this game up, now: what's the patched game like? Any bugs, still? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I played the game with the 1.2 and then later tried the other add-on patches to 1.2 that goes up to 2.1 now i believe. My experience was still buggy. The biggest bug still was the lagginess due to the horrid memory leak, i have 1 gig of 3200 ram. The addon patches are basically just a novelty thats not guaranteed to work, but i found it pleasant, overall i liked it the game and I'd recommend it to anybody who likes who likes an this genre. If you liked kotor beside its problems you'll probably like VM: Bloodlines. Maybe theres a way to unload the cached memory thats sucked in game? exiting the game worked for me.

2 times for K1. 1 time in k2, im waiting for the restoration patch so then i can load up all the High def patches, tweaks, addons and fixes. :cool: Anyone recommend anygood mods for k2?

I loved groundhogs day also, great movie with a great point to it. If you liked that movie you might also like run lola run, although its not a comedy it has some of the same key elements.
